  1. Did anybody notice he called Scott Wright Scott McCrorie and Marley Watkins Marley Watson plus he said it was Ronald De Boer rather than Frank that Glass had taken over from???!!! He just annoyed me even more with these simple mistakes.
  2. I always used to laugh when my English team Manchester City had the money pumped into club 2008. Villarreal had the CB & CB partnership upfront for a few years and we wanted them both at Etihad. Carlos Bacca and Cedric Bakambu. What I'd give to have a wonderful sounding strike force like that at Pittodrie next season.
  3. Anybody take Chris Wilder??
  4. After I bought her two most recent albums Miss Carr asked for my phone number and we had a conversation with this girl for about an hour the afternoon one drew 3-3 with Celtic at Pittodrie last year. Once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted she wants to come visit me in Duns as one of her heroes is General Maczek who trained up the 1st Armoured Tank Regiment in town I live before they took to war!! We have a statue down public park celebrating this man and all his men. I'm amazed at how an innocent chat about where I reside would lead to such an idea.
  5. Look if we can win against Celtic in Glasgow with Higgins, Buckley, Morrison, Muirhead, Rutkiewicz, Foster starting one should be winning more often than we do in this neck of the woods!! It was my 24th birthday that evening we won at Parkhead. Couldn't believe we also broke their 77 game undefeated home record too.
  6. I'll say it again but; "I love the ring of Hornby and Hendry, a bit like Buckley and Yorston in the fifties!!"
  7. Does McInnes deserve praise for having some balls to change things around so drastically or is it desperation time???
  8. Andrew, we will need to agree to disagree. I personally think something of that nature can give an individual a vital bit of perspective in life so young and at same time allow one to flourish in whatever they choose to do with their future.
  9. Just read Hendry lost his Mum to meningitis aged twelve after a cosmetic surgery procedure went wrong. Hope this horrible tragedy in early life means he has a bit of spirit and passion about him.
  10. Hornby and Hendry has a nice ring to it. A bit like Buckley and Yorston in the fifties!!!
  11. Am I right in saying Tomas Cerny's two games both came at Easter Road which finished in 2-1 victories for us?? I'm certain because we were annoyed as one hasn't been able to get a ticket for my nearest away ground for a number of years now. Apparently all that travel I've done to Pittodrie over said years (eight hour round trip each and every time) and Mr Seymour still isn't able to even apply for a ticket through this awful loyalty points system club has!! Last trip to Leith October 2017. I've also only got to Tynecastle twice in last seven years. Missed out on so many decent results since 2013.
  12. Can anybody tell me how many penalties have been given to Rangers against us since Steven Gerrard became boss?? I'm sure it is in double figure!!
  13. Jason (covid) Denayer. Sorry I've spent nearly ten months by myself and I'm bored. Please add to my weak attempt!!
  14. Still a bit gutted Kari Arnason coming back didn't work for both parties. I've had a good few chats with him on Facebook Messenger and although he's a man of very few words wish him all said best. We've joked together about how he kept Ronaldo and Messi from scoring against Iceland at World Cup. He found it quite funny that one couldn't stop a mediocre striker or two doing same in SPFL though.
  15. Big Al, if 2020 taught one anything about the human race it is not to give a toss what anybody does think regarding me and my life as always been said source where our unhappiness is concerned. Personally speaking we believe despite quality you say lacks I made some pretty good job given tools possessed but then as we keep saying just because Lee shall support same football team don't mean we'll necessarily get on with fellow fans. I'm not offended. Genius like us does know who I am.
