Kenny I'd love to see stockley and Rooney paired up front. We should always play with 2 strikers IMO since we seem to be pish at scoring again. We went through a little spell there where we were finding it easy but it didn't last long. Stockley and Rooney would surely cause problems for anyone. Stockley being the 'lay the ball onto' type player. He's excellent at winning balls and he could play Rooney into positions. With the wing boys we have and McLean in midfield attacking or defending..it's a no-brainer. I love the idea of a 3 person defence. Maybe it'll highlight what their jobs are and not get in the way of each other. With big Ash , I think there is definitely a who's marking this guy problem. With this in place, we need McLean and Shinnie to backtrack a lot to cover the likes of dodoo and Miller who I think are both able strikers. I'd go Lewis Logan OConnor considine shinnie McGinn Christie McLean Hayes Rooney Stockley I much prefer OConnor playing the Jack role. A permanent position for him I hope, but until we get a solid central defender , he needs to be one. Shinnie or Hayes have to be our left back for this game I think. Won't happen though.

Is it 5 goals in 15 minutes we have given both cheeks in the last 2 games with them? Unacceptable even with our defence. I don't think the Huns are anywhere near as lethal a strike force as Celtic are. Let's get fucking intae the England top wearing bastards!

Mclean backtracked quite a number of times too and defended as did Shinnie. Obviously trying to impress Strachan me thinks. I think Stockley isn't getting enough credit here. He is far more effective than Rooney in these games. Someone mentioned it may have been a good idea to put Storey on to inject more pace and space. Agree with this. Around the 70 minute mark and take McGinn off. It's going to be a long 90 minutes in the cup. We may even play better if they score early on again. We shouldn't need to concede a goal to give us a boot up the erse though.

Well i absolutely loved that game (apart from the result of course) Superb entertainment! I tbought mclean was great tbh. His bringing down balls is superb.he pkayed some great passes too.was one of our best pkayers i thought. Terrible miss from indide the box near the end. Mcginns missed volley was by far a worse miss.he had a clear shot at goal and typically of him..blows it over the bar!!!! How many corners will he sky to the back post.some pretty shocking overhit crosses and corners by him i thought. reynolds- stop collecting the ball and thumping it up to the edge of their box for 3 defenders to head back to celtic players when you have plenty space and time ffs. Absolute stonewall penalty. How the ref didnt see it is passable.how the linesman on the right unblinded side didnt see it is extraordinary. Lewis- terrible goalkeeping for their griffiths' goal. Celtic demolished us in 11 minutes.we looked utter shite and clueless in defence. After that i have no fucking idea how they won tbh. We were the better side and got stuck right into them. Have to put chances away though. I thought stockley was very good.he holds up a ball and can dribble a bit too.good to see him on i thought and was very effective.u lucky with missed headed but there were far worse offenders as said above. Oconnor should still always start.played very well. Considine is very good but he was getting taken apart down the left. Great to see the young lads come on. They are are very good side with great talent it has to be said. Its hopefully going to be a similar game in the final apart from the first 11 minutes. Great fight lads and unlucky.

Exactly^^^^ He's brilliant IMO. Experience and pedigree and hardly past it. he would be a superb signing . Or should we just aim lower and get some SPFL average joe...yeah I'm excluding Shinnie and McLean. Let's raise the bar again and try getting better each year by signing better players with more pedigree than our shite league if possible. I never ever thought I'd say this but it's come to the point where so many Scots disgust me. i know the passback rule and if you read my previous post it states that I knew it was a passback and jack was in the wrong. I'd try this and it's hardly adventurous. Lewis Logan OConnor Reynolds Considine McGinn Jack McLean Wright Storey Stockley Rooney as a super sub. Storey and stockley still have something to prove. Ash too slow and cumbersome for their forwards. Wright needs a game like this. The kid's dying to show his form I reckon in front of a big crowd. Bring on 'tired' Hayes later for Wright and Pawlett for McGinn if he's not in the game. Cmon Deek...give us something different for us to cheer on...and Celtic to worry about!
