  1. Big Al, I've only attended our last fourteen home European ties since Dnipro in 2007. Obviously we've had many other games in early to mid 2000's against Valur, Torino, Barry Town, Zalgris Vilnius, Bohemians and Nistru Otaci naming just a few but because of living four hours from Pittodrie on a school night we'd never get chance to attend these matches. Mind didn't sound like we missed much where Irish and Lithuanian pasting were concerned!! Wish yours truly went further during Europa League campaign sometimes. For me it does break up monotony of domestic league setup.
  2. No matter who we play next Thursday night I've been thinking about our previous fourteen European matches that one has attended in terms of an experience. I always put FC Copenhagen mauling before Bayern Munich ding dong then Kairat Almaty in third place closely followed by NK Maribor not to mention HNK Rijeka making Top Five. Am I right to put Danish Delight ahead of German Greatness???
  3. Tyrant, Winning League Cup 11 months after she died was pretty emotional stuff. As with our £471.38 accumulated for reaching both Cup Finals last season one donated one's £257.50 when beating Inverness Caledonian Thistle to Margaret Kerr Unit here in the Scottish Borders who done such a wonderful job making her last moments so peaceful and tranquil. Think yours truly does adopt a different outlook on life having gone through losing your Mam like we did. European games have been brilliant where taking my mind off recent heartache is concerned especially HNK Rijeka, Kairat Almaty and NK Maribor at Pittodrie.
  4. Well my fellow Dandies where does one start trying to tell all about my five or so year absence. I think the easy explanation is as follows; 1.Watching my Mam pass away aged fifty five following some 48 day battle with primary Lung and secondary Brain cancer has obviously been very tough to deal with and completely changed yours truly as a person forever. 2.Said breakdown of some 15 year private life relationship ultimately adds to above mess. Been to 32 matches since Mam's death on Wednesday 10th April 2013 which has included fifteen victories, ten drawn games and seven defeated afternoon although we only count Real Sociedad (H), Hearts (A), Rangers (H) as proper losses because St.Johnstone twice, Hearts and Ross County all at home there was nothing at stake other than professional pride.
  5. Isn`t Fozzy`s Pittodrie highlight so far setting up the crucial away goal in the Ukraine for Daz Mac?
  6. Despite my life long affliction down the left hand side I`m sure I could do as good a job as any. And FOR FREE!!! Just give it a chance I`m sure Mark knows what he`s doing.
  7. Watching Hartley in the flesh take those penalties reminded me of when I thought I was seeing Phil Taylor hit three nine darters one after the other. Took me awhile to realise it was a double repeat of the leg before the interval!!!
  8. What`s the latest regarding the above? Will he play tomorrow? If he ain`t officially signed only got a couple weeks to sort it!

Last night Hardeep Singh Kohli spoon fed me some of his cooking on stage at The Maltings. Really don`t know where it came from but one responded by giving the guy a girly kiss on either cheek as I held the back of his Turban to do so! During the second half of the show he mentioned the word Seabass in a joke and one had a wee chuckle to himself before the punchline arrived so he asked me to explain how I got the nickname then dedicated the next dish to the one, the only SeeBass!!!
  10. If you`re going to talk about me while I`m not here TENEMENTFUNSTER please get my name right first eh? It`s spelt "SeeBass" not SeaBass!!!
  11. Dave, bought two bottles of Oasis Fruit Juice from WH Smith for £1.59 to wash it all down with now you`re asking thanks. One was the original Passion flavour an other Wild Berry or whatever it`s called.
  12. Tom, I think you might be right!
  13. Manc, I was blimey starving that day!
  14. Bobby, if I`m being honest I actually had one Cheese and Onion Pasty, a Sausage and Bean Melt, one Sausage Roll, a Belgian Cookie and the Chicken Salad Sandwich on Malted Bread!
  15. Tom, it was the first thing to come into one`s head my friend that`s all.
  16. No word of a lie I thought I saw Stevie Tosh coming out of the cafe situated under Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Hall week before last. Went to say hello but by the time I`d turned round to make my move (after dismissing my sighting) the suspect had a young child in his arms so didn`t think it appropiate to approach the man. Still the mini cardiac arrest one suffered outside Greggs was well worth the idea a hero of mine was so close! Dave in response to your question the guy claimed now that he thought about it might have been the St.Johnstone team who`d played The Wee Gers a few days after the spotting.
  17. Tyrant, I never went to Munich as such! Just the Valentine`s Day date at Pittodrie but as well as seing my one true love hold the mighty Germans to a thrilling 2-2 draw it was also the same day my first book was published hence the extra special twist to the evening because I celebrated the great achievement on my own doing the thing I most like to do in all of the world!
  18. I got asked by one of the Ladbrokes staff on Monday afternoon what were my team doing walking in and around Berwick-upon-Tweed last week. I replied; "Probably stopping for a toilet break on their way down to England and a three game pre-season tour we have there if it was them at all."
  19. Tyrant, I keep whistling the Quality Street theme tune now you`ve said that! I think the day we played Bayern Munich in February 2008 will be one of the last three I go into in more detail later tonight.
  20. I`m still humming and harring over what my eigth, ninth and tenth moments will be. Hence the nine month delay!
  21. At least McGhee didn`t sign someone like Makalamby as back up for Langfield or it could have been a long season. I don`t really count Tony Warner under this next question but have we ever had a coloured keeper on a long term basis?
  22. No for all the great memories both games provided back in 2007. Still get goosebumps over FC Copenhagen performance whenever I see the goals.
  23. Four for Champions League Qualifying today and tomorrow. Basel (EVS) and Zenit St.Petersburg, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Fenerbache all (10/11). I`m doing a sentimental double on Dnipro (8/11) and FC Copenhagen (5/4) too.
  24. Has Stewart actually had a game for us yet?
  25. Brian also added it was Pat McGinlay who was made to have egg on his face by missing from 12 yards.
