TLG, There are no easy games in Europe nowadays I will enjoy proceedings for what they are worth. A nice evening out if nothing else. They didn't make Group Stages last year. Grasshoppers of Zurich knocked them out in 3rd Round Qualifying for Europa League. You were looking at APOEL Nicosia not Apollon Limassol. -

Money is pending in bank account but how do I know for sure the club has actually booked my seat?? Did it online for first time ever. -

Not convinced we're up to the challenge of getting through this one. Having said that I've got a tenner on us 3-1 (22/1) eh?!?!?! -
Big Al, Will it not be worth more because yours is nine years old?!?!
-
ElginDon, As a friend said to me regarding Ryan Christie meeting last Friday afternoon. For somebody like us who has travelled four hours the previous morning to see him and the rest of the boys it's a nice memory to take home with yours truly especially seeing he scored our goal during that latest visit to Pittodrie too.

Well Ricco send me a cheque and return address for £7.
-
There are still copies of my 2008 debut collection of short stories 'Hemiplegic Utopia' available if anybody is interested in a personally signed copy. Does include around a chapter and a half on my experiences and general love for Aberdeen FC.

Myself and Nicky Weaver before Motherwell game in August of 2013 which we won 3-1 with two Niall McGinn penalties and a Mark Reynolds header. Derek McInnes actually told ex-Manchester City goalkeeper to go speak with me!! Seeing as I follow both teams mentioned it was a conversation and photo with him that means a lot so soon after Mam had passed away.

Shay and me at Paisley St.James Train Station after we beat St.Mirren 1-0 courtesy of an Adam Rooney 80th minute penalty February 2014.

Prefer said 1960's version I made seeing as club entered into their 50th year of European competition last Thursday evening so could we delete any original image posted please?? Let me just say I've nothing against anybody on here I'm just very obsessed about perfection and we hate the way my right is closed!! I blame one's brain damage for this!!
-
Don't have either!!
-
ElginDon, How do we paste photo though??

I'm in absolute buckets right now!! And we're blaming our new signing Kari Arnason!! Five years ago when he first shone for us we played a game away at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on my 32nd birthday. I'd always loved this Icelandic Beast from moment I saw him play. One put £11 (he wore No.11 jersey back then) Opening Scorer where above match is concerned. Well it came over SKY Sports Score Centre as; Inverness Caledonian Thistle 0 v 1 Aberdeen (ARNASON 22). So phoned Mam and literally went berserk. I mean was said case of losing one's cool when shouting down blower; "He's only gone and bloody scored on my 32nd birthday Mam £11 First Scorer!!!" Two minutes later Score Centre updated with a correction; Inverness Caledonian Thistle 0 v 1 Aberdeen (Romain Golobart O.G. 22) Had such a laugh together telling her about how an own goal got given instead. Taking myself back towards that moment and remembering Mam ain't around anymore has just unexpectedly choked me. She introduced yours truly to such a wonderful thing supporting 'The Sheep'. Still miss 'Gina' beyond any plausible explanation people.

SeeBass had the pleasure of meeting Ryan on Friday afternoon before I caught my train home to Scottish Borders. I'd just walked out of Frankie & Benny's and we stopped him for a quick photo. Stood with me for about ten minutes talking about Thursday's game. He loved the atmosphere apparently. Really chatty well mannered kid. Made our trip. Not sure how we upload picture though.
-
He maybe thirty-five years old come October but I'm pretty stoked Mr Arnason has returned!!!!! Just been practising my Icelandic Thurderclap!!
-
Cheers for the kind words guys. Our success since Derek arrived has been bittersweet because it's been good in helping me through one's tragic loss but at same time is a reminder of all them conversation we used to have with Mam which I miss about how crap Aberdeen were!!!!!!
-
I was reading the great story just now about how Stranraer and FC Twente have formed such a strong link over said last decade. Given our club's community feel to it why don't we have more of a bond with any other European club ourselves??
-
Nips and Tatties, I don't drink never touched a drop in my life!!!! I'm going to make an effort to come up from Scottish Borders on Friday afternoon before Hamilton Academical opener at Pittodrie. Train does take three and a half hours so will make a weekend of things by going back Sunday sometime.

Had to wait til 10.50pm tonight for our first and probably only football accumulator up this season!!!! Don't usually stick £15 on a four team selection but thanks very much Ferencvaros (19/20), Trencin (19/20), Nomme Kalju (EVS) and Valur (10/11). I'll be collecting £219.86 for our stake hence might just stop while I'm £200 up!!!!

I was second top row of Richard Donald Stand against FC Copenhagen and when Mikael Antonsson netted his O.G. I turned round to folk behind me and said; "That doesn't count because one of our players didn't touch ball last!!!" Remember this blonde haired girl looking at me as though one was rather weird. Certainly think yours truly had an outer body experience that evening especially at fourth goal from Ricky Foster. Maybe we can say Father Christmas delivered my present early in 2007!!!!
-
Bobby, I absolutely hate playing St.Johnstone and Ross County four times a season sometimes more in drawing them during Cup campaign!!!! Guess our love for European scene has always been there since I took out a book on said subject at High School library and must have kept it about a whole year before handing material back!! Really was and still are quite obsessed about above aspect regarding our beautiful game.

I have become quite bored with Scottish football's overall brand. One actually must see us qualify for Europe every season to get me excited. Of course we don't want a lot of mammoth plane trip to Central Asia each year but SeeBass especially these last four 'continental adventure' really has enjoyed his team travelling all round said globe playing against unknown quantities on many strange land!!!!!!
