Ross must be worth a shot, he's doing well for Raith. The season is a bit of a write off, now would be the perfect time to blood a good few youngsters and get this shambles of a squad sorted out for next season. We should have learned a lesson with Ryan Jack but it seems we learned nothing from that.
-
If there were fans in the stadium, the decision to play Wright or otherwise would be made for the manager. All we are doing by playing him now is developing him for next season, for one of our biggest rivals. Like we did with Christie. The very definition of a feeder club. Ross County are playing a bit better now, but only on the basis that they couldn't get any worse. 2-1 home win if Wright plays. Easy 3-0 for the Dons if he doesn't. Hopefully Considine does him in training before the game takes place.

I'd be astounded if he does not sign for the huns. The manager was basically confirming it's a formality now. He's not getting any benefit of any doubt. He has shafted AFC.
-
Just a feeling I've had for some time. I stated on here that I felt the huns were the problem some weeks ago, long before it broke in the press. The story breaking was just confirming my long held suspicion. Basically, both he and McInnes are taking the piss if that's the case. Playing the supporters for fools because they know what happened when Ryan Jack's move was announced. The whole of Scottish football makes me sick just now. Between this, Celtic players lording it up in Dubai in extremely crass circumstances, and the huns making a massive loss of nearly £20m to cheat their way to the title, I've seen and heard enough. Wright is definitely going to the huns. All this Oxford chat is just people in denial. He's taken the piss out of the team that developed him.
-
I don't agree he's done nothing wrong, he's in the process of signing for the huns. I'm disgusted with him, and the club. I said at least 6 months ago his contract should have been a priority. Yet here we are. We are going backwards at an alarming rate as Sevco make fools of us all by repeatedly tapping up our best players for free transfers.
-
Well the manager confirmed it so it's not exactly a rumour. It's following the same trajectory as the Ryan Jack transfer is the issue here, hence why I think it's been done discreetly long before this transfer window officially opened, probably back in October. The player and no doubt agent being deliberately vague until the last minutes on their future plans. Stinks of Sevco to high heaven. For that reason he is not fit to wear the shirt any longer. The last Wright to go to the huns from the Dons got sent packing but it seems we've gone soft now, the manager is turning into Jimmy Calderwood MK11 by fawning over a team which is taking our players for nothing.
-
Really? So organising a clandestine move to the huns is now all fine for Aberdeen players. We should just become a feeder team for the huns and be done with it then. I can't think of anything he could have done which would be more wrong than this but each to their own opinion. I won't pay for another Aberdeen game on RedTV whilst he remains in the squad.
-
No he didn't, he did the right thing. Brophy didn't want to be there, so he removed him from the squad, for someone who does want to be there. It's very simple. Wright should just be replaced with someone from the youth team and we move on. If he goes now, fine, if he signs a pre contract, also fine. I just don't want him hanging about the place like a bad smell now. He's made his bed, let him lie in it. I was astounded to see him spoken about by the manager as possibly signing for Rangers, and then named in the starting line up the following day.

All of football is about to collapse into a heap of debt and recrimination. The only sensible thing to do is stop. Who wants to keep ploughing money into this sanitised excuse for football we are getting just now. The whole point of football is going to the game to watch it.
-
Well you say the world has moved on but it never stopped the Killie manager saying Brophy would be bombed out because he wasn’t committed to the club anymore. The same applies with Wright. He wants to be elsewhere, bye then. The fact that it’s the huns makes it even worse. Scottish football is not even remotely enjoyable. Even our own players are taking the piss from the supporters, and we seem to be accepting it. What is going on with our once proud club.
-
It looks like the classic case of tapping up to me. I suspected he'd been tapped up in August. The normal six months to end of contract rules do not apply in Scotland when it's the huns doing the offering. We had this before with Ryan Jack, look how that turned out. He even played in the cup final before going to the huns, unbelievable. When a player says he's leaving, he's out, immediately. Anything else is taking the piss from the supporters. Ferguson's treatment of Eric Black is a prime example, no cup final for him because he publicly made a fool of the club paying his wages. I don't want to see Scott Wright near an Aberdeen shirt ever again.
-
Also, I was unhappy to see Scott Wright named in the starting line up last night. Any talks with huns should be an immediate sine die for any player at the club. However we have a manager who has done the same thing. So instead he still gets picked.

It's time for this whole farce of a season to be pulled. Scottish football at the top level disgusts me and has done for some time It's really just a Ponzi scheme to regularly steal money from idiots. Until it's a fair competition, a proper level playing field, I'm out. You never hear Dave Cormack saying anything about the corrupt nature of Scottish football so you have to assume he's in on it.
-
I said I suspected hun involvement with Wright since the start of the season.
-
Cup ties suspended for 3 weeks for lower league teams.
-
Twitter behaving like AFC Chat.
-
I thought we were selling Cosgrove.
-
I've had a suspicion since the start of the season that the huns were tapping him up. Hopefully not.
-
He's the only creative player we've got at the moment, maybe Hedges at times, so that's a disappointment that he wants to leave. We started contract talks with him too late. It was obvious at the start of the season that he was one of our best players.

Trump's punishment for inciting a riot is a 24 hour ban from Snapchat.
-
All looks staged to me. Americans are off their heads. Gun toting weirdos to a man and woman. Hun face paint on the horned devil gadgie, he's probably a season ticket holder at Ibrox.
-
Brora huns game called off again. I'm not certain this Scottish cup will be completed the way it's going. In fact I think the whole season might be cancelled soon.
-
As long as he’s no relation of Sir David.
-
He’s a good striker as I said. He can hit the ball. He would have been a good signing for us. I’m a fan of us signing proven players from our own league, it usually works out well. I’d like to see us go for Findlay from Kilmarnock too, him and Brophy were their two best players.

The problem with Hayes is he now tries to cross without beating the man in front of him, he has lost some of the explosiveness he had previously. Crosses from outside the 18 yard line are usually no use. GMS is a great player, for free it makes sense.
