Absolutely exudes class and just so calm under pressure Don't think any of us have any illusions that if it were not for the injury history he would be nowhere near Aberdeen Don't wish to tempt fate by starting this topic, but it is something that requires to be given a degree of thought. With each passing week we get nearer to the end of his short term deal. With each passing game he completes without issue he'll start to attract attention elsewhere and the danger is that someone starts sniffing around him. He wasn't on the books of an English Premiership team for no reason. The dilemma therefore as I see it is straight forward, at what point do we sit him down and put the contract extension to him and how do we balance the risk factor of contract length versus wage required to retain his services. There appears little doubt that Tommie is happy to be here and grateful to us for taking the risk on him but how much will that count for come the negotiations

Stumbled across this album whilst preparing my radio show yesterday morning. Remember this guy from the 70's as a country singer. Turns out he crossed the genres and this was his last album prior to his death and crossed over into Jazz Although not a live album, you just feel as if your sat in a late night jazz club with a pianist singing and a few guys playing behind him. Superb album and delighted to have found it. If you like your music with a jazz/blues/gospel feel to it, give it a listen

Premier Sports - highest bidder I'd imagine Amazing the time when there is no fans they some how manage to get a sensible kick off time for a Sunday semi final in Glasgow

So after this year's highly unusual scenario of virtually no one being out of contract in the summer, 2021 takes on a totally different look with a number of players currently being free to talk to other clubs in a matter of just over three months so here is the list together with my thoughts on what we should be doing with them. Tomas Cerny - Wanting to move back to central belt so thanks Tomas, a very able deputy but good bye Shay Logan - Club hold an option of a further year. A lot here depends upon Hernandez. If he can prove to be the replacement he should be given the price we paid then probably thanks for memories Shay Andrew Considine - Another where we hold a further year option. No brainer for me. Exercise the extension Michael Devlin - Bye bye Mikey. Ash Taylor - This is surely the one that will split decisions. Played well in first season back, but still prone to brain fart moments. If he keeps it simple then Taylor is competent enough against anyone bar possibly two teams in this league. Provided he realises his limitations and isn't on a massive wage then I'd keep him Connor McLennan - Has never quite kicked on. Probably put him out on loan before the end of this window and see how he gets on. Struggles to make a position in the team his own Ethan Ross - Two year extension. Needs game time so out on loan again Scott Wright - The one upon whom my opinion has changed. Get the contract extension in front of him now Miko Virtanen - on loan to Arbroath. Needs game time so loan the right thing for him. Don't know if he can make the step up but prepared to give him a one or two year extension in order to find out Curtis Main - Release Niall McGinn - Heart says extension, head says no extension. Will go for a one year deal Bruce Anderson- Had high hopes but not sure this boy is going to make it with us. Might well be another Shankland as in may require to drop down a level and get the shock of possibly having wasted his chance of making it to get his act together. Release

It was one of those games where in my opinion it was a case of no real failures rather than absolute standouts. Couple of really good partnerships developing within this team i.e. Fergie & McRorie and Wright & Hedges. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Wright & Hedges both looked like being out the door but are totally different players nowadays. Long may it continue guys. Hernandez didn't really have much to do when he came on so difficult to offer a critique.

Rarely spotted Hernandez going to get an outing ? Hoban off
-
3-0 Fergie
-
Penalty Vigurs off 2-0 Fergie
-
Agreed we genuinely have been a joy to watch. Wright and Hedges are like completely new players. A matter of a couple of months ago o doubt many of us would have cared less if they were moved on.

Goal Watkins
-
Forty minutes in No idea how this is goalless ?
-
Fucking hell, should be two up inside two minutes
-
My view on Hickey from what I havecseen of him is that he definitely possesses potential He is still very young with only around 40 senior games under his belt but des appear to have an old head on this uoung shoulders With the right development and management I imagine he could go a long way in th game.

Absolutely fucking mental stuff at Brighton. Home side hit the woodwork FIVE times and have a penalty award over turned by VAR. Man Utd have two goals ruled out Utd lead 2-1 gong into five minutes of injury time. Brighton are awarded a penalty and score in the 95th minute. Game over you'd think ? Wrong. Ref plays on and blows whistle in 99th minute but wait assistant had flagged for an offence and the referee awards a penalty after checking VAR which they convert. Absolutely fucking mental as I said
-
Thought he had really settled into the game well and was competent without being flash but you're right he did lose Campbell for the goal. Some finish though
-
Almost 30 minutes in and by fuck it's a physical game. Both teams should be down to ten.
-
MxKenna looks as if he is shiting himself in the tunnel
-
McKenna starts I'm going to miss Corrie then
-
Not sure why that would drive you to stop supporting Aberdeen. Personally I think it would be magical for the Faroese team to make it and just goes to show that it's not impossible given the luck of the draw. Maybe we should be looking at their manager as a successor to McInnes given he would have experience of a higher level European football?
-
Bizarrely Tup, I had literally just checked to see if that game was on Sky or BT tonight. Like you, I'll check the team lines and either watch or switch o'er to Corrie

Day 11 of self isolation for me Out (obviously) Twiddling my thumbs Watching match via stream Twiddling my thumbs again 1-2 ( Hedges & Considine)
-
Summed up perfectly in my eyes there L A Don. We never showed any REAL intent or belief. This was a great chance to beat a higher ranked team
-
Agree with A.D on that point
-
No point in losing 1-0 without looking like winning at any time Might as well lose by having a go I'm not one for normally having a go at them, but tonight I feel justified.
-
Disagree Tup We are ten competitive games into our season. Playing against a team playing their first competitive game of their season and we don't force their keeper into making a save. Unacceptable in my opinion
