  1. Same team again So much for the in the know who claimed McLennan was out for up to twelve weeks
  2. Totally agree with your middle paragraph TC. Whilst they are within their rights not to say, it is also the club's right to play hardball.
  3. If true then that constitutes "tapping up" Can you clarify what you mean by unannounced ?
  4. Saw the McLennan post o'er on The Hat early this morning. Given source andfact no one has nibbled, I took it with a pinch of salt.
  5. Increasingly think that Lowe will not be with us after January, so thought turn to who could potentially replace him. wE all love to play laptop manager, so who does everyone think could replace him ? Think in Jan window a permanaent signing is unlikely so looks like it would need to be another loan signing. Let me start it off, with suggesting Tony Gallacher from Liverpool. Young Scottish left back previously played for Falkirk. Unlikely to get even a sniff of first team action with Andy Robertson having made that position his own. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Gallacher
  6. 100% agree with that. Unless I'm mistaken young Ferguson has started every game this aseason. Now I know he's got age on his side, but is increaingly looking like he needs a break. This a guy that had only played something like 15 games in the top league prior to joining us in the summer.
  7. As a 50 something male, i probably shouldn't BUT I fucking love this track
  8. Actually, you're right, I was being kind At times today he was shite
  9. Poor performance today, but would still be happy to see him sign on the dotted line.
  10. Just home, fucking frozen, so beers required and then a few shorts. Thoroughy deserved victory in extremely difficult conditions. Quoting TC as I said to my son on the 80 minute mark that I thought Sam Cosgrove was our MOTM. Fucking outstanding performance capped by his goal Special mention to Stevie May who had another good game. Thought Logan had a good game as well. Took almost 20 minutes to get back to the car because the road was flooded under the railway bridge. Not for the first time to be honest Anyway onwards and upwards COYR
  11. Well what else could it be tonight
  12. Friends with a few St Mirren supporters who are all of the opinion that Kearney is fighting with one hand tied behind his back on account of the crock of shite Stubbs left behind him and it will take a least two transfer windows for him to have any chance of sorting it out.
  13. Contract runs through until 2020 from memory. Think it was a six year deal.
  14. Not until Alan Gow is linked first
  15. Yep heard similar. That boat has well and truely sailed now so onto new targets. I assume that that we have some
  16. So onto Paisley on Saturday in a busy month of fixtures. Although we've beaten them comfortably twice already this season not sure it'll be as straightforward on Saturday. If however we turn up from the start and play with the intesity of last night's second half then I expect us to be leaving with three points. As said in the Livi thread, same team as started second half last night unless of course Devlin is 100% recovered in which case he comes in for Considine In Driving Away End Driving 1-2 ( Cosgrove & May)
  17. By christ that went to the wire didn't it. Glad I perservered with watching online. Second half performance was more like it. Bit of dubiety about the corner the goal came from but that only served to highlight two things. Thomson is incompetent (some ludicrous decisions over the course of the game) and also that for once a team hell bent on time wasting got their just desserts. Onwards to Paisley on Saturday and has made up my mind to attend. Same team that played the second half from the off on Saturday please.
  18. Can't actually believe that I'm watching this shite
  19. " Coinciding with his peak as a billiards player, Davis's interests shifted to snooker and he helped to organise the first snooker world championship in 1927 and won the tournament by beating Tom Dennis, for which he won UK£6 10s.He went on to win the world championship every year until 1940. Joe's brother Fred, twelve years his junior, was also a snooker player and multiple World Champion. When Joe met Fred in the world championship final of 1940, Joe won 37–36. Following the outbreak of World War II the world championship was not held for the next five years. On resumption in 1946, Davis defended his title making it his 15th consecutive win and thereby holding the title for 20 straight years. To date, he has won more world championships than any other player. He retired from the event following this victory making him the only undefeated player in the history of the world championships." Fifteen yes FIFTEEN consecutive titles and never defeated in World Championship. As they say in life you can only beat what is put in front of you or piss with the cock you're born with. Hardly his fault the Ronnie O'sullivan didn't come along until later. I'm still putting Joe ahead of The Rocket a man who disrespected the sport that earned him a fortune
