  1. I myself had a £2.50 five timer on Manchester United (8/13), Newcastle United (8/13), Rangers (4/9), Blackburn Rovers (Evs) and Burton Albion (6/5) which returned £41.42 and paid for my £40 taxi home from Galashiels after the match at Tynecastle!!!
  2. See the caption at the end of the clip says...Hearts 3 v 0 Aberdeen LoL!!!
  3. Whose gonna win Celeb Big Brother Friday night then? I did Dane Bowers as an interest at £3.75 e/w (6/1) a 1/5 of the odds because I`d thought he`d go far (mostly women tune into the programme and they`d want to see him do well) but thought Vinnie looked the likely winner. Should be safe enough to get my money back there eh??? Was tempted to stick a tenner on Mr Wimbledon (still might) but just get the feeling he`ll be pipped at the post especially as I now rate Nicol T. as the really serious darkhorse to both of the above. These sort of show`s should make you great money but trying to read the rest of the country`s minds is like trying to predict the weather. Should never start that conversation. Watch this afterall I`ve said Alex Reid will walk away as champ LoL!!!
  4. Penfold, I just want to highlight what an outer body sensation it was for me in terms of ambience!
  5. El Padre, you really think so? I believe when the team`s back is right against the wall we do tend to show up in our numbers and make a lot of noise no? Dave is that the double DVD with "Ten Years Of The SPL" on it? Because if so I alreadly have it and don`t agree that it captures what a fab experience it was.
  6. Why`s there no decent match footage on You Tube of our FC Copenhagen beating or what an amazing atmosphere it was that night? Want to show my brother who I`ve not seen for 22 years that we can rival Manchester United for the most passionate supporters tag. Meet him in about ten days if anyone can help me.
  7. 2 x £2.50 Roll Up`s these next couple of days. Liverpool (8/11), a bit dodgy I know, Newcastle United (1/2), and two of my dare I say it lucky teams Colchester United (4/5) and Accrington Stanley (Evs). The other? Hibernian (10/11), Dunfermline Athletic (10/11), Greenock Morton (5/4) and Forfar Athletic (5/6). Hope everybody has a profitable weekend! P.S. Bobby Biscuit, when one comes to visit the Seymour universe you always have to abide by his rules!
  8. Foster and Mulgrew the new Miller and McLeish for Scotland!
  9. As it stands my next game might not be til January 27th away to Hearts anyway which I believe is a Wednesday night just like at Easter Road two weeks later. Can`t take a chance on booking travel and accomodation for fixtures over the festive period especially if the winter weather comes into the equation. Then again the above two matches won`t see me home til near enough one on the Thursday morning.
  10. I don`t mind paying the extra tenner or so on booking tickets through the club when I have to, but it is nice to get a bit reduced on paying at the turnstiles especially if the entertainment on show is a little suspect.
  11. God, Michael Watt actually has something to show for his career!
  12. What is the world coming to? Lee has a treble up for the first time in ages. Thanks to Accrington Stanley being postponed I collected a measly £19.82 for my last post!
  13. Four tonight are Accrington Stanley (13/10), Colchester United (1/2), Walsall (11/10) and Bradford City (13/10). Got a £2.50 accumalator on them. European wise I fancy Barcelona (3/4), Rubin Kazan (19/20), Sevilla (5/4) and Fiorentina (Evs) in a 40p Lucky 15.
  14. Minijc, I`ve only been lucky enough to get in at Kilmarnock for a little less than the rest of you especially when a lot of the games I goto away from home are all ticket so one has to pay the full whack.
  15. I was happy with the effort shown second-half and even got some of my £20 bet back (£7.92 to be precise) by predicting McDonald would score at £1.25 e/w (16/1) so went home content enough. Another bonus was I got in for £15 when I showed the guy my disability card as I did at Easter Road (£12 that day). Might try it at other grounds in the future.
  16. I`ve had darts bets up last two nights myself. Wednesday eveving had Scott Waites (an easy 5-0 winner over Wayne Mardle), Simon Whitlock (4-1 down to Hankey winning 5-4 with a 146 checkout!), Steve Beaton (4-2 behind against McDine and completing another 5-4 victory!) and Darin Young the American geezer a 5-3 winner when a break down to Denis Ovens, score 3-1 to "The Heat" at the time. My £2 returned £17.52. Thursday did four £1 correct winning margin predictions and after Phil Taylor was losing 4-3 to Llyod laughed my head off when "The Power" reeled off seven on the spin to give me a (6/1) 10-4 result!
  17. Just remembered "Aberdeen Park" is running at 2.00 this afo but not sure where! Don`t go daft as you only get two places and it`s in no form at all.
  18. Wish I`d done Liam Craig each way...his dad Peter did say he was going to score and ruin my day! Guess he`d be eight`s, nine`s or possibly higher.
  19. Anybody got an e/w vibe for who might meet Taylor in the Final of The Grand Slam Of Darts? For sentimental reasons I`ll pluck for Gary Anderson. My claim to fame is when I used to play for The Blackadder in Greenlaw we had a game against the top team in the league, The Plough from Yetholm. My captain on the afternoon in question told me to come along that night but warned me I might not get a place if the trump card arrived, that being Dreamboy himself World No.6 at the time. And would you believe it I WAS DROPPED so Mr A. could play. Well he won his trebles, doubles and singles matches (I marked the best of three contest between him and Titch Tait who never got under 300 as The Flying Scotsman checked out in 14 and 15 darts respectively.) We actually lost the tie 7-4 too! Someone told me he`s as big as (14/1) but if his TV nerves get the better of him how about somebody like Steve Beaton, James Wade or Ted Hankey at a tasty (50/1)? Might spend a tenner and do four different guys. Always want Barny to win as well and he should be a double figure price and all.
  20. I fancy Lyon 3-1, Hamburg 3-0, Everton 2-0, Roma 2-0. Kallstrom, Ze Roberto, Feillani and Perotta as e/w goalscorers.
  21. See the incident at the top of London Road was that the lad who was slumped up against the black railings? I went to ask if he was alright and this copper told me to go away there was nothing to see. I said there`s no need for that I was just checking on the welfare of a fellow fan. Maybe because I don`t wear my colours to games anymore he thought I was a normal member of the public being nosey I don`t know. Didn`t make a big deal out of it from that point in case he arrested me or something stupid like that so walked off. I`ve always been scared of fellow "supporters" with their acts of thuggery like the above and never feel safe at a tussle. As for the train palava now I know I`m justified in my decision to keep myself to myself when it comes to going to the match. Many times I`ve thought about never attending another encounter and these sad times really get to me because I feel as though folk are spoiling my experience as I`m not there to help those special people who share the same love for a club whose impact on my exsistence can`t ever be questioned. I wish people would just grow up and get a life. It makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race. Sorry for the rant guys I`m extremely upset because the sport should never be about things like this.
  22. Win, lose or draw I always have a blast. Got £2.50 on an Aberdeen win (10/1), £3.75 e/w Mr Miller at seven`s and Chaz a fiver both ways in excess of half a carpet (yes that`s £10 on our (16/1) left back.) Positive Mental Attitude Folks! P.S. Look Herb Brooks won the Hockey Gold Medal against all the odds with a bunch of young amateurs and college kids during the 1980 Winter Olympics. Inspiration enough to know anything`s possible if only you have the right state of mind.
  23. I had Red Bull Salzburg (4/9), Athletic Bilbao (2/5), Galatasaray (4/11) and Panathinaikos (1/3) in a small stakes Lucky 15 which just about saved my bacon!
