  1. Was a bit grim when i did the tour. Tour guide was trying to wax lyrical about the whitecaps but then took a bigger dislike to me when I asked how the Queen of the South boy they had on loan was settling in.
  2. Like in Vancouver? It is slightly easier with 'indoor' stadiums
  3. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/59645936 Personally dont have any objections to reducing the capacity but I'd like to see walk-ups being allowed to buy a ticket at the turnstiles (cash or card) rather than having to go to a ticket office which inevitably has a long queue of people picking up tickets they bought online. Will be astounded if the stadium looks anywhere close to the most recent CGI images
  4. Probably misheard but I seem to recall hearing mention on 'Off the Ball' of the Dons being interested in Tony Watt now he's announced he's not signing a new deal with Motherwell beyond the summer
  5. From my experience of Canada if I had to pick a place Id chose Quebec City (possibly Canada's answer to Falkirk). Why is Falkirk more appealing to ANYONE on this planet than Vancouver As everyone is unique there could be an endless list of answers but some suggestions could be what Rico said plus Its much cheaper It's midway between two reasonable sized cities so you have good options for work with reasonable commmute, close to where major concerts happen, close to two international airports, good rail links, close to the Trossachs Weather is more predictable As its a smaller place the crime levels are lower Donald Trump doesnt have a hotel there Less likely to encouter a bear or wolf should you decide to go for a walk in the countryside You might have no desire at all to go anywhere near Canada. You might be a Falkirk Fan Anyway the new manager bounce doesnt seem to be happening for old Mr Rennie
  6. I have been to vancouver in the winter hence why I said it can be grim. Not as Grim as Montreal mind but still Grim Reminded me a lot of Aberdeen in the winter except it was much wetter.
  7. One of the most expensive cities in the world when yer unemployed and yer visa is expiring.....or Falkirk Anyway Vancouver is quite grim in the winter
  8. Caley Thistle back to the top of the Championship after beating Killie Not been keeping tabs on this but seems the top 5 is pretty much sewn up. Spectacular is Arbroath ended up in the SPFL especially if it was at the expense of Kilmarnock HOME AWAY POS. 10. So where is the racist element of this? The angles ive seen (SPFL youtube channel) it looks a like a blatant dive by Ryan Kent. Sportsound commentary team (except Liam McLeod) seemed adamant it was a 'stonewaller' and that includes one who had a TV replay, but then the question was asked as to why John Beaton took an age to award it and it was pointed out if there is doubt you cannot give such a decision
