I've said it before that I think Ferguson is overrated and very hit and miss. So IF we get £3million that's great. I'd rather a better loan than him sorry.

Longstaff is apparently very good so I'll take him as a developing player while we search for another. We need all the help we can get at the moment in keeping our position at the top of the league. If he helps us for say 6 months then leaves, so be it.

If we get bates AND longstaff (even on loan), then I'm impressed.
