Are the howls of outrage about the "failure" of our youth system not more from frustration than anything else. It is good to see that our younger guys are being recognised at that level. One hopes that mixing with the "upper echelon" of the country's players can only be good for them and, by association, us (AFC).

9 points is not at an unreasonable target from those games - win both home games, and the away one at Falkirk. However.................. The argument put forward by new managers for their team performing poorly is that they haven't had the chance to mould the team into their mindset and tactics, coupled with "not having their own players". I used to have 260 shares, which I think was the minimum you could buy at the original flotation. The subsequent reshuffling/reflotation/share jiggery pokery reduced that holding to 88 or maybe 86.
