  1. Worth a new thread though?! Clowns, ban this mod!!
  2. Was just saying... I'll quite happily be wrong about it.
  3. Either that or he's out of ideas
  4. Aye, it's a simple game! I really don't like the idea of us playing a 4-3-3, didn't work under either JC or Skovdahl, but, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt sofar.
  5. I would, but I can't
  6. Yes, the season before last we didn't make europe Last season we made europe. = Progress? Same could be said for the whole SPL
  7. I was reading that Benicassim is in chaos because of the weather. 'High Winds' I laughed, all those people going from the UK for the guaranteed nice weather in Spain.
  8. Aye, Fuck steady progress, who wants that?
  9. Much like every single argument there has been in the JMG/JIG 'debate' Every last comment was just pure opinion. JC's league target in the league was europe - he got it, end of. And Padre was hardly gunning for McGhee, raising genuine concern about how thin our squad is already, and how McGhee likes to run a squad this way. There is gonna be a point where he will need to bring in 'squad' players, or we'll have almost nobody to play for us. Given the choice i'm sure we'd all rather every signing was better than whats there before, but we have to deal with the reality we're in here. And anyway, lets look at McGhee's record at the dons: Wins: 0 Draws: 0 Defeats: 1 I believe that's a 100% failure rate MMMG

  11. Can I get a point, turns out one of mine are dead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edna_Parker
  12. Gutted that I won't be able to go, what's worse is i'll be in the Czech the week after the game
  13. Are you completely sure about that? I'm almost positive that the centenary book says it was the SFA who decided? Where's Al when you need him? i'm sure he'll remember reading the papers about it back then
  14. But the problem with that is, if they are too good, they'll end up back playing at their old team, or become too expensive for us and we'll be back to square 1, or even worse end up at the OF and we'll be behind square 1, etc, etc... Of course, it could work out (see Aluko)
  15. It's a catch-22 situation though. Whenever a team tries to play some decent, entertaining football in the SPL, they end up near the bottom of the league. Which means they switch to trying not too loose instead of trying to win, and when one team is sitting in defending, the other is never good enough to break down the other defense (or something along those lines - i'm rather tired) But like somebody else was saying earlier - dillusioned! I've not bothered to renew my ST yet, not sure I will either, I didn't really enjoy large parts of last season, and even with our new management team, it's still gonna be the same SPL. The thought of just picking and choosing games sounds rather attractive to me.
  16. Join the club I'm coming back from central Europe the day before the first leg, so fingers crossed it's an away game somewhere near where I am so I can go. Or Derry.
  17. Bruce Springsteen - Worlds Apart
  18. Does anybody know of any late-night(ish) bus service from Peterhead to Aberdeen? My half-assed look on the Bluebird website suggested that the last bus was at 9.30pm, which is less then ideal tbh.
  19. Was there ever any real doubt that he would?
  20. If the OF want to get in on the TV right money, why don't we get on their side and try and get some of the big cash they're hoping for too?
  21. Looks like total rubbish to me.
  22. A french defender? I'm excited!
  23. I went to that game by myself I remember a friendly against Brondby that got postponed twice (I think) A mid-season friendly against Southampton 3 days after they were in the FA Cup final. I do remember a pretty decent one against Hamburg though?
