  2. Dont think so because barely anyone was watching
  3. England U21s (the alleged no.1 ranker U21 team in the world) knocked out of the Euro championships thanks to 89th & stoppage time goals by the czechs
  4. Ibrox isnt in Govan anyhoo id say this is good news. Rangers new chairmen is more interested in building another paisley road west retail park than he is clearing their debt or buying them new players
  5. Id like to think that would be a £1m switch that includes say Eidur Gudjohnsen or Mark Schwarzer coming north But then again it is 'the mail'
  6. Perhaps purchasing some shorts should be first on the things to do
  7. If he does we at least have him over a barrel in the negotiations.
  8. I wouldnt say the Championship is a step down from the current eredivisie

I thought the Hangover part 2 was terrible. To me it seemed to be more 'fuck thats just horrible' instead of 'that looks like a right laugh' Zach Galifianakis's character also comes across as someone who needs locking up for his and everyone elses safety. The first film the humour came from his ignorance of the real world and the consequences of his actions but now its more sinister. Tragically I suspect there will be a 3rd one or a spin-off series featuring 'Alan' that will go straight to DVD over here

Are your friends so irritating you can only tolerate their company when halfcut? Or vice versa?
  13. Bit of a shame Montenegro fuked up against Bulgaria
  14. I disagree on moving the away fans to the merkland. Apart from it being a complete police/ stewarding nightmare (More than half the turnstiles for the 8-9000 capacity south stand are on merkland road. That would rule out home fans using Merkland road and a large chunk of king street to get there) the low roof I suspect would have the same accoustics as 'the shed' at tannadice boosting noise for all away fans. Plus it only holds just over 3000 so the sudkurve or part of the main stand would need to be given over to the Old Firm. The view from the current away section is pretty shite and almost 1/3 of it is open to the elements so as far as im concerned they can stay there. The family section needs shifted and quick. Im fed up of seeing us score at that end only for a completely shite response from the fans. Makes me even sicker when I watch Hewitts goal in 83 and see what is used to be like. see this vid for an example. You'd think the celtic & United games were friendlies looking at the merkland
  15. They spent the season before last staving off winding up orders from the taxman and those same rumours were going about before they lost to Blackpool. Debt was apparently 66million as of August 2010. Risdale seems to be the kiss of death to a football club. Leeds - Adminstration and successive relegations - Debt up to 103million Barnsley - Apparenlty saved them from administration (temporarily) only to leave them on the brink of liquidation Cardiff - Doubles their debt to 66million and fucks off leaving them threatened by administration and winding up orders Plymouth - Adminstration, staff and players going unpaid, winding up orders from the taxman and relegation to league 2. Pity he didnt fancy a move to Govan or Parkhead
  16. I do enjoy football Bobby. What i cannot stand is the media over hyping every single detail about a match which for me thanks to this wonderful champions league bullshit is getting to be as unique as a Man United vs Liverpool/ Arsenal/ Chelsea league match. And 9 times out of 10 that hype ends in complete tedium
  17. Just wish someone would punch tyldsley. His commentary is borderline Partridge
  18. My prediction is it has been so overhyped (particularly because it is the last game of the season) that it will be a dire 1-0 affair. The goal will be a dire shot that takes a massive deflection but the commentators will still find some way of making out whoever scored be it rooney, messi, Villa, berbatov etc knew exactly what they were doing
  19. so has anyone filled out the questionaire yet? Think it was a bit 'misguided' for the BBC to post a direct link to it on that story
  20. 'Excuse me sir but this is the quiet section. If you wanted to sing you should have purchased your ticket for the appropriate area. Please be quiet or we shall have to ask you to leave'
  21. Sure I heard him interviewed on Sportsound saying he has already signed for the arabs
  22. just over 6000 people turn up and they put approx 3000 of them in the stand behind one goal This tournament ROCKS!!!!!!
  23. Eire 5-0 Northern Ireland Looking at the line up im thinking the North dont give a fuck about this tournament
  24. The motivation to keep their jobs would be a good start. Less fans = less money for the club = less wages for them when it comes to contract re-negotiations or perhaps no contract at all and given the way they have been playing only a handful (Fyvie etc) might have anyone bigger than us sniffing about. The inevitable free transfer to montrose, brechin with a proper job on the side is a calling. If the small firm I work for sat back and relied on the blind faith of our ever decreasing group of regular clients just giving us money for doing a half assed job then we'd have gone bust long ago. NO we had to get out there and seek new work, show what we could do and attract new business and investment. Our players are employess of the club and have as much responsibility for its well being as milne and Co Scottish football is no different and this over reliance on television money and the fear our governing bodies seems to have that doing things that are good for our own domestic game will makes us look silly is going to be the death of it. We need to accept our game is not what it used to be and start making the best of things instead of desperetly clinging onto the ankles of the spain, Germany, England etc
  25. We could always start humming the theme tunes to North tonight or reporting scotland. The team needs to start playing like actual footballers and not a bunch of little ned fucks who dont care what the fans think so long as they get their £1000 a week and prepubescent aberdonian tarts will suck them off in Soul or Espionage. The SPL needs to knock at least 25% off the ticket prices Far as im concerned its up to the players and club to get the bigger crowds back at pittodrie. My days of blind faith cash shredding are over and I dont think im the only one.
