Exactly...as soon as the fixtures were announced they should have said that they are confident that both teams will win their respective preliminary ties and so their first 2/3 league games will all be played on the following Sunday their Euro games which would have been really helpful for St M and Killie (and Dons fans) who'd have booked train and, possibly, B&B for the Saturday only to find out the fixture had been changed. But then when have the SPFL or the SFA ever given a fuck about anyone apart the bigots)

McKenzie could have had a hat-trick today! we really should tie him up with a 2/3 year contract. We could and should have won that comfortably, yet they had one huge chance in the first half when Devlin and Milne dithered over a bouncing ball - Devlin really should be taking control of that being the senior player - it's something we've done regularly for the last couple of seasons (see last week's goal for Helen) and needs to be irradicated quickly. Ambrose and Gueye should be out on loan and we need a centre-forward to be brought in with Solker as back-up.

St. Mirren absolutely bossed us 3 times last season and would have won all 3 if VAR and the ref. knew the laws of the game. If he's still our player then Miovski has to start. Personally I'd make 1 change, bringing in Milne and moving Devlin further forward because watching Morris wander around looking for something to do drives me crazy!

Can't agree with "I value pace and Duncan and Vinny struggle to beat their man." because both beat their man repeatedly (obviously it's easier coming on when the game is done and dusted) and Morris doesn't and he seldom offers any assistance to Devlin whereas Vinny or Duncan at least understand how to play that role. Wonder why Vinnie wasn't given the same opportunities as Morris during these LC games.

Hope you're right but Spain have got a number of players missing in the semi-final so getting past a really boring France will be difficult. England strike me as being in the same category as Greece and Portugal when they won it - grinding out results whilst better teams run out of steam and players. I'm really glad I'm no longer living daaan saff any more as it would be unbearable if they go on and win it.

He's Ok but would he get in our U18s team? Possibly next year when he's matured a bit - maybe send him out to Peterhead on loan and see how he gets on.
