  1. or if no-one bought those tickets from then, a shit crowd but with some cash in advance
  2. Ive watched this a number of times and whilst i find it amusing the thing that is niggling at me is how desparate the boy was to get back on the train. If Id been chucked off like that the last thing Id do would be to try to get back on particularly in such an aggressive (or desparate way). I hope he was just a we ned who wasnt used to people taking action but at the same time I hope we dont see a news story in a couple of days of some boy turning up on a back road to Polmont with his throat cut
  3. Without hacking the club system the only way i can see anyone 'defrauding' the club on that one is to use the old 'im not a student but ill claim I am' or some misguided fools may buy up lots of tickets at the £10 price and then try to sell them onto folk at a higher price prior to match day. Stick a maximum number per person or household or credit card or something but people will always find a way around it. However since we are not barcelona or Man United I really cant see touts being that big an issue (although aberdonians are supposed to be tight bastards)
  4. Im still wondering why the club have not tried the same system the transport companys offer ergo the earlier you buy your ticket the cheaper it is They are selling tickets for the remaining home game online right now and I presume I could walk into the ticket office or call them up and buy them too? If you buy your ticket for the game say 8 weeks in advance or earlier then there is a flat rate of £10 for adults and kids for £5 for all areas of the ground. 7 weeks till the game it goes up to £12 & £6 6 weeks up to £14 & £7 5 weeks till kick off £16 & £8 4 weeks till kick off £18 & £9 3 weeks till kick off £20 & £10 (adjust for merkland prices) then with 2 weeks to go its back to the gate prices Yes I know there will be issues with the season tickets etc but im pretty sure these could be ironed out. perhaps have special offers like firends fares (4 adult tickets for £40) Ive yet to hear of a football team anywhere trying this but I think it should be looked into. Might at least start getting football back in competition with the cinema or theme parks as a family afternoon out.

not being able to afford something does not always stop people buying it especially when they are stupid enough to buy it because its apparenlty fashionable
  6. Just seen the highlights and whilst we are bad I think there needs to be a mention of how bad the BBC open all mikes team are. As i recall the reporter made out that Fyvies cross had been dropped into the net but for some reason an offside flag had been raised so the goal didnt stand. With that in mind I thought Fyvie might be excused the red card given such a strange decision and the fact 2 points were at stake. Turns out the 2 incidents were at least a minute apart. Journalists are getting worse
  7. the follow up to that was Locke apparenlty isnt being paid
  8. Apparenlty Chick Young got a bit of a kicking from the BBC because he announced on air that Gary Locke was being paid while the Players werent. Not sure when he did this but apparenlty the entire hearts team bus heard it either on the way to a game or a training session hence why Locke was fucking raging
  9. will scotland be shut? or just a WH Smiths and a tourist information office?

  11. so their equaliser wasnt the preverbial wankfest 'open all mikes' made it out to be? Brown forgeting goalkeepers can use their arms for the second week?
  12. Knew the EE was bad but I didnt really believe they just used news story templates.

I wouldnt say its necessarily against Apple I personally have a chip on my shoulder for anyone who buys smartphones, tablets etc just to show off. Interesting that Motorola just won a court case against apple illegally using their technology in the Iphone. Trouble ahead for all the flash bastards?
  14. shuts pittodrie? or just the reception and club shop?
  15. hopefully sally gets a kicking too since hes now publicly slagged off jim McCluskey who was chairing the hearing Always liked Jim McCluskey ever since he gave that penalty in Roy Aitkens first game in charge Gerry Macnee's wonderful commentary 'well theres certainly cont-ra-versy here in this second half. Rangers have a penalty claim turned down at one end.....and theres one given to aberdeen at the other'
  16. Cant we just have him back permanantly for free He can join the ever increasing list of our players that fuck off to englandshire and end up coming back sharpish. Only one I can think of at the moment that hasnt been linked with a return is Barry Nic.
