  1. Agree with all of this. Fallon is never a footballer in a million years and at the stage in the game that we brought him on we were exposing their defence and needed more pace not a lumbering cart horse. Was likewise impressed with Rae who rarely wastes a ball and has a bit of drive about him.
  2. Its funny how watching games in different ways or from different views gives different perspectives. I was at the game today and the team could not be faulted on effort, every player grafter hard and I thought we should have won. Thought Fyvvie, after a horrendous opening 25 came onto a good game (missing the open goal excluded) despite getting kicked all over the park and in general our midfield played pretty well. i wasnt too disheartened. Having read the comments on here Im not so sure as sometimes the tv shows things much clearer.
  3. I dont understand this one at all, weve already got our full quota of shite attackers I would have thought
  4. There is a good argument for giving him the money and signing him up for 3 years. We could keep him next season and then get rid in the summer making back the extra money spent and more. The problem is if he regressed into horeshit ala Seve or Mark Kerr or Mulgrew or got seriously inured wed be left with a pig in a poke and even deeper in the hole (calm down Mizer). I think in this case and having seen what he can do it would be worth the risk
  5. Willie Miller was another very young captain after Martin Buchan. Age is not a factor, its all about attitude
  6. Over rated inbred hun fuckwit
  7. I dont think that we were ever realistically going to be able to offer him the sort of money which will be on offer elsewhere for a proven international player. No surprise really but were Dons fans so we have to live in hope that the boy would take leave of his senses and accidentally sign the contract when his agent wasnt looking
  8. Im beginning to think its a psychiatrist or a good kicking Paton needs. The ability is there but he's seemed incapable of producing it recently.
  9. Mawene is a great physical specimen, apart from his legs.
  10. I agree with you RDU, I hope the boy turns out to be a good signing but it does smack slightly of desperation. Time will tell as always, he may turn out to be a budding star, but with our track record...
  11. Agreed Dave. Although a mixture Zeros ability and Stavrums goal rate would be fantastic if a little out of our league at the X million it would cost us.
  12. Yes but more consistent and effective than Zero ever was. Zero was mercurial and had all the talent in the wolrd but another zero is not what we need right now, we need someone decent and consistent in my opinion.
  13. Story appears in Mail on Sunday as well, stating its a done deal which will go through tomorrow.
  14. Well beaten by the better team who played their football on the deck. Ive seen us beaten down there a few times but normally its us playing the football, today was the reverse. MNot sure where the goals are going to come from because we are not creating anything. On the positive side Arnason is a really good player albeit he got caught out of position at their goal I think
  15. The boy had some left peg on him but his overall fitness and mobility wasnt good enough.
  16. >Sound of klaxon< The word oui has already been used albeit in a different context. Try again
  17. Or Haraldur Ingolfsson
  18. After some of the previous ones he had nothing Toulouse
  19. Amiens to that
  20. Is the striker a big lad or just a oui guy? A mate at the game said he had a fine pair o knees and he'll probably end up at Inverness Calais
  21. Sounds a bit fishy
  22. He got taken off against St MIrren with a shoulder injury which I think is still keeping him out.
  23. 'You are as tight as a tiger' would be much worse.
