  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJtX52D3CeA Most 'compact' world cup ever? Water taxis? One of their Vids even has 'just 30mins from Bahrain suggesting they are relying on their neighbours to take up the accommodation slack. German, English, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Turkish etc all within 1-2hrs of each venue in hot confined areas getting hassled by local plod when found to be drinking in public squares etc? Well they all get on so well nothing can go wrong there. Im starting to look forward to it
  2. Has anyone got the actual details of their bid other than these new fancy stadiums which they will apparently be flogging off to Africa afterwards? Qatar is a 1/7th the size of Scotland with population of about 2million (only 250k citizens apparently. The rest are foreign workers) with about 70% of that living in one city. Their planned stadium capacity for the tournament is just over 600k (Almost 1/3 of the population) They will need to have Hotel rooms for about double if not more than that aswell as restaurants, transport infrastructure all built with cheap foreign 'slave' labour. Wonder how they will handle 20-30000 England fans invading their country plus how many other thousand dutch, german, french, italians etc The place is going to be a ghost town akin to those recession hit developments in Spain come March 2023
  3. Presume they will also be paying FIFA's legal bills when the Australians, Japanese, Yanks etc take turns to sue them
  4. Get her to wax and it will look more than alright
  5. Anderson and Mackie Scored from it against Dundee (Mackies goal only just crossed the line so the ref missed it but it was given by the Linesman) Match is on Red Tv for those who like to waste cash http://www.afcheritage.org/matches/fixtures/mreport.cfm?fixture_id=132&season=2001-02&squad=Senior
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but is 'cliping' not telling on someone who is doing something that isnt actually illegal or dangerous but is against the rules, just so you can get them into trouble. Last time I checked vandalism of private property and releasing fireworks/ flares in a public place other than as part of a regulated display or as a distress signal were illegal and dangerous so its only cliping in the eyes of the fuckwits who do it
  7. Did they not announce how many away fans there were? or is that something only St Mirren do and St Johnstone do?
  8. Well you have to sell it to the yanks
  9. In/Oot: OOT Pre-match: Escorting a young lady up a mountain Match: Yon mountain Post Match: Hopefully off the mountain Prediction: 1-0 Partick (Yes thats right you heard me!)
  10. On the other hand it does show how thick footballers are that they will willingly sign for them. In other news im looking forward to my new job at woolworths. Im gonna stick around there for a couple of months and then get a better job with Enron.
  11. I do wonder if anyone at SFA HQ is looking at what Belgium has become since their epic failure at Euro 2000 (first host team not to make it past the group stages of a tournament) Scraped through the group stages of World cup 2002 with an aging squad then got done by Brazil with ease Failed to Qualify for Euro 2004, 2008 & 2012 Failed to qualify for World cup 2006, 2010 Now after more than a decade of development they have a squad with an average age of 26 filled with players being sought after by all the top leagues for massive transfer fees. Wonder if Scotland could ever hope to achieve the same thing but I doubt it. The SFA will most likely revert back to the 'well they have a population of 11 million to choose from.......we only have the 70 english clubs
  12. The wee bitchfest about god in the comments is very entertaining
  13. Soooo basically they've dusted off a plan from about 20 years ago but have now added in shifting the railway station. I can only presume moving the railway station would allow them to build that shopping mall the city is in desperate need of
  14. The important word in yon statement is 'currently' By all means Pittodrie could stand for another 100 years but as to how much of it is open for spectators come 2113 is another matter. Of course the other factor is how many people will continue to bother turning up as it slowly falls into disrepair.
  15. oooh is this the early stages of the fabled 'cross rail' dream they were playing with about 12years ago? Of are the locals so lazy they cant be arsed walking up bridge street?
  16. 4,897 brave souls turned up to watch this 'cracking cup tie'
  17. If this goes to penalties http://i.imgur.com/B77fx.gif
  18. well at least we have kept a clean sheet....so far
