If Calderwood had played foster/mackie/duff/young even in position for some of them i would have been calling him a useless fuck. And i know McGhee needs a chance but surly he knows about these players ability's and has seen them enough to know even in position at best they are average. I dont think he will get any more funds now as there were not much going about when Milne was making millions in profit from his homes before the construction industry basically crashed. We cant compete with English second division teams now transfer wise so the only other option as long as we are still regarded as a bigish team in Scotland is to try and get players from other teams like Killie/Hibs/Dundee/Motherwell etc etc. Or cant we compete with them also What i am saying is its basically MONEY that is the problem but failing that use the big team strategy for getting players from other Scottish teams

I would like to see the terms and conditions of their proposal because they could easly get someone to operate one with them having overall control.. They already have Rangers and Celtic TV up and running and i for one don't trust a thing they say..

This in my opinion is a real bad move for all other teams except the old firm. Remember when they wanted money for selling tickets at other grounds (what happened to this btw did the other teams cave in or what) They would find a way to take everything and give the other clubs zero or next to zero.. You could never really get this as other teams might be stronger/weaker than last season and also some of our players have left including our captain. Add the fact some of the players that got a game under Calderwood will/might not get a game with McGhee

If what some of you guys are saying on here is true and Aberdeen knew/sacked calderwood before the last game i would think they would have had this wrapped up by now Unless their original target has said no, Or maybe they are waiting or the cup final is over to appoint Hughes or the original target is also now wanted by Celtic and has not committed until he sees whats happening there..
