What has happened to this guy?? Been nowhere near First Team which is especially strange in light of all our defensive issues earlier in season.
-
For Shay; If The Dons had said type of money and resources as your old team Manchester City have nowadays do you think it would spoil the family tradition feel at Pittodrie. I support both clubs and wouldn't want Aberdeen losing their identity like ultimately happened at Etihad Stadium. I'm also intrigued to find out how much a player like him has enjoyed the five years of European action.

The thing I love about McGregor and I've only known about him 18 months after seeing one in many a Celebrity Royal Rumble video I've mentioned is that win or lose he has the walk to back up aforementioned talk. He ain't afraid of nobody and for this fact alone I will always respect said guy as think his bravado aside does seem a decent bloke underneath it all.
-
I see three of our strikers from last season scored today. Rooney bags a hat-trick, Stockley gets a double and even Maynard scored for Bury!!!
-
I'm just looking at the fixture list tonight and have seen a bit of a weird one. We have Hamilton Academical on a Wednesday evening all three matches before the split. Pittodrie on October 31st and February 27th then in Lanarkshire January 23rd.

As much as I love McGregor (my experience of MMA overall is pretty limited) and his approach to a fight do think he's getting beat on Saturday evening. Khabib at (10/17) is very tempting as is (4/6) on Wilder to inflict first Fury defeat. Do we do a mug's double??
-
I'm always amazed at our pretty decent overall record (PL17 W5 D10 L2 F29 A18) in the seventeen European games I've seen at Pittodrie since 2007. But how good were all the sides we played?? As a teenage Dons supporter in the middle nineties I wasn't able to come up and see us play Hertha Berlin, Valur, Barry Town, Nistru Otaci, Skonto Riga and the like but it is a side of our beautiful game that has forever intrigued my imagination. So glad I've had said experience of last ten years or so. It is something given my recent depression diagnosis one is most grateful for. Dnipro, Lokomotiv Moscow, FC Copenhagen, Bayern Munich, Daugava Riga, FC Groningen, Real Sociedad, FK Shkendija, HNK Rijeka, Kairat Almaty, Sporting Circle Fola Esch, FK Ventspils, NK Maribor, Siroki Brijeg, Apollon Limassol and Burnley.

In the 'Cup' Tom!!
-
When was the last time we actually won a meaningful cup game against either of the two Glasgow Giants?? I'm not counting 2008 at Parkhead because it actually led to nothing. At least if we win October 28th one does reach a fourth final in five years under Deek.
-
Is it me or has the singer got it wrong when he says; "We played in many countries five in total...." Surely it was only four with Ukraine, Greece, Spain and Germany unless he's counting Scotland which would be five yet a bit daft if he is no?!?!?!?!

Hibernian v Aberdeen Betfred Cup Quarter-Final
SeeBass replied to Lencarl's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I'm correct in saying we've now had five Cup games against Hibernian in past six years. LEAGUE CUP 2015: Hibernian 2 v 0 Aberdeen. (I believe our Edinburgh friends were also all over us that night and got two in final eight minutes) 2018: Hibernian 0 v 0 Aberdeen. (Winning 6-5 on penalties tonight will just take care of itself after embarrassing recent losses to Queen's Park and East Fife through same method) SCOTTISH CUP 2012 QUARTER-FINAL: Hibernian 1 v 0 Aberdeen. (I attended that Sunday afternoon and we were denied a replay with Scott Vernon's late penalty miss after Gary Deegan scored his unbelievable strike). 2013: SEMI-FINAL: Hibernian 2 v 1 Aberdeen. (I was gutted watching on TV seeing Rory Fallon's wonder goal count for nothing). 2017: SEMI-FINAL: ABERDEEN 3 V 2 HIBERNIAN. (We really should have seen that game out comfortably at 2-0 as again we watched from the safety of our armchair). Point I guess we're trying to make is whether we deserved our luck earlier or not we've not had rub of green very often during a Cup campaign last 10-15 years right?? -
Another £10 Both Teams To Score coupon up yesterday. Charlton Athletic 2 v 1 Plymouth Argyle, Morcambe 2 v 1 Macclesfield Town, Oldham Athletic 3 v 3 Colchester United and Gillingham 2 v 4 Peterborough United.

