  1. Not when it means you have to live in Aberdeen Has the look of a man who knows hes just moved to a more northerly and slightly colder bench
  2. 54 games in 3 seasons for 4 different clubs (8 goals) Injury prone Either too thick or stubborn to realise rangers didnt want him or is another agent lead mercenary. Why do I get the feeling we will be linked with Kirk Broadfoot in the next few months
  3. Is it possibel to purchase any teams shirt other than chelsea, man united, Arsenal or Liverpool in 'general' sports shops anymore? I remember the Inverness Intersport having most if not all of the Scottish premier teams (shirts, shorts and various merchandise) back in about 1994 yet Ive not seen a scottish club anywhere in the last few years except JJB sports (and thats only the old firm). The first dons kit I ever had was purchased by my grandmother in London back in about 1988. Think all scottish clubs are missing a trick these days but then again I dont know how successful it used to be letting Greaves etc sell their stuff. The internet has a lot to answer for. I wonder how long it will be before clubs dont even bother with shops anymore. Just have warehouses and a couple of blokes to stick the stamps on.
  4. Thought this was a thread about the Globes
  5. love the way that article changes from 'hes going to celtic' to 'theres been interest from celtic' Think mulgrew has really shot himself in the foot. Hears he could go to celtic so bumps up his wages demands even further at Sheff United. They say sod off and then Celtic do the same (I hope) and its back down to earth with a bigger bang for the man who doesnt give a fuck
  6. googled the boy seems he is remembered for 3 things 1) Scoring a the winning goal in the 2006 LDV vans trophy final 2) Missing a penalty in the 2006 league one Play off final 3) Having a figure similar to Bobby Williamson and Gary Bollan in their final playing days
  7. I believe we offered kids season tickets for about £10 in Skovdahls 3rd season (possibly even free with an adult ticket). As well as discounts in all other areas of the stadium, all lead with the infamous 'join the red army' advert. And season tickets sales went up and our average attendance was over 14000. but come the following season the club was greeted with moaning and criticism from the fans for having the audacity to put the prices back up to their usual rates and the average attendance dropped to 11774. Being the miserable cúnt ill say this may increase motherwells attendance by a couple of hundred for next season only for it to drop right back down when the offer ends.
  8. I personally dont blame AFC for other teams success due to lack of cost cutting. The buck stops with UEFA and their Pussyfooting. So much talk about the clubs being punished for their terrible Finances but instead of coming down hard on the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid or closer to home, Hearts and Rangers, they pick on clubs that wont just tell them to fuck off. Like ordering Brechin city to destroy 'the hedge' becuase their pitch isnt wide enough to host UEFA cup games. The apparent 'silverware that clubs have won since we started the cost cutting about 14years ago Dundee utd - 1 Scottish cup Hearts - 2 Scottish cups and 1 second place finish (their debt is 3times that of ours and rising) Kilmarnock - 1 Scottish cup Livingston - 1 League cup (Financially fucked and now just promoted back to the 2nd division) Hibs - 1 League cup All other trophys went to the old firm. Now if Platini finally grows some balls and starts hitting clubs from Italy, Spain, England, Scotland (and any other places full of debt ridden teams) with sanctions and the AFC situation doesnt improve then Ill jump on the bandwagon
  9. Id give him a testimonial just for goal at Parkhead in the scottish cup. Whats another pointless friendly against a mediocre english reserve team?
  10. Oh dear god hes following Alex Millers managerial tactics Didnt work 13years ago and it wont work now
  11. I would prefer people think before they used the terms 'legend', & 'legendary' AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Black sabbath can all be described as legendary. Bunch of cunts in boilersuits and masks cannot
  12. Are you suggesting Gene Simmons & sting are not celebrities? (PS no they havent died)
  13. Slipknot bassist Paul Gray just pegged it Apparenlty Slipknot are now being referred to as a 'Legendary' US Metal Band
  14. Are you seriously asking that? ??? one situation will see him potentially make money one situation will see him lose money. which do you think is which?
  15. Only knew 3 teams in scottish football until I was about 12 and all the prik and cunts at my school supported rangers or celtic. Aberdeen seemed to be the team that pissed them off and my dad worked there so more chance of getting to see them. And you cant switch sides once you have enlisted in the great war against cunts so 18 years later im stuck
  16. Regent bar? Seem to recall random hibs guy storming and aiming a random punch at anything without realising someone had slammed the door shut behind him. Anything turned out to be small kid to which his short stocky dad 'had a word'. Only time in my life ive taken a real interest in finding a fire exit.
  17. Given he decided Kerr was a good choice Im sure the players dont care what he thinks
  18. Or erm...just found out it was Newcastle Town and not United that wanted to sign me.....and my only other options seem to be Grimsby, Darlington or Barnet so anychance i can have that contract you offered a few months back
  19. Will be to do with a local planning policy to discourage people from using their cars or to 'carpool' (1500 spaces could equal 7500fans in an ideal world). Council have pulled this trick with RGUs new Garthdee campus - Something like a max of 30parking spaces for each new uni building and then introducing residents only parking in the surrounding streets with small sections of 'voucher parking limited to a max of 6hrs a day' for the students or anyone else for that matter. All the councils are doing this now (we have a client who built 2 new office blocks in Newbridge outside edinburgh, and were limited to max 60spaces. They have plans to build 3 more on the same site and are now being restricted to 10 spaces for each block. Nearest Railway stations are both 5miles away and there are very few buses in that the site is 20seconds from the M9. Apparenlty the Reebok stadium only has 2000 parking spaces (28723 capacity). However it does have the advantage of having a railway stadium 400 yards away
  20. After he asked me the score for the 4th time I ask if he was alright He then proceeded to tell me the story of his day and how his son was the fan, he was more interested in the gambling side. I asked where he was from and he suddenly reaches back, grabs my hand very tight, says 'FOXES MAN' then proceeded to kiss my hand several times. ??? He disappeared at halftime but then came back just after the second half started looking for his son's carrier bag, Called him a 'lucky boy' several times then vanished again. His son then reappeared a few mins later and watched a fair bit of the 2nd half leaning on the advertising board. Good luck to anyone on his train back to stonehaven
