  1. Agreed, see my comments in match thread
  2. Haven't had a chance to put my spin on the game yet and glad I read through the thread prior to doing so as only really need to quote Slim who has summed it up perfectly for me. Found the selection totally baffling, and it was evident long before we conceded that it patently wasn't working. In fairness to McInnes he at least made the first substitutions at least twenty minutes earlier than normal. Can't let the performance of Joe Lewis pass without mentioning what I've been thinking for a number of weeks now, there isn't a keeper in the SPL I would swap him for, and the beauty this time is he is actually ours

  4. E mail form the club re Cup Final tickets basically saying dinnae phone them All queries regarding Cup Final tickets, Loyalty Points and Client Reference Numbers should be directed via e-mail to ticketoffice@afc.co.uk They will then be dealt with next week ahead of tickets going on sale. Please avoid calling the Club ahead of tomorrow's big match with Celtic as all resources need to be directed towards the sale of match tickets. League Cup Final FAQ's - http://www.afc.co.uk/news/8665

    WYOWYN Friday

Ending the working week on a high Absolute class. Voted sexiest ever TV star in 2002 poll. YES YES & YES AGAIN
  7. I don't get too many home games (three so far this season just) but by buying my tickets for away games via AFC it has ensured that I am in category two and able to put my plans in place for 27th November safe in the knowledge I am getting a ticket
  8. Europe - Sign of the Times
  9. Bellestars - Sign of the Times Beat that lads
  10. There is no denying Turnbull's contribution to the good ship AFC but original poster started with Ally. If you include Turnbull you would also require to include Bonthrone
  11. Seems pretty fair to me but sure plenty of folk will disagree Betfred Cup Final Aberdeen v Celtic Sunday 27th November, 3pm KO Hampden Park, Glasgow The Club can now confirm the ticketing process for our forthcoming Betfred Cup Final against Celtic at Hampden. Tickets will be made available based on the number of Loyalty Points that each supporter has built-up from July last year. The Loyalty Points system is now in its third season and was designed specifically to deal with occasions such as this where there will be a high demand for tickets. After careful consideration the Loyalty Point thresholds have been set at a level where we can guarantee supporters in Phase One and Phase Two a ticket for this match. Supporters can of course add to their Loyalty Points total before tickets for the match go on sale by purchasing tickets for our forthcoming fixtures. Supporters who fall short of the Loyalty Points total for Phase One and Phase Two can purchase a Mid-season ticket before Monday 7th November to guarantee their cup final ticket. See full details below. Pittodrie Chief Executive Duncan Fraser commented. "Having witnessed the numbers who travelled to Parkhead for the League Cup Final two years ago, we are well aware that demand will outstrip supply and the method of distribution will ensure that our supporters who have demonstrated their loyalty to the team will be able to attend. "As stated earlier this week, we are content with the allocation the Club has received and indeed guaranteed the cost of the tickets allocated to strengthen our case for parity." ON SALE DATES Phase One - Tickets will exclusively go on sale to supporters with 60+ Loyalty Points at 9am on Saturday 5th November. Phase Two - Supporters with 20 or more Loyalty Points will be able to purchase tickets online from 5.30pm on Tuesday 8th November. 12. Aye min, I stand corrected it was McDiarmid Park not Muirton. The brains nae fit it used to be. Think it was either their first or second season in the new ground, late September 1990. Sure it was nothing each at the time and Davie Robertson got send off and our arse collapsed.
  13. Fucking shocking statistic but doesn't come as any great surprise as mankind continues to do its best to destroy all around it. On a light note however, I take it spiders aren't included in there as there seems to have een a huge amount of the fuckers about this year. Then again I am close to a site where new houses are going up and I suppose it could be down to them being disturbed by that. Also I saw a wasp yesterday afternoon....I mean it's almost November. The seasons are fucked up these days.
  14. Wigan to present Breadman with his ticket back doon sooth (allegedly).
  15. I was there that day at Muirton also. Used to have nightmares for years afterwards about it Regarding Gillhaus even if he hadn't decided tha he waned out within months of joining us, he certainly did once Nicholas left to rejoin The Victims and upon relfection we should have cashed in on him very soon after that as his heart clearly wasn't in it any more
  16. Half a life time mate
  17. Ok, took my time to think this one through and here goes Ally MacLeod 6 (thoroughly nice man and delivered a trophy) Billy McNeill 3 (signed Strachan & Archibald and probably statred the good times rolling. Was pretty upset when he left) Alex Ferguson 1 (on a different planet ot other contenders) Ian Porterfield 10 (managed to fuck up a good squad) Alex Smith and Jocky Scott 2 Willie Miller 5 (as has been said, early days had us playing great fitba) Roy Aitken 8 (delivered a trophy, but fuck me, some of his signings ) Alex Miller 13 (would have been last, but Dingus just shades it for being a total cunt towards all things AFC) Ebbe Skovdahl 11 Steve Paterson 12 (can probably remember more about his time in charge than he can ) Jimmy Calderwood 7 (initially brought back a degree of respectability) Mark McGhee 14 Craig Brown 9 (McGinn, Hayes and made us more difficult to beat, but boring) Derek McInnes 4 (potential to go higher)

  19. Could easily have gone in 70's guilty pleasure thread. This song holds very very special memories for me. Xmas 1976 and my first true love (excluding AFC obviously). Maureen you know who you are and hope you're out there and life has been good to you Fuck me, feeling all sentimental sitting typing this, is it really forty years ago

Not having a good week on the WYOWYN front. Another resounding no from Al. Four in a row unless I'm grossly mistaken
  21. Agree with Stupie.....don't trust anything a Victim says. However in unlikely event of bring true, wonderful news, as shows the state they're in again
  22. Appears as if both Griffiths & Gordon could and should have been off tonight and yet neither were. Anyone care to off odds on how important a part they will play in Saturday's game ?
  23. Have watched all series of Suits on Netflix. Have to say really enjoyed it Manc.
  24. Fair enough provided the Victims had to do the same for their 50%