I believe St.Mirren are considering legal action against Chris Sutton. He must have called out Clangers Live on air as "one of the snakes" that got his ex-Celtic teammate Alan Stubbs the sack!!
-
Anybody got any footage of this apparent tirade from Mr Celtic towards Clangers on BT Sport?? Ain't heard of it til like five minutes ago.
-
I hear the people at top of the game are thinking of scrapping the Away Goals Rule in European competition. Please explain why they want to fix something which ain't broken!!

Doesn't Matter If You're Black Or White.....Right??
SeeBass replied to SeeBass's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Well Tom I've lived with a brain injury for nearly 39 years and yours truly is never surprised at how deeply this part of our anatomy does go. Nothing meant by my post whatsoever. One shall keep everything inside from now on when I need entertained. I'm just wired up differently to most in this world. -
Doesn't Matter If You're Black Or White.....Right??
SeeBass posted a topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Stupid thought I know but while watching highlight package for St.Johnstone match yesterday suddenly crossed my mind that we were playing with a right and left back in Logan and Lowe who have same skin colour and had one ever seen similar before. You know as if it was some kind of quota required due to league legislation. Honestly question our thought process on occasion!! -
My childhood friend Gareth Henderby is Head Of Football at the Right To Dream Academy that our U-13's coach Cameron Campbell is now leaving us to work for. Hendo is responsible for our 'SeeBass' nickname actually. Wish he would loan some African flair our way!! https://www.righttodream.com/the-team

My Celebrity Big Brother bet 'came up' but was down on our month long punt. With Dan finishing 3rd (7/1) and Kirstie 2nd (8/1) a quarter odds...1, 2, 3. Ryan even before 'Punchgate' wasn't worth backing but did get 4th with Nick and Gabby 6th in Final from one's five picks on Launch Night. Only Jermaine Pennant failed me.
-
Anybody got an opinion regrding what has gone down in Celebrity Big Brother House tail end of last week?? The show is a guilty pleasure but having been somebody that spent first eight years on and off within said Women's Refuge with Mam plus little brother I'm quite annoyed she would do this during some game show!! World going crazy.
-
These teams seem to have a better spirit within said camp because of their multicultural identity.
-
I wonder whether we need to see an Aberdeen team with more players from different countries in it. There does seem to be some evidence these smaller sides have this said element.
-
Just looking at some of those going to be in draw tomorrow. A team from Luxembourg called F91 Dudelange only 27 years old that navigated three rounds of qualifying, a Norwegian lot Sarpsborg 08' just a decade in existence and sailed through four rounds of qualifying themselves, AEK Larnaca Cypriot based for a year shy of a quarter of a century also cruising through three rounds, our old friends Apollon Limassol swaggering past four rounds of qualifying also. Even a Scottish side just six years old gobbled up four opponents put in their way. What are we as a club doing wrong on this subject??
-
I'm fairly hopeful my Celebrity Big Brother bet will be up in a fortnight or so. I usually do five or six people to make Final Night. I've got £10 e/w (8/1), (1/4) odds 1, 2, 3 on Kirstie Alley and really hoping our £7.50 e/w (7/1), (1/4) odds 1, 2, 3 on Dan Osborne gives me at least 2nd and 3rd. Also did Hardeep Singh Kohli (I've been on stage with him at The Maltings in Berwick-upon-Tweed), Nick Leeson, Gabby Allen and Jermaine Pennant. I think I'll lose Hardeep and Jermaine before Finale possibly even Gabby too. I just do it for a laugh seeing as programme is our guilty pleasure. Had winner 12 times from the nineteen series made.

My £20 Four Games Both Teams To Score Coupon came up for me on Saturday!!!! A 91ST MINUTE CONSOLATION GOAL from Plymouth Argyle as they lost 5-1 at home to Peterborough United and then some 94TH MINUTE OWN GOAL BY NORTHAMPTON TOWN regarding their game with Colchester United finishing 2-1 has seen us bouncing off said living room walls. Also had AFC Wimbledon 1 v 2 Sunderland and Havant & Waterlooville 1 v 1 Salford City. Why one does love our beautiful game so much. Returned £176.46 like.
