So what price another 4-0 win on a sunny day?
Confirms interest is one of the classic lazy journalism techniques
' Oi Craig, if you were offered 'insert player here' on a free for fuck all wages would you sign him'
'Id certainly be interested
BOOM thats next weeks back pages sorted
The only occasions I did something like that was belgium vs Scotland in the 2002 world cup qualifiers. Set the video and went out.
It just wasnt the same and i ended up just fast forwarding through it. 2-0 defeat
You should try watching the Brazilian league. Perhaps I have been unlucky but all the games ive seen in that have been more stop start than a game of american football. All dives and over acting etc. You watch that and you wonder how Brazil ever achieve anything in the national game
The Argentinian league on the other hand
In/Oot: In
Pre match: Train with some cunts (hopefully that will remain plural or it will become very expensive). Then probably some pub in the centre
Match: Wherever said cunts have season tickets
Post Match: Some pub (perhaps frank macdougalls again ) and then train back to the weeg.
Prediction: 1-1
Not really a transfer but Davie Weir just signed on for another year at Ibrox
Seemingly agreed a fee to get Cueller back with only personal terms the stumbling block
Theres no such thing as technically still contracted to anyone
He either is or he isnt and given hes on the official sites squad list at Number 11 id say that means he is.
So if no one comes in for him and he isnt prepared to buy himself out of his contract then hes there to be utilised.
Think they must have repeated it several times as I caught it at 2am.
The dead peasants thing didnt really shock me mainly because of the what he brought up in 'Sicko' but the whole private reform school was another matter. The fact they allowed a situation where the company made more money the more children they locked up and longer they kept them locked up. Then took the decision as too how long their sentances were out of the hands of the justice system and put it in the hands of the staff so kids who were supposed to be in for 2months ended up there for a year or more. That sort or thing is straight out of the 18th century particularly the bribed judge(s). Dont recall if these kids were given an apology let along compensation.
Perhaps its a case of him not fancying them?
Hes just been sacked by a club for refusing to accept 30% of his agreed salary for the 7th straight month when hearts say 'hey come up here for a trial'
Heads up there and thinks 'hey this isnt too bad...hmm dont know much about this team so ill google them when I get back to the hotel.'
Hes impressed with their History in the Tennants 6s etc but having been burned by his last club he does some digging into their off-field history.
He finds out what their debt it
He finds stories about players and backroom staff not recieving their pay on time on a couple of occasions.
He gets to see the whole Craig Thomson debacle.
Finally he sees press reports suggesting he was on trial because the Zander Diamond deal didnt go through
IM SECOND CHOICE BEHIND ALBERT STEPTOE!!!
