Hack journalist turns up at funeral of someone they know nothing about. Takes advantage of grieving family member Writes couple of hundred words which says very little but enough to stir some minor gossip and to hell with how friends and family feel Submits invoice to red top

Con artists or people who get conned?

Finally got to see 'Leviathan' a mere 34 years after being facinated by the videobox in the days when there seemed to be a healty dose of 18 rated horror/ sci-fi films coming onto the market. Cover art and slogan have little to do with the actual film Hoping to get hold of 'Deepstar Six ' (never seen) and 'The Abyss' (last watched circa 1991/92) to complete the 'trilogy' of underwater sci-fi/ horror films release in 1989

Same could be said for Icelandic teams with Viking R take a 2-1 lead to Athens in a couple of weeks. But given SEVCOs recent record perhaps there are just some teams/ Managers that for whatever reason know how to play in Europe?

That newcastle equaliser makes Geoff Hurst's hatrick look legit. That and the Man Utd's winner suggests whoever is training linesmen down south really has decided its just a case of showing up as VAR will do everything else

Tis wikipedia so whether this is accurate is to be confirmed. Below is Ayr's new stand (750 seats with terracing to the front

Arabs getting a similar nosebleed to dons? Hibs could be 3rd soon Meanwhile Ayr now top of championship. Sommerset park now has a roof on all 4 stands. Be interested to see if SPL would insist they bolt seats onto terraces if they came up

Genuine question if anyone happens to know the answer. Are swedish league clubs banned from scouting their opponents and/ or being allowed to watch replays of previous games? This dons season reminds me of pre internet postal fantasy football I used to play (adverts in the back of 'match' and 'shoot') I decided Kevin Keegan Newcastle united tactics were the way to go and for the first 8 weeks of the season my dons team was top of the league freely scoring (4-3-3 led by Billy Dodds, Duncan Shearer, and by some freak lucky transfer Roberto Donadoni). Week 9 the guy who had Lyngby (bizarre league which also included Barcelona and Sheffield Wednesday) beat me 1-0 and then I went on a run of 8 straight defeats no matfer what I tried. It only came to and end when the commodore 64 (I presume) the people running the business used died and suddenly my team vanished and they sent me completely different dons team in another league (lost interest then)

4million to AC Milan is the equivalent of 50k to SPL clubs

'Poldinos', or 'The Jewel in the Crown'. Granted last time I was in the latter was about 15years ago so it might have gone downhill since

Ginola and Taffarel itching to get back into it. Thierry perhaps still has regrets about being rejected (allegedly) by Alex miller/ Roy Aitken

Dons player scored. Bigger shock

Think that one may be lost on the Kid(s)

Do wonder if a much larger crowd would have turned up at Bramall Lane tonight had the game been played tomorrow, saturday or sunday. 6126 out of a possible 31000 (£15 for adults) with the commentators suggesting it may be because it will be -6C at 2am. Nothing to do with a 7pm kick off on a Thursday and the game being on council tv then
-
For all the suggestions about great team spirit/ atmosphere in the dressing room early in the season, this group of players really doesnt seem to cope when things start going wrong.
-
PS for some reason there was a guy with a seriously Pro level TV camera moving about the away end filming the thistle 'ultras' from various positions. Perhaps Danny Dyer is bringing out a new documentry?

Took in todays Morton V Partick match finally ticking Cappielow off the list. Seems the wannabe casual movement among teenagers is gaining momentum with the bizarre spectacle of an attempted battle in the Cowshed between the respective young teams. No cops inside the ground and the stewards being volunteers meant it escalated to the 'fuck we didnt think we'd actually get close enough to fight.....can someone please come and tell us off now?' All calmed down when I presume Morton made a phone call and 2-3 local mums turned up in hi vizes and stood in the gap staring angrily at them On the pitch not having VAR made such a difference making the match actually entertaining despite a fairly strong wind and intermittent monsoon rain. Partick woke up after Morton scored equalising and then looking the more likely only to give up with 5mins to go and then concede in injury time. Post game the young teams tried to start things again but as before werent serious and were easily stopped by 3 cops ie they ran past them onto the bridge but then stopped to wait for one of said coppers to walk up the steps and tell them to stop being wee fannies. And apparently as with SEVCO and tic fans, Thistle's mob also think I look like an undercover cop VID-20241231-WA0010.mp4

Suspect he will still get at least 3 more manager gigs in english leagues before ending up in the national team backroom staff
