Does Jute get a lot of dates at Christmas time?
-
Doohan, like Mitov and Roos before him, always stays on his line, whereas when the ball was played through to Boyle, Joe Lewis would anticipated that pass and have already been on the move to cut the angle - Boyle may well have gone round him and still scored but at least he'd have had a decision to make...out last 3 keepers make that decision easy. I didn't think McKenzie was fully fit...had a few opportunities to take on their full back but most times checked back onto his weaker right foot . Other teams have realised that one of our weak points is a ball down the channel...Malloy and McKenzie look at each other to decide who's going to go for it, then both decide to go for it too late...same on the other side with Ruby and Devlin.

Listen mate, don't be ageist, because if you're lucky you'll be old one day! I don't need any extra Vitamin D - both my teeth are my own, my muscles are adequate enough for me to stand by the urinal for 10 minutes (and, because my ancient brain is still sort of functions) realise it, too late, should have been 15 mins), and my bones are OK-ish if you'll excuse the creaking sound when I'm actually mobile. And sliding the ground towards the sea would only increase the incidences for glacoma for us old guys. Apart from that, thanks for your input.

Two Jags - he only hit the guy once (from memory).

Also if the ask about any weaknesses you may have, answer that you are extremely honest. When he/she says, "I don't think honesty is a weakness", reply with, "I don't give a flying fuck what you think"
-
Obviously they'd heard about Devlin's goal prowess and marked him tightly leaving Robertson having heard about his goal prowess.

Apparently the scorer didn't celebrate his goal 'cos he used to play for the dead club...what a melt. -
Why was it 10mins (apart from the obvious). Was following the game on the BBC and a huge "YAASSSS" when we went 3-2 - since I'm sitting in Costa in Union Sq got a fair few disapproving looks...which increased when it was followed up with OH, FFS.
-
Not a fan then?

Or, when they equalized, a section wanting Rooos back!"

Sitting in the SS and it was a clear elbow to McKenzie...ref was on the blind side but the lino (old mannies term) must have seen it. I agree that McDonald should start at the tattiedome (actually thought he'd have started today). Would also start Palaversa instead of Nilsen as with him and Shinnie we are a bit immobile in the central area.

Their next game is a relegation battle against Ross County -
Haha, when I first started going to Pittodrie in the early '60s you actually could do that because, apart from what is now called the Main Stand, the ground was completely wide open, so if you were standing, say, in the beach end and the ref. gave a penalty at the Merkland Road End all us young kids (and we'd have been a large proportion of the "crowd") would make a beeline to the other end to either try to put off the penalty taker (because, obviously, 20 spotty teenagers (not me obviously, as my skin was crystal clear) would have worried a professional fitba player) or hopefully watch the ball nestle in the net.
-
You were sitting behind the goals? Well kudos to you, even in my youngest days in the early '60s there was no way I could be behind both goals at the same time.
-
Well, that'll open Pandara's box. As regards your statement about passing, Stefan Gartenmann had the most completed passes for us last season - a totally meaningless statistic.
-
In such troubling times of strife and discord, behold the soothing calm of the humble Venn diagram : Perhaps you could adapt this Venn diagram to show us midfielders/age/passing ability!
-
Really?...but that isn't what you said, "Lightening pace for such a big man". Your point seemed to suggest that lightening pace and big man/male were mutually exclusive and I suggested an alternative.
-
Well, you are suggesting that if you're a big man, say, 6'5", you can't run fast. I would suggest that Bolt had disproved that theory.
-
Totally agree his performance in Helsinki was abysmal but, really! "Lightening pace for such a big man"...you do know that Usain Bolt was 6' 5"? Cliché of the day award goes to you! (I'm way to old to put a smiley thingy here)

Exactly how I saw him. When he was on it he was really on it but most of the time he wasn't, I would hazard a guess that he's back because we have his contract, doubt if Thelin is at all thinking about playing someone who isn't fit, isn't interested and doesn't really fit into his idea of how to play fitba. I would think he'll be paid off in January unless someone is daft enough to buy him.

Read in the Guardian today that there is a new film out about our former striker Lee Miller, though was very surprised to see that Kate Winslet is playing the lead role.
-
But he never was the type to put in a shift, he was always half-hearted about doing the dirty work.
