That cunt Rossdale isn't really a Dons fan. There is a tenuous link due to a family connection in Aberdeen and complete nothing story by the EE years back saying that he might pump cash in to the club. I've played against him at fitba and he plays like a fairy.
I think he sounds like he may be an asset. The problem I still have is that he is not an out and out goal scorer. Miller and Wright will chip in no doubt and will probably score most of the goals but certainly not enough to make sure we are in pole position for the 3rd spot. My problem is with the other two forwards. I just can't see Mackie or Bebo comfortably getting in to double figures. C'est la Vie.
If he does sign that will leave us with a total of 4 forwards who don't fall under the bracket 'prolific'. Boy do we need Jamie Smith to stay fit and for MacDonald and Young to come up with a few goals from midfield.
It's not often you hear of a medical being delayed a couple of weeks due to injury. Do the Dons medical team not have kit sophisticated enough to work out if an injury is serious or not? Then again it could be a prudent move and may explain why Darlington are keen to ship out.
I'm pretty sure Preston's board and supporters will be expecting the team to be challenging for a play off spot. They have been there or thereabouts on a few occasions.
He's a different player to Nicholson. Kerr isn't as dynamic but I think he's more comfortable and clever with the ball. You'll see less punt from the back with Kerr in the team as he will offer himself where not many from the midfield did last season.
I don't think you've been very objective with your assessment.
