Friday 29th November 2024 would have been my Mam's 67th birthday had she not passed away April 2013 of primary Lung secondary Brain cancer after only fifty-five days following said diagnosis. I like my bets on Europa League and Conference League always have if I'm honest win or lose. For a few weeks now I've been aware that three teams of great history from three separate countries and whose name begins with the same letter have been slowly but surely imbedding themselves in my head for some reason. So earlier this week I put a 'combined bet' on rather than doing my usual five game selections on both 5.45pm kick-off's and 8pm kick-off's in Europa League and Conference League respectively 'Combined Bet' included these three teams having to all score at least once and also conceding once plus a third goal in game for the 2.5 Goals and Overs. Well it came up for a £76.75 profit but given what today means to me I'm just happy it did!!! Have you guessed the three teams yet??? Well here is the big reveal... Ferencvaros 4 v 1 Malmo. Slavia Prague 1 v 2 Fenerbahce. Fiorentina 3 v 2 Pafos. I need somebody to order me a shirt from all three clubs please!!!

I hear there's going to be a new version of Do They Know It's Christmas later this month for the 40 year anniversary. Not sure anybody who I'd like to see take part will actually be asked to do so. Have any of you guys sponsored or knows somebody else that has sponsored or currently sponsors a player man or woman even for just one season? It has always been a goal of mine for years pardon the pun to sponsor a player man or woman in all fairness but probably the ladies given my link this last five years to Southern New Hampshire University Women's Soccer Program. What sort of money are we talking to say support one of the ladies? And what does this amount go towards?

But why the hell do Old Firm fans think Bojan would ever entertain Ibrox or Parkhead side? This design reminds me of the Vitesse Arnhem home shirt. Love it. I have a soft spot for them as used to always buy Greek forward Nikos Machlas from them on Sensible World of Soccer back in the day. I'm sure he was the European Golden Boot winner in like 1996-97 season. Him, Sean Dundee, Steven Milne, Kennet Andersson were always my four strikers on the computer.

Can I ask a simple question or two. Why is two of the Women's side best players in Bayley and Eilidh leaving to sign their first full-time contracts at Tynecastle? I thought we were going full hog and making all the ladies proper professionals? Is this the only reason they've left or am I missing something?

I would never be without my team the Southern New Hampshire University Women's Soccer Program who I've followed and watched online since late 2018. I even put some music to a goal I missed in 2021 because stadium link went down for a quarter of an hour. They have literally saved my life when I was at rock bottom and have formed a lovely connection with the below girl Jordan via our Facebook profiles. Can somebody explain to me in the simplest way possible the new European format in Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League. It sounds absolutely crap!! I guess what I'm wondering is like in Champions League as an example you'll be playing eight different teams in your Group of Nine right? However you'll not be playing four teams home and away right like traditional play from years gone by correct? You'll be playing each team once and luck of the draw who you'll get home and away? God somebody save me from embarrassing myself and just spell it out for me my 33% brain damaged self is losing a few more cells as we speak stressing about it!! Maybe use nine different teams to elaborate if one can!

I found myself tossing and turning in bed at 3am this morning. Then all of a sudden our defeat to Darvel started to bother me.
