Tom, how could I forget Andy's?!?!?! Sandaldinho, Hartley's penalty treble is in the options.
-
These are the five 'treble treat' I've seen Live so to get away from whole Scott McKenna saga for awhile just pick your favourite!!! P.S. Between 1991 and present day how many other hat-trick heroes do we have??? I'm trying to think if there are anymore I've witnessed in flesh but don't believe one has. Scott Vernon against Dundee United and Adam Rooney away to Daugava Riga but can't remember other than that.
-
Ricco, You've not actually answered my question!!!!!
-
Am I going mad or did we know who our potential opponents might be in Play-Off Round before losing to Real Sociedad, Kairat Almaty, NK Maribor and Apollon Limassol because one can't remember there ever being a time when we dreamed about possibility of beating those mentioned above and thinking right just X or Y to beat and we've made the Europa League Group Stages!!!!
-
I don't think the timing of transfer request is great given Thursday's match. We have a more than decent chance of making Group Stage if seeing off HNK Rijeka.
-
Is anybody hearing anything about potential replacements because I'm guessing we'll need at least two in if Scott goes right??
-
Any of my fellow Dandies want to take pity on me and help with an extra £350 I had to fork out on a taxi from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Aberdeen (188 miles) as my 9.30am train was cancelled due to Caledonian Sleeper running riot at Waverley!!! I wasn't taking any chances with the information we were given as to how we were going to be getting up!!! Being told By station staff that I'll probably only get our outward bound journey fully refunded!!!

In the last three weeks I've spent without including spending money on the day £324.85 to attend both Rovaniemen Palloseura and Chikhura Sachkhere Europa League ties. Of course living four hours from Pittodrie does mean an early morning train up and accommodation must be booked. I've never questioned said cost it does take to follow my team but because we try make effort where European Encounters, midweek Cup Clashes and League Liaisons plus odd Christmas Crackers are concerned I feel like some part-time supporter!! A week Thursday will be my 236th game spread over 26 years albeit there was some decade long gap between visits from 1997-2007 due to personal and family circumstances. Since our Mam passed away I've felt health has played a big part in attending with only forty games under belt during last six years. I'd actually say make that five year seeing as we had anxiety and depression issue most of 2018 and halfway through 2019.

DON'T THINK WE'LL BE WINNING 3-0 AWAY FROM HOME AGAIN!!! I honestly hate playing the same sides even in our own league nevermind abroad.
-
Am I right in saying Deek now has the most European away victories from any Aberdeen manager???
-
Georgian Guys next week it is if we can FINNISH the job off tomorrow!! I have a really bad feeling about this one. I'm quite eager to play Chikhura Sachkhere like.
-
I hope Mr Ojo don't end up like Yoann Folly and having to retire early!! Always thought our Togo lad could have been something decent too. Believe he went on to study Law after leaving us right??
-
Anybody got a proper angle of Niall's goal rather than the musical montage club put out earlier??
-
Somebody explain why there are 24 votes made but saying 23 at bottom of post??
-
Maybe I'm easily pleased either that or very simple but I thoroughly enjoyed Thursday evening watching my team playing on a European stage for eighteenth time. Guess after spending four hours on public transport just to attend and not getting home til following day around 8.15pm one is always aware how much any victory at Pittodrie does mean to me personally speaking especially now given we ain't far away from the old place being knocked down plus private life struggle with anxiety/depression experienced since February 2018.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that Ipswich Town have an unbeaten European Home record which reads something like 25 victories and six drawn over said 1962-2002 period. This includes visits from Barcelona, AC Milan, Feyenoord, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and of course Aberdeen!!!!!!
-
Wasn't John Wark Top Scorer in the competition with like 14 goals or something the year Ipswich Town won UEFA Cup?? I always thought he was a defender as well.

I did myself over on the horses yesterday. Was going to do a 25p e/w Lucky 15 on four ITV Racing televised races at Sandown. I'd picked three (6/1) shots in Caspian Prince which drifted to (11/1) and was placed third, then Hidden Message which came into (9/4) FAV in the morning but wasn't allowed to take 6's as wasn't in till apparently and he won his race, plus Regal Reality who also went out in betting to (17/2) before placing third and finally took Escobar at (20/1) that finished no less than a length behind winner in 2nd after being backed into (12/1). I did 50p Win Lucky 15 meaning only Hidden Message at (9/4) will be paid out on!!!! If I'd have done e/w like I intended with (20/1) Escobar, been given (6/1) on Hidden Message yesterday morning that I saw on screen in shop, then got given the drifted prices of Regal Reality and Caspian Prince regarding best odds guaranteed I believe I'd have got an extra £70 on top of our single selections. Even if I had the prices given in two (6/1) 3rd's the (20/1) second and (9/4) FAV winner still talking a top up of £31ish.

Does anybody know what happened to or where the velcro sheep costume guy is who was set on fire while travelling back to Aberdeen via train Halloween 2009??? Still can't believe no custodial sentence given out. £25,000 compensation also seemed a little too small for me. Remember that day very vividly as two Hibernian supporters gave me V-Sign as walking down Waverley Train Station steps then shouted; "Hope your train crashes!!" Never understand these so called 'football fans'. I think this was the incident where we stopped wearing our Aberdeen colours. It is stuff like the above which makes me want to walk away from the game at times.
-
I see Wilson is wearing No.8 today. Gleeson got a different number this season??
-
Big Al, three out of the first four if one saw I made reference to HNK Rijeka match!!! Wasn't even born when Juventus came to town and probably not even a fan when the other six games are revealed!!!

I honestly struggle every week which game Bayern Munich (2008) or FC Copenhagen (2007) is my favourite. Really is like 51% to 49% in favour of Danish Delight. Believe we just favour said outer body experience from 20th December 12 years ago.
-
Can I have a dead heat between FC Copenhagen (2007) and Bayern Munich (2008) please?? Became an author the day we played our German Giants so utterly over the moon with a 2-2 draw given I was fully expecting to get thumped five or six nil. Danish Delight I'll never forget til day one does die. Pretty positive we had an outer body experience that evening as fourth goal from Ricky Foster went in. Personally speaking thoroughly enjoyed atmosphere small band of Apollon Limassol supporters created throughout match. Kairat Almaty encounter is something remembered fondly. Not sure why but walked out stadium rather pleased at how much effort the boys made to turn tie around. For some strange reason Burnley draw at Pittodrie meant a lot to me too. Also quite proud way we'd fought back grabbing late leveller against Maribor given one had conceded so deep. Easily could have just played not to concede another. Finally after going 2-0 down versus HNK Rijeka SeeBass found himself talking to his Mam and started praying to her that she'd seen us through such uncomfortable circumstances at time.

Would anybody take Kenny Miller after his release from Dundee??

Just a bit of fun for a Sunday afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!
