  1. suspected, tried and hung on the spot by the polis. The whole thing went way beyond jut being heavy handed. We we were facing up to them singing "we have you on camera"waiving mobile phones in thier direction. The heavy handedness stopped very quickly.
  2. I think the difference is that the tannadice lot accept that they need us there and subsequently put up with us and are more than happy to make our lives miserable in the ground. However, the dirty hun scum lot think they dont need u down there and see our presence at ibrox as a personal affront and because of this stoop to a totally different level of "low" to rile us and annoy us into dong something we shouldnt. For example, on my first trip to castle grey skull. after the game, I witnessed CID actively trying to provoke passing Aberdeen fans into confrontation by shoving them as hard as he could and telling them to "get the fuck out of here". On another trip, four mounted police chased a young lad, about 15 into the coach park. The boy was terrified. Most Aberdeen fans thought this was an excessive use of force and quite unnecessary. It nearly started a riot. They then charged at us when they got reinforcements. Telling you to continually sit down and annoying you is one thing, but the police around ibrox are utter, utter cunts.
  3. Like I said in the other post, when the tango man gets an idea into that fried head of his, he's like a dog with a bone. I expect to see the same back 4 tonight. I do wonder though, if he knows what his favoured line up will be and he is making sure that any replacements are more settled and so can work better as a unit if slotted in to cover injuries etc. Thats with my optimistic head though.
  4. I do think with Calderwood that is is all about the results and where we are at the end of the season that matters. What doesnt seem to matter to Calderwood is HOW we accomplish this. He keeps saying we will be playing, open, attacking fitba, but apart from the last 45 of Copo, I never saw evidenve of that. He sets out his team to churn and grind out results.
  5. One thing that irritataes about Calderwood though is that he will try something, it wont work and end up being a nightmare, but he will try to persevere with it, for whatever reason, whether its just to "make sure" it doesnt work , or to try and prove folk wrong, whatever. He seems to take an idea into his head and go with it relentlessly. until he has lost too many points or goals to be left with no other option but to change. Using Severin in defence is one example, using Duff is another. I expect to see a similar back line against Brechin the morn. Yay.
  6. Asking for patience BEFORE the season? That bodes well. Jesus Christ.
  7. Maguire needs time. Bloody hell, he's only 19! Good attitude though. Lets all get on the backs of the young players that we do actually bring through. That will work, fine, if you want them all to end up in ingland. There does seem to be a bit of a gap between players that we have brought through, McNaughton, Mackie, Anderson etc to the players that Miller says are goig through nto the U19's. Is that all down to how the youth systems been managed in that while, or is it simply that those players that have come through, are simply not good enough like Tenement sez. Incidentally, there is nothing wrong with ths statement. Its actually good to hear about positive investment in the Youth system, its what any other club n the land would do to build the confidence of the fans. What needs to be asked, however is, why did it get so behind in the first place?
  8. Its not a fair split then if tis 50% to the old firm. A chance to bring some parity to the league? No thanks. Its vital the biggots keep ahead of the rest. Remember, these are the same fucks that keep telling us that our league isnt competitive enough.
  9. The on line system gas been taken off for the night due t "technincal difficulties".
  10. Hmm, the enthusiasm to drive the plan forward is, afterall, breathtaking.
  11. They certaintly seem to have enough drive and ambition. If only that would spread northward along the coast...
  12. The very concept of us getting anywhere near the CL is fightening to be honest. Uefa, fair enough, but the CL? It would be embarassing.
  13. You could substitute just about any one of those gypes into that phrase. hnsen, motson etc.!! Lawrenson could hardly bring himself to the acceptance that Germany won tonight.
  14. 169. bbc and itv pundits unite in congratulating Germany in a fine win.
  15. Its off to the Gulag for Frail methinks.....
  16. Agreed. Which means that the pre-season friendlies will be quite interesting as to see how the team will be shaping up.
  17. There was a minor element of sarcasm to this post. I know, can be subtle when I want to be. Jimmy said he would bring in heaps and heaps of players. Now he is being selective and want to make sure of their quality. Which is fair enough. Time is also beginning to run out. what wont happn is we will be signing the exodus he said he would.
  18. Translation: I promised the fans a whole new team for next season to keep the support enthusiastic for the new season. However Milne is being his usual tight fisted self, despite the money I was promised and we wont have the number of players I want to bring in come the start of the season so the fans had better brace themselves for a dissapontment.
  19. Agreed wholeheartedly. We need to keep hold of him and let him develop. Properly.
  20. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/694163 morons are moaning about the fact it will be an early kick off. This witch hunt against the SPL will rumble on and on and on... Of course they are conveniently forgretting the fact that the league fixturea are (disgracefully) organised around two teams so that they have 2 home and 2 away games to their bastard half breed sisters.
  21. That copenhagen game will always have a special place in my heart...
  22. Alamo gets my vote. One of the girls at works other half is a social worker in Paisley. I asked if he knew the Alamo. She actually looked alarmed that not only did I know it but have actualy been in it!!
  23. Tricky one indeed. I had vote for both milne and macnamara. I despise both equally. At least we are shot of one of them tho!
  24. 154. rangers uresevedly apologies for fans behaviour and admit sectarianism is a problem.
  25. 128, Dons final push to lift all three domestic trophies after playing same back four four all season.