  16. I just wondered could we get a wee bit of feedback for a video we've done tonight to try and take mind off fact I'm alone in said flat on Hogmany. Couldn't add file as apparently too big but here is Facebook link. https://www.facebook.com/seebass.seymour/videos/10158768646459098
  17. Stella Tennant before she sadly passed away two days ago had lived in same town as me Duns for a number of years. I nearly got her on my radio show 2012 with the help of Pat Nevin who lives literally thirty seconds from one also. However her management team claimed at time she was a deeply private person who didn't do any sort of press outside her work. Only wanted her to come on and play some of her favourite tunes. Not sure if she ever got to know about my request. Last year however when approaching our local fishmonger front door I let this female go in shop before us as both approached practically together. Stood chatting to her before she got served. Joked about how Mam had brought Lee up with manners so was always going to allow a woman in ahead of Mr Seymour. Seemed pretty smart, funny, intelligent, very down to earth. Once aforementioned girl had left premises Drew who owned place said; "Lee, you do realise you've just allowed Stella Tennant to go first right?" I replied; "Nope!! See next time she comes in can you please put in a good word for me and get her to come on my radio show if one ever gets it started again??" I can now tell why she was so not into the celebrity lifestyle fashion models do enjoy given some of the tributes about lady last day or so.
  18. Just before I ask the question why the above name hasn't yet forced his way into first team picture was just thinking if you took Rangers results out of equation as I always expect us to lose to them we've only lost once to Motherwell in sixteen matches. Yes we should maybe collecting maximum points away to Hamilton Academical and St.Mirren but draws away to Dundee United and Motherwell plus Home to Celtic as well as ten victories isn't too bad a showing after whole Covid-19/Covid 8 scandal right????? Personally think only losing on road at Ibrox so far is down to no crowds. I'm not sure our away record would have been as good otherwise. Mind generally speaking a lack of supporters from both sides is probably another reason why we're in the decent league position we are. But yes why is Mr Gallagher nowhere near selection when some other youngsters like Ryan Duncan and Calvin Ramsay are featuring on bench????
  19. Was looking back at the 2007-08 Season earlier. It always makes me cringe and smile in equal measure given the adventure we had in Europe which was kind of cancelled out by losing to Q.O.S. in Scottish Cup Semi-Final and being embarrassed by Dundee United in League Cup Semi-Final which I attended. Can't be too disappointed with opening day loss to Dundee United as what happened afterwards inspired my favourite piece of writing and gave one his best experience in life so far. But then we also blew a 3-1 lead at Easter Road (was there too) and met a fellow Dandy who has since become a great pal as Glasgow Central train broke down at Barrhead and we shared a taxi with another two Dandies to go see some 1-0 away win over Kilmarnock. Getting humiliated 4-1 at Tynecastle was another hard one to stomach seeing as we saw it Live. Losing to Motherwell 3-0 five days before turning it on against FC Copenhagen was utterly bizarre too especially as I'd persuaded a non football fan friend of mind to take me to Fir Park to witness said collapse. The two 3-1 losses at Easter Road and Rugby Park which followed our epic 2-2 draw with FC Bayern Munchen certainly confused me somewhat and looking back not sure why I made both trips given money I'd spent on first leg of UEFA Cup Last 32 tie. Remember on train after Kilmarnock defeat and being so angry I cried for pretty much whole way home. Also recall making two trips in a week for games away to Falkirk in League and Scottish Cup. which were both pretty dire. I guess what I'm asking is why do we put up with so much rubbish with our football team for a memorable moment here or there?!?!?!?!
  20. Did I read something somewhere recently which said because Scotland had qualified for Euro 2020 and Rangers performing so well last three years of Europa League that the nation would get FIVE PLACES in Europe next season or certainly campaign after that anyway?????
  21. I have heard so many different view about this movie where some theme is concerned but wondered does anybody have an opinion on what main message might be?? Feel as if we had a similar experience with that American girl story one mentioned recently.
  22. How he never made step up to senior side after representing England at all age groups we will never know.
  23. Maybe not one of his best saves he has made for us but at 0-0 in this tie and needing to score ourselves probably one of my personal favourite!!
  24. Yes only a penalty without said full house pressure but once more another late, late goal for Lewis Ferguson to secure us another positive outcome.
  25. Just watched highlights of 6-5 win at Motherwell. German Maestro Andreas Mayer had FOUR ASSISTS in the game. Won tackle which set Andy Dow up for 1-0. Hit post as Robbie Winters made it 3-1. Slid pass in where Robbie's hat-trick and 5-2 concerned before then pinging the slow motion goal of Paul Bernard!!!!!!
