Sure i heard the commentator mentioning that this was Bradford's (and possibly Reading's) 5th game in 13 days and the reason it is being played tonight is due to the BBC televising it. Had the BBC decided not to bother they could have played it on Tuesday or Wednesday and it wouldn't have fallen foul of that pathetic UEFA rule regarding TV coverage of domestic games on Champions league nights.
Is anyone else bored of the Champions league/ Europa League?
Thought hibs had shot themselves in the foot there
Live equalised in the 88th minute with their first (and eventual only) shot on goal only to then conceded 60 seconds later
Hibs 5 points clear of McCall's trolls who have 2 games in hand.
Late equaliser for Queen of the South
Blue meanies now 2 points behind Hibs with a game in hand.
Hearts only 4 wins away from the title (possibly 3 if Hibs turn King & co over on the 22nd)
No guarantee of that.
If the top 6 turns out as I predict we should technically have the following fixtures
Celtic (H)
Caley (H)
St Johns (H)
Dundee (A)
Arabs (A)
however before the split we will have played 17 home games and 16 away games and I believe their consensus is to do their best to make it 19 home and 19 away so one of those home games wont happen.
However seeing as it is often a tombolla that picks the games there is also a chance they just flip the above fixture list so the it ends up 3 homes games against Dundee and the Arabs and 3 away games against the rest.
0-0 draw with the Blue Brazils
3 points behind Hibs with 2 games in hand but still have to play yon Hibees at Easter Road and Jambos (home & away)
Hibs on the other hand only have to play Hearts once more .
3 defeats to Celtic haven't cost us a realistic chance of the league
Losing to the Arabs, Hamilton, & St Johnstone and dropping 4 points from Winning positions against St Mirren & Dundee have done that
