  1. In a fit of realism after watching that game, if we don't sneak a win against Falkirk, I can't see them doing anything till the St Midden match.
  2. I still enjoy football - just not the style that we seem to "play"
  3. What happened to you in the intervening 8 hours between your posts?
  4. Defence 3 Midfield 3 Strikers 3 Poor show indeed Mulgrew 3 MacDonald 2 Young 1 Maguire 1 Mackie 1 Miller 1
  5. In that they both have the letter S in their name twice?
  6. Stop being so damned sensible and accurate. Allow us to wallow in self pity and loathing for just a while.
  7. Are the howls of outrage about the "failure" of our youth system not more from frustration than anything else. It is good to see that our younger guys are being recognised at that level. One hopes that mixing with the "upper echelon" of the country's players can only be good for them and, by association, us (AFC).
  8. 9 points is not at an unreasonable target from those games - win both home games, and the away one at Falkirk. However.................. Killie just fired 4 past us, we've squeeked past Hibs and F'kirk in the past....... The jungle drums are rumbling. We should have 9 points more than we do just now, if we've any illusion of achieving anything resembling success.
  9. Jesus, JC says "sorry" - damn, they must really have been bad.
  10. so, you're at work....... you make a schloppy mistake that costs your company a tangible amount.... you get a rollicking you do it again, you get hauled over the coals and put on probation you do it again and again...... and someone high up decides you're a complete arse and shows you the door.
  11. he's lucky in one way we're away from home this weekend. Not so lucky in the opposition. If we get hammered, I fear for the whole teams' seemingly fragile confidence and the way they've been playing, we could do a Derby........
  12. Aye, well, you'd be spoiled for choice - there's loads of them out there. I can't wait to hear how it'll be our (the fans) fault.
  13. The argument put forward by new managers for their team performing poorly is that they haven't had the chance to mould the team into their mindset and tactics, coupled with "not having their own players". So, Jimmy's not got that excuse. What could Jimmy do about players missing chances? It;s his freaking job to get the team ready - he's got a soddin strikers' coach and he (JC) picks the team. These are the guys he reckons are good enough.............. when plainly, they're not ! I truly am fearful about the Celtic game, if we ship 4 goals to Killie
  14. We were hardly "brilliant" against a pish poor Hun side Jimmy. Although in comparison to what has followed, maybe he has a point.
  15. I used to have 260 shares, which I think was the minimum you could buy at the original flotation. The subsequent reshuffling/reflotation/share jiggery pokery reduced that holding to 88 or maybe 86. I never bought the shares with a view to what benefits they would bring me (which is just as well) - I think that getting a jump on the queue for in demand match tickets is the only positive thing I get from them, other than the warm glow inside generated by being part of the Dons family
  16. Born in Aberdeen Dad brought me up properly and I was a glory hunting teen thanks to Ally MacLeod
  17. This seems just as likely the triple that Jimmy's set for
  18. In my eyes, I'd rather our forwards defended from the front by banging the ball into the opposition net, rather than playing as a 5th and 6th midfielder.
  19. Los Lonely Boys ~~ Real Emotions
  20. Give that man a gold star and get him to pick the team next week. Foster couldn't pass the ball to one of his team mates all day, nor it seemed, was tackling that high on his agenda either.......
  21. What a shower of shite Foster and Bebo need taken down the Esplanade and shot.
