Wish I could say the same. However I can only recall one scene from 'attack of the clones' and the ending of 'revenge of the sith' All 3 were shocking IMO. Almost as shocking is Lucas deciding to fuck around with the originals with cheap CGI. The original puppets were far more realistic. I think I'll wait till January before attempting to see it. Now the 'Eddie the Eagle' biopic on the other hand......
  4. go to this thread Read BlooToon Red's posts and if yer bored read mine
  5. UEFA Rules are not the sticking point. Modern Scottish Building regulations and stadium design requirements are.
  6. Petrofac cup final shifted to Hampden this season. I feel a recruitment drive is required to swell the Blue Toon's support on April 10th.
  7. Reynolds - Broken Nose Shinnie - Stitches for head wound
  8. Finals Draw Group A France Romania Albania Switzerland Group B England Russia Wales Slovakia Group C Germany Ukraine Poland Northern Ireland Group D Spain Czech Republic Turkey Croatia Group E Belgium Italy Rep. of Ireland Sweden Group F Portugal Iceland Austria Hungary
  9. Sad sight (perhaps flattering) that hearts appeared to be time wasting and playing for a draw in the last 25mins. % points behind and capable of snatching a win (special credit to ward for that save) but happy to take a point?? Came back to haunt them mind
  10. Apparently not. Supposedly they are £500k short and are currently spending about £200k on this court trip
  11. Based on wikipedia our strikeforce the season after Stavrum left was as follows: Darren Mackie Leon Mike Eugene Dadi Hicham Zerouali Scott Michie Robbie Winters Top Scorer - Robbie Winters - 14 4th Place The following season it was changed to this Lethal Line up Darren Mackie Leon Mike Leigh Hinds Lauren D'Jaffo Scott Michie The Clubs top scorer that season - Paul Sheerin - 8 who I believe was signed mid season. 8th Place
  12. The wee twat next to me was more into 'we know she said yes......etc etc'
  13. So it starts in July yet the Final is still the following March Remember the days when it Started in August and finished in November?
  14. This actually puts me off going to games now. A particularly irritating teenager appeared next to me at the Hamilton match a few weeks back and proceeded to try and sing about anything his gaze fell upon. The Goodwillie song was also a favourite. When the sun was in his eyes his songs and comments were about him not having any money and wanting a pie. Most of the time he was going solo. One shining light was when he decided to 'drum' on the back of the stand with a closed fist and appeared to cut and/or break something He appeared to be part of a larger group in the rows immediately in-front all of which were fine specimens of Scotland's health statistics, who (without a hint of irony) spent large amounts of time referring to the Hamilton fans as scum, slum dwellers, soap dodgers, unemployed etc. The ref and linesmen also seemed to change between catholic and protestant faiths whenever a decision went against the dons. It has softened the blow of not being able to attend games regularly anymore
  15. The Nursery school isnt across the road. It is directly behind and overshadowed by the main stand and essentially extends from the corner to the centre spot. If that is to be included within the new stand they will need to find some way or compensating for the loss of outdoor space. Alternatively the stand could be designed 'lopsided' so that the roseburn half is significantly smaller than the gorgie road side. A more extreme version of the the old Dell Stand perhaps. Hearts are going to face the same issues with design as the dons do with trying to redeveloping pittodrie. The escape routes of the 3 newer stands are quite clever but do they now comply with the current regulations and will there be sufficient access for emergency vehicles (one of the main points raised by the cops with the Vlad design) without reducing the capacity?
  16. I am curious as to the land they have managed to purchase. The police were very critical of Vlads Proposal as were the Community Council. It did also make the assumption they could just flatten everything around them. I believe Budge is no fool but I still think it was a mistake to say 12months at an AGM then almost immediately follow it up with 'no details until we are absolutely sure'
  17. Announcements mean nothing. The follow up is they wont reveal any details until they know what hurdles they have to clear. The only planning application for tynecastle improvements is a legacy from romanov which includes hotels, apartments etc and there is no money for all of that (its also nearly 8 years old). Given the complexity of the site and how strained and slow Edinburgh Council planning & building standards are at the moment I'd say that statement is going to come back to haunt them.
  18. Good to see the arabs falling further behind 3 points from a possible 18 since mixu took over these days they seem to collapse the moment they concede a goal.
  19. where was this attitude last week? Or are the players now going to sit back and try to hold on?
  20. Fuck i'd managed to forget about Hegarty til now
  21. Last time I can recall the players acting the way they did with throw ins was back in the days of Alex Miller/ Gardner Spears. The taker stood looking for a target and after an eternity would either throw it to a teammate 6yards away eventually resulting in a throw in to Hamilton, or throw it straight to a Hamilton head. Fuck all urgency shown especially after the Accies goal. Seems to me they had settled for a 1-0 win the moment McLeans shot hit the net. Suicadal passes and poor concentration were rife and Hamilton fans should be raging they only got a point out of that. The hungry ruthlessness of the Tynecastle match seems to have been starved out of them.
  22. hopefully he is more than just a good 'shot' stopper
