Would not be surprised if they sacked Murty and used him as scapegoat for the Celtic defeat to appease their fans. -

If Gerrard is at the Celtic match today I believe he is their next manager, if not I will stick with my gut feeling he will not be stupid enough to take the job. -

Depending on what paper you read he has signed up or he is thinking about it. -

He has 2 years left of his contract with The Rangers on 20K a year. You can not make up this shit  -

Word on the street is Murty will be given the managers job on a permanent contract IF The Rangers do not lose more than 3 goals on Sunday. -
Great result for Aberdeen yesterday. Was a bit disappointed at the Niall McGinn display but can not fault our overall play. There was only one team wanting to win the game. I have a feeling that Killie will get a result today against Hibs followed by a Celtic win against Sevco on Sunday. PS.....Great to see some green grass on the pitch for a change. Well done the ground staff

Maybe Chris McLaughlin (BBC Scotland) should stick to true stories like the one below. Rangers chairman Dave King has been told he has breached takeover rules by failing to make a court ordered £11 million bid for the club's shares by Thursday because he has not yet got confirmed funds in the UK. An offer to all shareholders by Mr King's South African-based Laird Investments (Proprietary) Limited has been held up as official approval to transfer the funds needed to support the bid from South Africa to the UK have not yet been given. -

In the Hull's Twitter page today Mcgregor hasn't agreed any terms with Sevco although Chris McLaughlin (BBC Scotland) told us yesterday that he HAD signed for a second time. Steve Clarke the Kilmarnock manager also said there was 'no offer' from The Rangers. All Sevco do is feed these rumours to the Scottish media who it turn print them as truth to get The Ranger's fans to purchase these Season Tickets to keep the club running. As for Steven Gerrard becoming their new manager you decide. -
Ally McCoist on The Rangers manager job When have The Rangers ever finished second behind Celtic?

By all accounts Steve Clarke has knocked them back so Gerrard was next in line. Still believe this will NOT happen. -
GAME DAY Let's get the first game of 4 started with a win tonight. McInnes reckons we need 3 0r 4 wins to get runners up position. I like Friday night football at Pittodrie especially if we have the 3 points in the bag before the other clubs even kick off their games.

The Sun https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2557375/steven-gerrard-in-talks-to-be-rangers-manager-and-go-head-to-head-with-his-former-liverpool-boss-brendan-rodgers/ No chance this is true. Why would they appoint a guy with zero manager experience. It makes no sense but it is Sevco we are talking about I suppose PS Maybe the Admin chappies could move this post to the Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased), liquidated & Green abondons ship thread to discuss should this crap come true.

Hibs are reported to be interested in Crawford but he would be a great signing for us.

I see that Motherwell have been given an initial allocation of 12,700 tickets for the Scottish Cup Final but will receive more if demand is there. Good to see the Motherwell fans coming out in force for the Cup Final.
-
I honestly believe we will end up in second spot. Although our record is poor against the upcoming teams this is the best time to step up to the plate.

One should always have savings for a rainy day donsdaft and there are lot of them in Aberdeen.

The Scotsman Gerrard will NOT be the next Sevco manager. The media never fail to amaze me with the crap they come out with.

Tuesday, 24 April 2018, 22:00 by Rangers Football Club RANGERS notes Hibernian’s decision to cut our supporters’ ticket allocation for the final match of the Scottish Premiership season at Easter Road on Saturday, May 13. First and foremost Rangers hopes the safety of our fans, who will now be in only one section of the South Stand rather than filling it completely, will not be compromised by this decision, which beggars belief. This is the least Rangers expects for supporters who have repeatedly proven themselves to be the most loyal in the country by selling out away ticketing allocations at opposition stadiums for years. This was evident as we rose through the divisions when clubs the length and breadth of the country, including Hibernian, benefitted financially from the presence of our fans. Rangers will of course bear in mind Hibernian’s decision when considering ticketing arrangements for future matches – both home and away – against this particular club. Watch out Hibs the huns will get their revenge... :rofl2: -
Stewart Milne Just what part of this statement does these objectors not understand. Some are just losing their life savings for nothing.

^^ Sorry if my opinion offends you. I am an optimist and always believe that Aberdeen will win their games. All the media talk before our game at Pittodrie claimed Hibs were the better club. I have no idea why our players bottle it against Celtic and The Rangers. It is a mind set thing. I will give you that Hibs were awesome against Celtic and they fully deserved their win. I fully believe that when Aberdeen play their top game they are a match for any team in the Premiership. We do need more quality back up for the squad for next season. These last 4 games will prove if I am right or wrong.

I remember all the hype about how Hibs were world beaters before we played them at Pittodrie and absolutely hammered them. I see no reason why we can not put them in their place again on May 5th.
