  1. Did he not play for Hull?
  2. Don't be so stern.
  3. Doesnt appear to make any sense whatsoever unless we want to see how he shapes up and decide whether he is worth offering extended terms to.
  4. Great celebrations!
  5. Agreed, think a half decnt team will still score a few against us, so lets hope Utd are pish on Saturday
  6. Agree with TF sounds as though his leg has perhaps been amputated or his knee has been removed. Not an easy injury to get over, just ask David Murray
  7. We need an inspirational captain and your saying that he fits the bill so its a no brainer.
  8. Dont want to be negative after two wins away from home but was about to post the same. Even McGhee managed wins against Hibs and Hamilton so fingers crossed that we show that we can get a result against one of the better teams although being the best of the three worst teams in the league will do for me if we stay up.
  9. According to Broon in his post match interview there are some players coming in on trial next week from down south and further afield and a couple of players who he would like to sign who dont need a trial. Gave out no names as you would expect.
  10. Wee Broon going for the manager of the month award with his second team this year if he keeps this up
  11. Dont steak your life on a victory well probably go and play hoof ball
  12. The guys chutzpah knows no limits. Has a neck of solid brass and an ego the size of a small continent. Let it go Tommy, you've been caught out.
  13. Yes, forgot about him, thanks RDU
  14. Not if he's spinning up there after being rattled by Tokeley or some other uncaged beast
  15. I've been thinking about that and cant actually remember our last proper right back who wasn't some converted centre half/midfielder/winger

  19. I tend to agree with Manc, this is a player who had performed well on a very big stage so must be worth a few bob. The whole Foster issue for me exposes the stupidity of sections of our support some of whom would gladly give him away thinking that we will get somebody better on the same wages. In reality I cant think of one player in recent times who we have brought in who has even been of an equal standerd to the person he is replacing with the exception of Hartley, who is no spring chicken.
  20. Good experienced player who should help shore us up at the back even if its just for 6 months so no objections to this news.
  21. I dont think Jamie will ever get over his fitness problems. On that basis, its a no unless he's daft enough to take a pay as you play deal.
  22. Discussed the result with a friend last night and came to the conclusion that Brown and Knox seeing us getting tanked was, perversely, for the best. At least they got to see the glaring deficiencies in the team and we didnt put in one of our out of the blue performances that would make a first time observeer think that everything is ok. They will have left with no doubts as to the size of the job that faces them and the poverty of the playing resources at their disposal. What they do to improve matters is anybodys guess.
  23. I took from the interview that he was trying to leverage a contract from John Boyle.
  24. Im not sure where your coming from MS. You seem to be suggesting that Brown would only be a 6 month appointment and there is nothing to indicate that this is the case. It may be that the board believe that a safe pair of hands for a couple of years may tide us over until another appointment needs to be made.
  25. The days of being able to win one in 15 seems like a golden period.
