  1. Another shield to deflect criticism away from milne, whilst I imagine miller will still do contract and signing type stuff.
  2. . That was kinda my sarcastic point afc have turned talented kids away before for having inadequate physical presence
  3. whats wrong with the oher 54? Not tall/big enough?
  4. This constant talk of league restructuring frustrates me. (And anyone who would want to invest in our league in all likelihood). Anyway, why does it take financial meltdown in the league for the blazers to realise that our football is in a terrible state. The constant pandering to the ugly sisters over the years has brought this league to its knees. In order to survive THEY need a competitive league. We are now faced with a sport so predictable no one wants to spend money to watch it. The infirm behave like parasites, soaking up any good from the rest of the league, whether its players, tv revenue or influence, and now there is nothing left they still want to jump host to the epl or wherever. (Mark my words, if this talk about restructuring has surfaced, i expect more paper talk about rantic's enthusiasm for an atlantic league again). We need to learn from the likes of the Bundesliga, very, very quickly other wise in ten years time there may be nothing left of this competition. The governing bodies have been told and warned many, many times now from a variety of sources what needs to be done. The blazers now have to earn thier wage, grow a pair and change this sport from top to bottom for the benefit of the future.
  5. typical shambolic pre season. No surprises whatsoever.
  6. Motherwell is also a shocker of an away day if you are taling that into account.
  7. ooocha! coulnae happen to a niser club.
  8. So is this MM attempting to place players in the squad with the ability to play 4-3-3?
  9. To me, Hartley is exactly what we need just now, an experienced head in the middle of the team. We know what we will get from him. Hendrie is more of an unknown quantity and I think a larger risk.
  10. Im now actually a bit concerned about having so many new faces in the squad all at once so close to the start of the season. I think it will take a t least until christmas for the team to work properly together. It wil also take a bit of time to see if any (or which) of these signings are duds and not working. By then we could well be in a bit of bother with league placement.
  11. From now on any higlights of the England V Germany game will now be shown on gaytv as the sight of 11 arseholes getting pumped for nintey minutes has been deemed too pornographic for MOTD
  12. Ha ha jute! Good to see your pre season optimism coming flooding back!
  13. Cretins such as this get a vote in the most powerful country in the world. Jesus.
  14. Until faced with relegation money will appear from thin air to pay Mark McGhee and the coaching staff off which would have been better of being invested in the quality of playing staff to begin with.
  15. They dont ever learn do they? The reason why we were a ball hair frem a full on relegation battle was because of thier refusal to replace those who have left whith those of a decent standard for r YEARS now. If Miller thinks that that continuing with this policy is acceptable then the squad is utterly fucked.
  16. I have an awful feeling most of uss will be happy with a win and two draws. I think anything less and we are in for a terrible season.
  17. Jesus, not exactly the way to get folk flocking in to buy season tickets is it? Any other team would be saying something along the lines of "we will be pulling out all the stops to have a replacement signed". I fear for season ticket sales next season. A record low I reckon.
  18. jesus, Sounds like a lot of work for the loon.
  19. Anything to maintain the utopian lifestyle in the land of milk and honey that is cumernauld.
  20. jesus,a relegation threatened first division team in Greece. Sounds like a footballing mecca. Bye bye you oxygen thief.
  21. Brilliant post. Sums up the utter shambles that is our situation. Yes afc should be a viable buuisiness, but if folk think football is the same as running a shop, or oil supply yard or whatever, they are mistaken. There is an element of paying out initially to get the long term gains, afc is in a precarious place at the moment, we can't afford to put a decent team on the pitch, but we are thinking of digging up the clubs history and roots and moving to a multi million pound Lego complex? Utterly wrong priorities!
  22. :headbanger:SLAYER. the morn. :headbanger:
  23. aaaahhh. Ok. I undeerstand now. I was never entirely sure what that was relly all about. It did seem a bit brutal at the time tho. (If i remeber rightly).
  24. bye bye. No loss.
  25. On a totally optimistic note. Maybe this is wht AFC needs. Even if Cumming's doesnt succed in getting rid of Milne (speculating that that is what he is up to), it might force the current board to be a bit more pro-active in such things as communicating with the fan base and even force them into positive change, led by such people as share holders/supporters clubs?
