  1. So we get ONE fact i.e. the McInnes interview and you got the most important part of that wrong. Fair made my day. Well done
  2. So to quote you "I don't like the truth" Just asking where is the factual evidence that you are telling the truth as oppossed to merely stating opinions
  3. Hearsay...every word. Not one statement backed up with conclusive evidence. Pawlett left for regular football, the fact he might get better money is an added bonus Hayes left because he is a Celtic supporter. Again the wage increase is an added bonus Pretty much same could be said about "Union" other than he is a Sevco supporter not a Howker Remind me how much extra money McGinn and Taylor currently stand to earn next month Spot on
  4. Pray share your inside knowledge of terms offered to signings. If you choose not to I will presume you have no such knowledge and your comments are without foundation
  5. Aye Portland Park normally in good nick, hence Scotland tend to train there or Somerset park ahead of home games.
  6. Five years ago today saw the passing of Mr Aberdeen. RIP Teddy
  7. Sweeping statement Fyvie's career at Pittodrie wasn't helped by being dicked about by Wee Craigy
  8. Sevco V team from Luxembourg is an interesting tie. Two teams that have NEVER won a game in European competition
  9. You done it yet mate ? Take the rest of the day off if you have mate EDIT: Barnsley supposedly sniffing about now as well
  10. Have heard that one together with he knew the job was too big for him and thats why he bottled making the move. Wankers the lot of them Manc.
  11. Delighted to have been proved correct. Just gut feeling told me that just too MANY things about The Mackems weren't right and have always believed that SIR Derek (and yes he deserves that title) is an intelligent and astute individual and would be able to see all the inherent pitfalls that could ruin his career and weigh that up against making a quick buck. Also have heard, rightly or wrongly that Doc was never really in favour of moving there.
  12. +1 Huns I work with are postively seething this morning
  13. Have heard worse suggestions. Thing is Douglas appears to be one of these footballers that seems to be happy travelling around Europe playing his football, learning new languages and experiemcing different cultures going by an article I read online about him a few weeks back. Added to that, think he is under contract currently in Turkey and not sure what kind of fee he would command
  14. Expect we'll hear of a Derek and Doc signing a contract extension on improved terms in the next couple of days. Got to also think the recruitment drive will move into overdrive in the next week or so as reckon he is so professional that moves will have been happening whilst all of this was going on.
  15. Turning into a good week isn't it. Don't suppose there's any turning back for Johnny Hayes
  16. Lets kick on Signings in next few days hopefully
  17. Deserves it's own thread He's staying
  18. Thought they were holding out for circa £750k. Regardless of who our manager is or isn't, we need a central defender in to replace Taylor. Would have thought that Lindsay is worth a punt at that sort of money
  19. If you've got a spare ten minutes then click on this link, sit back and have a right good laugh. Plymouth fans views on Adams touting himself for the Aberdeen job. http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=99878&start=143 P.S Quote from first post on page twelve: "McInnes was paid £700k a year by Aberdeen and Adams would increase his wage by around £600k per annum by taking the job"
  20. The problem here Bobby is that there is so much shite printed in the media you just don't know what to believe. I do however have a sneaky feeling that DM is too bright to join a basket case such as Sunderland even with the wages they're likely to offer. As I've said he should probably see whats on offer wages wise, what commitments they're preapred to make in terms of expectations, timescales and budgets and then pick up the phone and have a chat with David Moyes and compare wht was said to him at time of taking the job. Maybe I'm optimistic here and got my head buried in the sand but I still cling to the hope that he'll talk to them, turn it down and we'll offfer him and Doc a contract extension on improved terms with ome form of release compensation clause included in it
  21. Both teams playing in Europe, so guess it is just to get a game under our belts. Probably non contact game.
