  1. I'd go with MacLean
  2. Waaaaaaaaay!! But I agree with your point (The one I assume you're trying to make). Get Langfield back, Esson, Langfield & Preece all looked questionable signings at their respective times, but Leighton sorted them up into decent keepers. I'm not enjoying Langfields regression since Leighton left.
  3. So.....McGhee really has got the best out of him then
  4. Aluko was pish. Langfield & Diamond didn't exactly cover themselves in glory. MacLean looked like a really good signing, Paton, he really is a fine player. Overall, i'm pretty happy.
  5. Nope. Match fixing there.
  6. The fact you're arguing with an idiot. Relax. Step away from the computer, maybe go have a beer, it's half 5 on a Friday!!
  7. No.
  8. A week is 10080 minutes. From the start of the Raith game, to the end of the Celtic game is 10035 minutes. As 10035 < 10080, there are 3 games in less than a week.
  9. Glad it's not just me thats pissed off at McGhee...
  10. IN/OUT: Am I fuck going. £22 to watch our reserve team be humped by Celtic? No thanks. Pre-match: Pub, maybe, more likely bed. Match: Either pub or moaning like a bitch in live chat Post-match: Going to an engagement party Prediction: Humped.
  11. Not sure, probably Mackie and Paton, I'd rather Maguire and Paton but, you know... I'm almost positive that only Killie and terminate the loan, we can't recall him, however I'm sure there'll be some sort of gentlemans agreement in there.
  12. Some more for Rockness: Fatboy Slim, Doves, Ian Brown, Booka Shade, The Bloody Beetroots, Vitalic, Aeroplane, Plan B, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, The Cuban Brothers, Dub Pistols, and The Japanese Popstars.
  13. The thought of both administration and relegation is starting to grow on me (I’d like to emphasise the word slowly there) We always want to compare ourself to Hibs youth setup, and the fruit it is baring, so why not go the whole hog and do what they did 10ish years ago? We’re currently going nowhere fast, and in all honesty if we finish 5th or 11th in the league it’ll make absolutely no difference to me, not in Europe, not relegated, just existing- oh joy! Administration, we could wipe off large parts of our debt, hopefully oust the board and get a new more dynamic (or even just less shit) board in, bin Miller and his £7million a day pay cheque, and if we’re serious about moving stadiums, surely the administrator could force the sale of Pittodrie and we could go all Union Berlin and build our own stadium on a field somewhere (clearly the finer details of my plan need to be ironed out) Relegation, so what? Any worse than just existing? Not really. Hibs went down, now look at them? McGhee is saying to stick with him for the long term, if that includes going down for a year so be it. Yes, we might loose players on the cheap, etc. But playing at a lower level, surely we could get rid of all the ‘deadwood’ and play almost an entire youth team, so when they got back to the SPL they’d all have a years worth of experience, instead of just being thrown in at the deep end? Although, carrying out a plan like this (ie. A better planned one) would involve planning, something our entire board is completely inept at performing. But a 10 year plan that left us with almost no debt, a nice modern stadium, some decent players and a better board. Sounds good to me! Now where did I put my tin hat
  14. Yeah, 8000 instead of 800.
  15. Yes, our midweek game this season. Look at our midweek record at the tattiedome, it's time...
  16. Well, yes. We've won every cup game we've had against SPL teams this season, and not managed to win any against lower league teams
  17. We should beat lower league teams everytime. No exceptions. I did however share the pre-match doubt that we would struggle to do it.
  18. Indeed. I for one hope what I said falls into the "talking absolute shite" category.
  19. There's being positive, and there's talking absolute shite. Claiming "We have more than enough in defence to cope with what Hibs’ attack has to throw at us" falls into the second category.
  20. To say nothing would have done fine.
  21. I disagree with pretty much everything McGhee said after the game, but i'm glad he said it. If he'd gone to the papers and agreed that the players aren't fit to wear the shirt (they are not!) then that would absolutely destroy any confidence the team might have left, so good on him. I've not seen anywhere on here McGhee's comments on Sportsound on the way home after the match when he said "We shouldn't be expecting going to Starks Park and getting a win" or something to that effect. That had my blood boiling.
  22. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that is exactly what will happen. And even if they manage to take us all the way to penalties, I have absolutely no confidence in us being better than them from the spot.
