  1. No, you're thinking of Bruce Dickinson.
  2. If that's the case then that is probably it. I couldn't be arsed researching and assumed wrongly. Padre is probably right when it comes to the Old Firm factor as well. Thread closed.
  3. But it's not affecting Wolves though.
  4. I noticed today that, newly promoted to the English Premier league, Wolves have an average attendance of 24k. Wolverhampton has a similar population to that of Aberdeen. Perhaps the surrounding area is more densely populated but I doubt that it would be by that much. Aberdeen are in a better situation than Wolves when it comes to opportunity for competing for top honours. The football on offer in the English second tier is, arguably, of a similar standard to that of the SPL. I can't figure out why Wolves would have such a better supported football team than us by a considerable margin? Am I missing something fundamental? Is it down to dominance of the Old Firm? If so, why didn't we fill the ground every week when the club was at the peak of its' success in the 80's?
  5. Was there any plastic Scottish casuals outside the ground?
  6. I doubled my money at the weekend thanks to late Man U and AC Milan goals in a treble with Celtic.
  7. Going back a long way to the old afc.co.uk/chat days. He lived down in deepest Kent and was known for posting after he'd had a few.
  8. Watching Birmingham versus Wolves. An absolute shocker of a tackle on Iwelumo sees the big man stretchered off and a straight red card for Carsley. It looks a very bad injury for Iwelumo. Carsley was off the ground and caught Iwelumo's standing leg just above the knee.
  9. Fuck sake. Is there not more important things going on in the world to protest against than Aberdeen FC's stagnating progress on the football pitch?
  10. I don't like him or his Harry Potter lookalike Dad.
  11. McGhee is not very highly thought of by London based Dons supporters who attended the Centenery celebratory dinner down here. If his performance that evening is a yardstick then he is an arrogant twat.
  12. Exactly. If ever there was a time for Jimmy to keep his mouth shut and head down getting on with the job it's now.
  13. Bruce Rioch. Has been in for the job before. Has done a great job in Denmark since.
  14. Cheers Manc min. There are loads of Sam Smith's down here and I have gotten to know Alpine very well over the years. I didn't realise there was fark all football on elsewhere so hopefully should be ok. PS Just got back from Tokyo yesterday. That's some place and a half!
  15. This is a bit of a long shot but does anybody know of any bars in Manchester that may show the game?
  16. I love it when Bobby gets Biscuit ersed!
  17. How the fuck does being bottom of the Scottish Premier make you 'officially' the worst team in Europe?
  18. Jamie Langfield Charlie Mulgrew Richard Foster Gary McDonald Alexander Diamond Scott Severin Jamie Smith Mark Kerr Lee Miller Darren Mackie Tommy Wright Derek Young Javan Vidal Stuart Duff Lee Mair Christopher Maguire Bertrand Bossu Andrew Considine Sone Aluko

Aye, I got the day off today. Pretty much impossible to get in and out of London as few train services were actually working.
  20. Big Willem's old team.
  21. Byrne and Eno. April 13th. Royal Festival Hall.
  22. Not at all squire.
  23. I think that is the crux of it.
  24. Their player recruitment director/manager, some guy called Bryan Gunn, is currently caretaker manager.
