  1. This was the first league point under Skovdahl's reign Love the 'lazy' finish by Jess for the first goal. Bizarre thing is the official stats give Winters goal to ricky Gilles??
  2. Personally what comes to mind for me was his celebration after Andy Dow's winnder in the 2000 Scottish cup final Managed to meet him after the 5-1 home win over Kilmarnock the week before the final and got him to sign a red-final cartoon of him as an escape artist with stewart Milne as his 'glamourous assistant too The first league goal of his management
  3. Least they do it in a clubs private tv channel. Not like Jock Brown with Sevco on Setanta sports back in 2005
  4. In fact its a double fuck up as the last 3 games at Tannadice finished 1-0 (2 dons wins, 1 arabs)
  5. Thats a fuck up by the afc site. Game was at Pittodrie and Dons were the winners
  6. No they didnt 1-0 win for the dons (March 2nd 2016) - Simon Church goal According to AFC Heritage the last time the arabs beat the dons 4-2 was at Pittodrie back in the Calderwood era How many times did the globes smacked you on the head on your last trip to Dundee?
  7. Steve Clarke must be reading this board
  8. All the bullshit worrying about playing the norwegians Republic Oot NIRN through
  9. Some cracking games in the league cup tonight, and the BBC have pushed the boat out and included goalscorers and live text unlike yesterday Brora, Kelty and Montrose giving Brazil 1970, St Johnstone and County a run for their money Even Brechin seem to be giving it a go against the arabs
  10. McKenna gets a new manager at Forest Ex Brighton boss Chris Hougton
  11. Gary Woods (ex County, Hamilton) in as short term cover for Cerny who is apparenlty injured
  12. Marley's namesake gets a hat trick to bring on one of those 'bizarre' scorelines Englandshire seems to be barking on about Everton to get their first title since 1987?
  13. Injured. Wonder if the English lower league hatchetmen have started early?
  14. Well hes off to Hospital now.
  15. Watkins is only here until January remember.
  16. It does help when you get into the Europa league qualifiers after losing in the champions league. That way you are put in a separate pot and generaly play the champions from the other smaller nations who lost out in the champs league, and have a much bigger chance of avoiding cup winners and 5th placed teams from Italy, Holland, Spain, Englandshire etc etc. Also the Faroes team got a bye to this round due to their opposition falling foul of Covid.
  17. So the Swiss just effectivelly told their equivalent of UKIP/ Tory ERG to GTF and have voted to keep freedom of movement of EU citizens 63-37% The SVP (Swiss People's Party) are the largest party in the Swiss Government and have been pushing to 'take back control of its borders' for years and were pissed off in 2014 when their narrow referndum victory on bringing in Immigration quotas was rendered effectivelly worthless by the time the Swiss Parliament was done with it. I'm wondering if their citizens have been looking at the clusterfuck of whats happening in the UK and put some real thought into the consequences of their actions?
  18. Don't think there is much going on with the new Stadium but found this are hearing about it on Off The Ball. FC Emmen's Stadium Entrance. They are sponsored by a Sex Toy Company
  19. I'd like to think the players and coaches etc will use this as a learning experience Assuming that McKenna was set to be in the team but was pulled out about lunchtime today when Notts Forest came up with the goods the gameplan the team had worked on either completely went out the window or was dealt a significant blow and the inability of all to adapt to this is needs to be addressed. Yes it was one of the clubs top players but we were playing the team at the bottom of the league. How often do players injure themselves in the warm-up, and suddenly the tactics have to adapt/ change? On the other hand this may have been another example of team spectacularly disintigrating at home like when Ross County & St Johnstone stuck 4 & 5 past them a few seasons ago.
  20. Can we really claim the Dons had a longer journey home that Motherwell? Stavanger to Aberdeen is just over an hour on the plane Motherwell on the other hand had to drive from Coleraine to Belfast (About 45miles I think and from memory the road between Coleraine and Belfast is a bit like the A96), then get the plane to Glasgow followed by another 30miles back to Fir Park. Back at Uni I remember a Norwegian girl and I would leave our respective flats in Aberdeen at the same time and even with the waiting around at the airport she would still be back at her family's house in Stavanger at least 30mins before I made it back to mine in the West Highlands
  21. Connah's Quay Nomads boss has said he was told by the club to 'turn a blind eye' to any players who were showing symptoms before their europa league game last night. 3 players said they felt unwell but played anyway and are now self isolating. They lost the game but be interested to see if UEFA and/or the FAW take any action. Also wonder if Dimamo Tblissi would take legal action if they ended up having to forfeit their 3rd qualifying tie with KI (Faroe Islands) due to Covid?
  22. And not even being ranked high enough to be seeded (Currently ranked 81st in Europe. Dons are currently 177th)
  23. St Johnstone on a 1 year contract apparently
