  1. Wonder if the club would consider refusing to sell any tickets to OF fans for our home games. Inform Grampian's finest - no away fans, you'll need less presence, can we have a reduction in your fee? Try to entice back those AFC fans who stay away from OF games because of the worries about trouble. If that could come out to be even close to cost neutral for the club, they might consider it. Are we compelled to have away fans?
  2. If he could score 4 a month, rather than 4 a season, then I'd be all for it.
  3. So who decides on the public face for the apology? Duff surely didn't decide to do this off his own back?
  4. 35 K a week no wonder they'd like him to leave......................
  5. Don't know that there will be that much moaning about this. It seems most of the complaints have been about "the management" setting deadlines and then letting them slide. I'm all for saying there's your offer - take it or leave.
  6. Bobby Clark (or Bobby Connor or "Bobby" Bisconti or Lee "my right foot is only for standing on" Richardson" ) actually, forget the Bobby Connor vote.
  7. Waaaaaaaah where's "my" Sports smash ?
  8. He's not exactly prolific - or even a regular. In the same period,Darren Mackie has appeared for the Dons 91 times and scored 23 goals - Mackie's "strike rate" is significantly better than Lafferty's. So how is he worth the best part of 4M?
  9. Like most, swithered between Hans and Theo. Voted for Snelders in the end, because he made us forget how bothered we had been about Leighton leaving. Mind, I nearly reconsidered after remembering a penalty he gave away at Eatser Rd - for lamping some hibber at a corner kick for standing on his toes. (the nozzzing seely comment immediately sprang to mind)
  10. I know what I'm supposed to do in every situation, just sometimes, I can't quite seem to turn the thoughts into actions. I'm prone to calamatous (sp) mistakes but the odd moment of brilliance too. I like a beer or several and have been known to abuse the boss. I am Jamie Langfield
  11. 8. sometimes apathy is just too difficult to attain.
  12. Would it not depend a little on his contract? They may say he's not as good as we thought he was, so we'd like to offload him - but if he's got a 3 year deal (not saying he has, I have no idea), then are they not obliged to pay the man - as long as he turns up, trains etc.
  13. aye, you cannae beat a bit of tombola for excitement
  14. If he's going to play Seve at the back, and if walker returns, then that what excuse will he use not to play Josh?
  15. Buck stops at the top. It has happened too frequently for it to be acceptable.
  16. Because JC's definition of "fully fit" seems to result in a lot of players getting re-injured in their comeback game. I'm with The Chimp on this - don't do it.
  17. Man, there are some seriously screwed up people on that page. I mean, dere is sum wack jobs representin', a'rite. Young people of today.....
  18. More downs than ups. The highs were amazing - Munich, Copenhagen, Celtic in the cup the lows were deep and too often, but especially the 2 semis, losing 3 - 1 to Killie Too much of it has already drifted into a haze of mediocrity.
  19. The last couple sentences scare the bejeezus out of me "So is there any chance Jamie (Smith) might be involved? “As I say I have been doing some work with John and he is quite pleased. The last couple of days I have come on. We will see how this week goes, even just getting back to training before the end of the season I would be really pleased with that.†Open letter to JC Jamie Smith is a valuable player - one, however, who is injury prone and seemingly a little fragile, especially as he appears to be constantly being put back into the team and re-injuring himself. Next Thursday's game against the unwashed scum hordes from Govan means nothing, there is nothing at stake. For the future of this club, please do not even think about playing Jamie Smith. Let him rest, let him train with the phsyio, let him have a good preseason, and maybe, just maybe, we'll get a full season out of him next year.
  20. Just leave already. Why is he frightened of coming out and saying he's not staying? Does he think he'll get booed? Surely we can find someone who can score at a better ratio than once every 353 minutes?
