  1. PS did some prick let off a smoke bomb after Pawlet's goal?
  2. 12600 in the ground Did they not open up the Jerry Kerr section and going by the highlights the visible gaps in the crowd dont look to add up to 2000 to me and the blurry video from the shed seems to show JK and main stand empty? Also quite handy that Anderson manage to pin Cierzniak for a 3 count as Pawlett headed in the winner
  3. Malta in June for the first time since 1986 Apparently they got round to renovating the Island a couple of years back. Wonder if the cars have seatbelts now?
  4. Take it this is an Alba game? In/Oot - Oot Pre-match - Winding People up in shops by just browsing and generally getting in the way. Then being taken out by a mad Australian girl Match - Wherever said Antipodean takes me Post Match - Braehead Clan vs Fife Flyers Prediction - 1-0 Caley thistle
  5. Him and the guy from Hull both How long before Steve Bruce gets the boot I wonder?
  6. December 18th 1993 Aberdeen 3-1 Kilmarnock My second ever game Joe Miller put the Dons 1-0 just before half time Duncan Shearer ad Lee Richardson scored 2 goals in the space of about 3 mins in the 2nd half to make it 3-0 Bobby Williamson sent off for elbowing Irvine. Cant remember if that was before or after Killie got their consolation.
  7. so extremely unlikely for the 6200 allocation to be taken up I predict this will have a crowd of less than 30000
  8. Slightly related About this point last season Played - 15 Won - 6 Drawn - 6 Lost - 3 Goals for - 20 Goals against - 14 Points 24 (2nd place) --------------------------------- This season Played - 15Won - 8Drawn - 2Lost - 5Goals for - 22Goals against - 14Points 26 (4th Place) ------------------------ I'm sure I recall being generally pissed off with our performance this time last year but we are only 2 points better off now and I feel relatively pleased.
  9. Appears it was only BBC 1 that did it. ITV decided it could wait for 20mins so people could see the latest from 'the jungle'
  10. Nelson Mandela BBC actually interrupted their programmes to announce it

I wonder if they considered offering a 'pick up service' from their distribution centres? If i lived 10 years from the distribution centre (perhaps even further) i wouldnt have problem driving down there as opposed to waiting for a drone. Frankly id be more inclined to steal the drone as soon as it landed.
  12. I presume there will be a 6000 away support allocation offered? (Scottish cup rules certainly used to require min 10% allocation to away supporters) Kick off will of course be switched to 1245pm

Neds will love the chance to test their anti-aircraft pellet guns, fireworks, rocks, Kes etc.
  14. This Hull owner seems to be trying to raise the benchmark set by Romanov http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25174266
  15. something about the emergency services being the '12th man' I think
  16. I tried calling them earlier but it just rang out. Think both clubs would be foolish to deny the potential 'walk up' crowd. I won't know if ill be able to go until about 10am on sunday morning
  17. Appears they might be trying to From the mouth of Cockwomble '"Travel is one of a significant number of factors considered when arranging such fixtures and we are, of course, sympathetic to the unique challenges faced by the Inverness supporters," the SPFL chief executive explained.[/size]"However, other issues such as stadium capacity and facilities, the respective sizes of support which teams will bring and the requirements of broadcasters all have to be considered.'
  18. Did you ask them if they felt UEFA fining their club for the antics was justified? If I was Celtics board id be tempted to send a bill to the green brigade for the UEFA Fine. Or perhaps the divide and conquer - 'Dear fans, as a result of the antics of the green brigade we will have to raise the ticket prices again and wont be signing anyone for a while'
  19. It is only compliant because it is an existing situation. As soon as you demolish one of those stands all the current regulations regarding emergency evacuation, access for emergency & service vehicles, disabled access gathering areas for up to 1000 people so they arent queuing on public roads, structural design, leg room, toilet & catering facilities etc will kick in for whatever is built in its place. Speak to Blootoon red at what is involved for a football stadium. If you live in an old house and you want to make some changes to the layout then everything you do will have to comply with the current building regulations. What you don't touch can remain the same but that new extension will need to be energy efficient, have doors of a certain width, windows of a certain design and size, any bathrooms or kitchens will need to comply with the accessibility regulations.
  20. South Stand holds almost 9000 fans. RDS holds 6100. You cant just close 42% of your stadium and say 'problem solved' Main stand would follow fairly soon after losing another 3400 and the merkland isnt in great nick either (all 3 built on foundations not ideally suited for sandy soil) You close one and the domino effect will start as you have set a precident And Tyrant it is possible but the rebuilt stadium complying with all the current regulations would have a capacity of about 12000-14000 with no room for future expansion. I personally dont see a problem with a smaller stadium given out average crowd is borderline 10000 but the Club and so many others would see it as a step back
