  1. Greg Halford in to replace him? Appears he hasn't played since last season https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Halford https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/loneliness-jobless-footballer-what-happened-15313506

  3. Mark Thomas - CHECK UP OUR NHS @ 70 April at the Glasgow Tron
  4. Caledonian Stadium, Inverness Wonder if they are trying to 'help' a Scottish team' to win it, especially given there are no trains between Inverness and Perth that weekend
  5. Just seen the replay of the Killie Goalie's red card. May as well just hand Sevco the trophy and get it over with

So hollywood has decided its time to remake 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' with Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson taking the Michael Caine & Steve Martin Roles Comparison 1988 2019
  7. Was it like his 'spat' with Paxman on Election night 2005?
  8. Goal and red card for Brown. I presume the second yellow ill be for jumping into the Tic fans behind the goal?
  9. Connah's Quay Nomads just got through to the Irn Bru Cup Final with Ross County. I wonder where the final of this 'frankenstein's creature' of a tournament will be held (Palmerston?)
  10. Not one of the quater finals has a 3pm Saturday kick off Sat 2nd March - 17:15 Hibs Vs Tic Sun 3rd March - 13:30 Dons vs Sevco Sun 3rd March - 15:30 Arabs Vs (Caley or County) Mon 4th March - 19:05 Thistle vs Jambos
  11. I'd like to think Ferguson's Dad & Uncle will pay a visit to McGregor's house and 'have words'
  12. Saw that story and personally object to the 'cheating the taxman' angle. Finally marrying your partner of 40years 2 days before you peg it so she actually inherits your estate rather than losing 40% to the Government is not 'cheating the taxman'
  13. 14. BBC footage temporarily brought from the Mole camera infront of the Rusty Nail billboard.
  15. 'The Second Coming' by John Niven May actually have gotten me back into reading much like Brookmyres ' A Big Boy did it and ran away' did about 15 years ago. Possibly cosidered cheating but also been using 'Audible' whilst working and currently on the 3rd 'Mortal Engines' book. Didn't see the film but feeling a bit annoyed that it looks like Peter Jackson & co have blown the chance to make it into a movie franchise. Chris Mooney's Darby McCormick series is also pretty good. Very Gruesome imagination for his serial Killers and to date the only time I can recall a Camel Spider being used as a torture method
  16. 3 Game Ban. (2 for Wednesday night, 1 for it being his 'second' league red card this season). Presume McKenna just gets the 2 games?

  18. Its on BBC Alba now. Cosgrove just jumped for a header and when he landed the hamstring seemed to go. Sat down for a bit then hobbled off the pitch. Lewis's post collision from TV pictures you'd think he would be spitting out teeth but its a nice boxers eyebrow cut.
  19. Seems that VAR in this season's FA Cup is only used at Premiership team's home grounds, hence why it wasn't used in yesterday's match at Millwall. For me that makes a mockery of the English FA's experiment especially given they showed replays of the handball on the big screen in the stadium. I would be surprised if Millwall (English Championship) wouldn't be able to install it for a one off match
  20. So the 'Gossip' from the press is Lennon had wanted to sign Christie as part of a deal for John McGinn to the Tic. Bookies supposedly have Strachan as favourite to take over
  21. Oh its one of those projects is it? They are fun....unless you are in 2nd year when they are a pain in the arse cutting into your socialising time and requiring 3 straight allnighters to get something on the wall before you are ripped apart by tutors but still given a C so you pass anyway. Ah well I look forward to seeing it on Urban Realm in a few weeks, perhaps even in new scientist with this magical ability to have multiple people occupy the exact same space at the same time and still comply with current Scottish Building & Fire regulations. I am intrigued that adapting (or perhaps even moving) the RDS is not mentioned in your post but maybe thats part of a bigger secret your fishing partner is keeping from you
  22. I don't know much about the guy but I am sceptical about this 'he's a winner' statement. As a player yes I can see it but as a manager his only success came at the Tic where I think even Mark McGhee would have won trophies given the resources. At Bolton he was perhaps unlucky (or perhaps naive) to go to a team with the shadow of administration hanging over them but in the 2 seasons he was there it was relegation battles and i believe a few fallings out with players and suspensions due to comments to officials. Back up to Hibs he came and perhaps he was fortunate to find them in a division which had finally gotten rid of Hearts & Sevco. Good first 2 seasons and strongish start this season but once again we hear stories of fallings out with players and there have been other incidents coupled with a significant dip in form You can shout & ball and make all the demands you like but for me you can't be a winner (or a leader) if the people you are leading don't respect you and in the end will not follow you or give you what you want Mr Lennon reminds me a bit of John Collins
  23. This I have to see as the laws of physics would appear to be being bended or broken unless someone has managed to do a deal to buy the flats behind the South & Merkland Stands. Can you provide a link to the proposals or perhaps even name the Architects in question?
