  1. Whats the script with Scott McKenna Was apparently one of the most promising central defenders in the country about three years ago. Is he ever going ot make the step up to first team action or is playing for thel ikes of Ayr United his true level
  2. Probably wouldn't argue with your team selection. Guess it does pick itself given Stockley's suspension, as only change to that might have been him in place of Rooney. However McInnes might just fancy throwing in Maynard as he will be a complete unknown entity to the Bosnians as well as our support Out Work Picking up a stream if available (anyone please feel free to point me in right direction) Bed 3-0 ( Stewart, Tansey & Rooney (pen)), although no necessarily in that order.
  3. Aye thought that DD I'm '62 vintage You ?

Always liked Nadal. If its not Murray this year, then hope it's Rafa
  8. See McNaughton has decided to retire from football As he has said himself how appropriate that it all ended back where it began, in a Dons shirt. Great player for us in his time, and eveything I've ever read about his time at Cardiff says how highly he was regarded down there. Thanks for the memories Kevin
  9. Just taking the piss mate Hopefully
  10. So this happens on the day that it is revealed that we have had a bid for Moult rejected by Motherwell. Begs the question is this because of the bid rejection or were we always after both of them ? Could it be tha Maynard is a sto gap until we can get May or Moult on a pre contract come January window, hence only one year contract ? Fit's yer thoughts guys
  11. Had a petty decent scoring record early in his career, but certainly not latterly. See he is another one that has a cruciate ligament injury.
  12. 16 goals in last 118 games..... Bit of a letdown after links to May & Moult However in Derek I trust, so welcome on board loon.
  13. Not keen on the ones with onions in them
  14. Back on track http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/strip-rangers-titles-after-big-10748117 This ought to tip 100%AK over the edge
  15. See what you missed out on The price of youth mate
  16. Ah, think you're right mate Silly me, thinking abody went as far back as myself. In that case the 2008 game against Bayern doesn't make my top four, but might sneak in at number five. Either that or Juventus 1-1 in 1971 where the then world's most expensive player (Anastasi) played and scored for them. Well over 30,000 inside Pittodrie that night.
  17. Intersting post SeeBass. I assume we are only including home matches ? Whilst the Bayern game will live with me forever, I'm actually going to go for the following round against Waterschei. European semi final, 24,000 in the ground and we come flying out of the traps with and go 2-0 up inside FOUR minutes. It really doesn't get any better and when that second goal went in it was the moment that a 21 year old actually started to beleive we had a chance of winning this trophy. Second place would be the Bayern night, a night when we twice looked ertain to be going out and in the end blew them away. Third equalI'd go with Copenhagen. Fantastic atmosphere, had been years since we did anything in Europe and suddenly we're hrough to the last thirty two with a rematch against Bayern to look forward to. Alongside it, it simply has to be Ipswich in 1981. Peter Weir's finst ninety minutes in an Aberdeen shirt.
  18. Taylor has signed for Northampton. Big step up for Ash. Is he capable of playing at this level ?
