  1. 30000 turned up at Hampden to see them scrap a 1-0 against the leagues only Amateur Club back in December 19000 of them have gone AWOL for today's 4-1 win. Anyone taking bets on how many will turn up at Ibrox for the upcoming Clyde & Peterhead games?
  2. So did Barcelona in the last round. Personally I was pissed off the ref didn't start dishing out yellow cards to the Barcelona team for the way they hounded him when he didn't stop play for the 2 Barcelona boys running into each other and then seemingly demanded PSG give the ball back to them rather than take the resulting corner. Really hope PSG stuff them in the 2nd leg
  3. Barcelona making steady progress to the top of my 'teams I cannot stand' league table by apparently lodging a complaint against the referee for his performance on Tuesday night. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22037418
  4. The gift that at the moment just keeps on giving http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22035246 Rangers are facing a legal bill after a panel judged they should pay the expenses of five former players they were in contract disputes with. Sone Aluko, Kyle Lafferty, Steven Naismith, Jamie Ness and Allan McGregor all quit the club when it was placed into liquidation last year. The players refused to transfer their contracts from the old company to the new one, which the club challenged. The panel says Rangers should pay all legal bills relating to the dispute. The panel was established and facilitated under the Scottish Football Association's Articles of Association after agreement was reached by the club and the players over who should represent each side of the dispute, with a chair appointed to review both side's claims. However, the SFA is not directly involved in the arbitration process and has no influence over any decisions taken by the panel.
  5. Because we cant afford to invite a decent club and no one would bother turning up to watch it
  6. New Affluent worker Sure my mum would like the 'working class background' bit
  7. Quick check of the blue square premier Newport and Wrexham currently in the playoff spots and both still in the chance of the title Could be 4 welsh clubs in the main english league set up again. Cardiff potentially 3 wins away from promotion to the premiership. Might put The hordes into meltdown if all that happens
  8. I reckon people will be surprised Got a feeling it will be the arabs that take the last top 6 position
  9. I'd like to think their recent run of form will now go from bad to worse now the 'job has been done' Will they be professional enough to get a result infront of their hordes at Hampden next saturday? Will they still be 'selling' out Ibrox for the 3 remaining home games?
  10. The government will never admit that because it would undermine so many local authority planning policies (even though it would actually be a great get out clause and potential for mudslinging in non tory council areas Glasgow for example: 5 years ago you could take an office housed in a 5 storey former townhouse and convert it into as many flats as you could fit. Now they will only allow a max of 3 and will push you to actually make the townhouse into one massive unit. We have had several applications rejected for one bedroom houses & flats across scotland because the local planning policy was to attract families etc. And of course all those social houses they say they want built? well a one bedroom house or flat isn't worth as much as a 2 Bedroom so developers aren't so keen on them it reduces their opportunities to make cash.
  11. Well that's us safe from relegation for another season Relegation and Championship to be decided before the split?
  12. We cant have summer football because all our clubs would suffer in the last rounds of the euro competitions you know. After all the spl is a major force in world football you know and no teams ever won a european trophy playing in a summer season...... apart from say Zenit St Petersburg Dynamo Kiev (twice) Dynamo Tblissi (back in the days of USSR) IFK Gothenburg (Four times) CSKA Moscow Shakhtar Donesk Not forgetting Malmo reaching the European cup final in 1979

    Tax

The only year I wasn't taxed on a bonus was 2010 when we got a personal cheque from the company Believe the only things on yer wage slip that cant be taxed are expenses such as fuel etc.
  15. Surely I cant be the only one who wasn't surprised? And I've seen us chuck away 2 goal leads at Celtic park before
  16. Make a penalty kick only worth 1 point and lets see what happens to the game.
  17. We didnt lose to motherwell. Although we may as well have
  18. good. Dont begrudge St Mirren a trophy. Let the hearts implosion gather more
