  1. Yes they are non league teams but in already well established locations unlike last year when Brora (a potential new league area) were in contention. This time Scotland will either end up with 1) the status quo of 3 falkirk based teams, 2) a ressurrected Meadowbank Thistle (you can see Easter Road from Meadowbank stadium) 3) or a second Aberdeen team Hopefully Wick Academy, Fort William, Fraserburgh, Gala or Selkirk will get their act together in the coming seasons
  2. So a 2nd Aberdeen based team will play a 3rd Edinburgh based team for the right to play against Falkirks 2nd team (or 3rd if you count stenhousemuir) for the right to play in the Scottish League. Perhaps this pyramid malarky isnt all its cracked up to be
  3. Barca OOT!!! Hopefully someone will cuff Real in the semis
  4. Sticking my neck out on this one Friday 22nd - Start of something very special
  5. Hibs Hibsed it again 2-0 up with 3mins to go and 10 man Falkirk come back to snatch a draw in injury time Hearts v Caley an uninspiring 0-0 apparently
  6. Leicester guaranteed a place in champions league qualifiers next season Shame that in Scotland an 8 point lead with 5 to play = title race over yet a 7 point lead with 5 to play in England = title race still on
  7. Unfortunate OG for Peterhead. Suppose it is sort of a win-win situation though. Blue hordes win and they will always be remembered they actually had to play in the challenge cup. Lose and they will always be reminded they failed to win it But down south Spurs under a bit of pressure today. Lose to Man United and Leicester could actually win the title next Monday if results go their way
  8. Yep and the goal difference is worse too Yon tic are also 3 points worse off but have the same goal difference Last season the dons only managed 4 points from possible 15 after the split.
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35979886 This guys is worse than a Tory MP
  10. Have I missed the SPFL decision that decrees we get 3 trips to tynecastle as this seems to be the assumption?
  11. Ah well relatively shite weekend for results But can always rely on hibs Lost to already relegate Alloa 11 points from their last 30. Raith now only 4 points behind and even though hibs have 2 games in hand they are against Falkirk and the tribute act.
  12. Dingus on the radio ranting and raving. Really hope Partick, St Johnstone & Dundee shaft them this afternoon
  13. 85 - BigAl 84 - onlyjim 83 - Josh Barrie (chosen for obvious reasons) 82 - Dandy 81 - MBT 80 - Nellie The Don 79 - Jute 78 - Edinburghdon 77 - rocket_scientist 76 - Tyrant 75 - manc 74 73 72 71 70 69 - Tom W 68 67 - Wi_09 66 65 All over for the old guard
  14. Fucking cock teases yon tic. Cant honestly see Dingus and co turning them over on saturday (could be irrelevant anyway depending what happens on Friday) but what price a St Johnstone, Dundee & Partick Hat trick to condemn them to bottom 6 should they not do the dons a favour?

  16. A dons win along with a Caley win next Tuesday would pretty much sew up 2nd place In / out: Out Pre matcher: Supposedly a works night out Match: Hopefully in a pub showing the game Post matcher: Hopefully away from the night out Prediction: 0-0
  17. Potential delay in bottom 6 / top 6 fixtures then Unless Dundee win tomorrow and completely kill off Caley's season (unless arabs and killie get their acts together)
  18. Club perhaps counting season tickets as 'tickets sold' in cunning marketing ploy to tempt people to the ticket office but not dishonest enough to count them in the final total?
  19. 86 85 - BigAl 84 - onlyjim 83 - Josh Barrie (chosen for obvious reasons) 82 - Dandy 81 - MBT 80 - Nellie The Don 79 - Jute 78 - Edinburghdon 77 - rocket_scientist 76 - Tyrant 75 - manc 74 73 72 71 70 69 - Tom W 68 67 - Wi_09 66 65 Hanging by a thread
  20. Attendance: 12,509
  21. Liam Mcleod mentioned during commentary that Lee Wallace was supposedly the next choice ahead of Shinnie Says it all really.
  22. They haven't truly 'Hibsed it' until Raith bypass them on the way to playoff glory over Kilmarnock
  23. I feel the money factor was not as rife back in the days of Steve Archibald. In my lifetime Colin Samuel springs to mind as does Karim Kerkar, Leigh Hinds etc
  24. Concern would be could he step up from league 2 to the premier. Despite the often dire quality of our national game it appears premier league defenders are too good for lower league strikers
  25. Mcinnes was apparently watching a St Mirren player last Tuesday (along with Paul Hartley) so I'd say hes in the Bermuda triangle
