3-0 Stuttgart already

Delighted! As i've only got ye' olde council telly at home, I turned it on tonight expecting to see the Huns getting pumped out of europe, but naturally STV have chosen to show the Arsenal game instead, excellent! Fuck Olympiakos. Also, Barca 1-0 down to Dynamo Kiev after 2 mins.

I'm not so convinced. There is no way that anyone can deny that since the SPL was created they have been the most successful team. But is this really a good thing? Do we really want Hearts to be a big strong team? Would us having 3 big teams that won the league instead of 2 actually make any difference? I'd much rather that we had 1 season wonders from all the other SPL teams, Hibs, Motherwell, Us and Livingstone have managed to finish 3rd once each, lets keep that going United might managed it this season, and maybe Dundee in a few years too. The only '3rd force' I want to see in the SPL is Aberdeen. I'd quite happily see Hearts taken down a few levels and then watch the mighty Dons fill the void left by them.

Am I the only one here who feels sorry for this guy who's quite clearly been ripped off by our magnificent club? I'm so distressed by what he's had to go through that i've decided that we should all get together and try our very best to make things right again. So, if everybody would like to send me some money via paypal, i'll go down to the clubshop and buy a replacement ball just for him. Hopefully this will help the guy get over missing out on the ball from our imaginary game against them on the 2nd December, and hopefully he'll come back for another free day out at some point in the future.

I must have missed that game. I was at our 8-0 win in early February 1954. What a cup run that was, beating the Huns 6-0 in the semi-final infront of 110,939 fans down at that neutral venue was the highlight for me. A close second was the 3-0 home win against the Jambos infront of our record 45,061 crowd. I'm still a little gutted that we lost the final 2-1 to Celtic though infront of that 130,000 crowd at Hampden.

It really was! Buckleys hat-trick really rounded off a great afternoon for all 700 of us who made the trip down to Duns. I was really gutted though, I had Wishart on as first scorer! Just typical, eh?

Nah, it's all true, McGhee is a massive Celtic fan, he doesn't even like Aberdeen. I first though it when he came here and insisted that our new home top has white hoops on it. It was confirmed to me when he then made our team do a pre-match huddle. He's trying to turn us into Celtic.

I've evaluated the situation. I don't really think you'd sit in on a Thursday night and watch CSKA v Roma, so I don't think thats true. So, you must have just made it up. I suspect you may have got lucky though and be right.

There's absolutely Fuck all chance of an A380 being able to use Aberdeen Airport. Maybe, one of these (it is infact an inbound flight from Stvanger!)

I watched it on TV (part-time Fulham fan me! ) I've enjoyed watching their UEFA Cup run, reminds me of watching Middlesborough's Cup run a few years ago. Craven Cottage looks alot like Tynecastle on TV, all the fans right up at the action, wouldn't mind a pre-season friendly there next season!! (I can dream) They were saying on TV that the CSKA boss wasn't there for the first half as he was held up due to some problem with his passport? He got there at half time and I think we both see what that did for the team!! And, why the fuck do they have a player called Michel Platini!!
