  1. You know Rocket, there are times you can be an arse AND then there are times when you can put things ever so eloquently. Think we all know which one this is. Powerful words RS
  2. Gave Neil Simpson his first professional contract ?
  3. Had the pleasure, and it was a pleasure to have business dealings with Billy and he was an absolute gentleman and a very articulate and polite individual. He loved his time at Aberdeen and readily admitted he wouldn't have left us for anyone other than Celtic. RIP Mr McNeill
  4. Can't really argue with any of that. Fucking brutal game McLean has not got a fucking clue out there and is going to even it up given half a chance.
  5. McLeish punted - confirmed
  6. Sorry to see him go, but by fuck thats a bigger move than I thought he'd get. Good luck to him, will go with my best wishes
  7. Considine offered new contract allegedly
  8. Class Mini
  9. Confused mate. Were his Dryburgh appearances included in his 300 games ?
  10. AFC Heritage states 199 in 300 games I'd go with this SeeBass
  11. Christ, Gleeson getting a 25 minute run out
  12. Thought it looked soft on first viewing, but think Ferguson was clever and drew the foul
  13. Out Golf Hopefully picking up a stream Home having a snooze 2-0 (Cosgrove & Ferguson)
  14. Massive rebuilding job ahead of McInnes this summer. Summary of today's rumblings from the tabloids McInnes about ready to give up on the attempt to get Shug on a pre contract As Slim says above we're after Main on freedom of contract (no thank you from me) Apparently we have offered Stewart a FOUR YEAR contract but he will be announced as a HUN in the next twenty four hours on a three year deal. Make of it all as you will
  15. Leaves with nothing but best wishes from my viewpoint. Was a step up for us when we got him back in the day but probably best for both parties.
  16. Definitely a player in there and loved his attitude, but can we really afford to take a chance on a player who has now done both knees. Shame really, but guess if he stayed fit he'd have been nowhere near us in the first place. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4052196/tommie-hoban-aberdeen-watford-transfer-news-derek-mcinnes-pittodrie/
  17. Agree with both of the above. Keep it going MBT
  18. There are no words available to me to sum this up: https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/scotland/next-permanent-manager
  19. Part of me feels sorry for McLeish but he was never right for the position when he was given it. Heads should have rolled over the O'Neill fiasco. Patently McLeish was second choice (at best), the support never backed him and frankly he has proved he was never up to the position in the first place. Against that, if someone came along when you were out of work and offered you a nice little contract, then I would suggest all of us would take it. I have zero faith in those in the corridors of power to get this right with the next appointment. Who would want it ? Who would take it ? Who is available that is a reasonable option ? Fucked if I know, looks like another wait to qualify for a major tournament is on the cards and my apathy towards the national team will continue.
