  1. Just home. Dominated all over the park and result never in doubt. Could have been 6 or 7 easily James Maddison outstanding. And lastly Willie Collum probably had the best refereeing performance I have ever seen from him
  2. Shocking title Manc In Golf Away End Home 3-1 (Rooney, McLean & Logan) Agree about Hayes, don't think it is worth risking him om that surface. Get Burns on from the start in his place. Also wonder if we might actually see Storie & Storey at some point tomorrow.
  3. Huge hole in the middle of park yesterday that he would have filled. To be honest probably missed Flood as well, as surely he'd have been running about getting in their faces insteaf of standing off letting them play
  4. Excellent post Bobby and sums it up perfectly in my view. Hugely frustrated frustrated with our performance for large spells of the game, backing off and backing off inviting them on top of us. Have heard it suggested that that was the game plan of McInnes to allow them loads of possession, if so, personally don't like that, but ultimately we got the result and given the opposition yesterday I guess thats all that really mattered. Plenty of banter on A90 south after game with scarves out the car window, most of it pretty good natured. Stopped at lights at Altens, and a Mercedes pulls up alongside, driver leans across and signals to put down window. Wagner (X Factor) lookalike leans across and shouts "wankers". My boy quick as flash shouts back, thats nothing compared to you mate, you're a HUN wanker Could feel the seethe all the way down the road, before we lost them at Brian Grant's McDonalds.
  5. Classic. Can feel the seething from here.
  6. On selfish note kick off time doesn't bother me BUT agree going to make for a shite atmosphere. Shouldn't be anyone needing to press that big red panic button over ticket availability though.
  7. 12.15 pish I'm afraid Tom
  8. Strikers: Rooney 5 Burns 1 Stockley 2 Storey 1 Midfielders: Hayes 1 McGinn 4 McLean 1 Maddison 1 Defenders: Logan 1
  9. No match thread yet and rightly so as last game only less than 24 hours ago. This is the game that most of us have been waiting for, if only to gub the bastards. West coast media have done their utmost to stoke the flames, what with their articles with Fergushun going on about Durranty and how he never knew what it was like to be hated until he walked onto Pittodrie wearing the Oldco strip. In A90 - Abusing the unwashed ones Dick Donald A90 - Further abuse and gloating 3-0 (Maddison, Considine & McGinn) Bring it on COYR
  10. Thought you are i were of same vintage Rocket. I can start taking my private pensions next year, but thanks to changes in State Pension age, I've got almost thirteen years to afore I get a penny of that. Pity the young fuckers starting out now, they'll be working into heir early to mid seventies before they get it.
  11. Thats the prices ALL top league matches should be charged at
  12. Out Work BT Sport Bed 3-2 (Hayes, Storey & Logan)
  13. Cunt back in the day and still a cunt now. Typical Weegie media, started stirring the pot. If you want to know where it started try going back another ten years before this. ======================================================== Former Rangers captain Barry Ferguson says there is "a nastiness" attached to Aberdeen versus Rangers fixtures as the teams prepare to meet for the first time in four years on Sunday. Rangers travel to face the Dons after a difficult start to the season, and Ferguson says it was not always an enjoyable experience at Pittodrie. "It is a place you go to and you don't feel very welcome," said Ferguson. "There is a nastiness about the fixture." Speaking on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound, the Clyde manager added: "That's not with the staff. They are fine. It's with the fans. "Obviously it goes back to the days of what happened with (Ian) Durrant. "I always found it a very difficult place to go and especially now with Del (manager Derek McInnes) being there, I watched their game against Dundee, and they are back firing. "They are looking good. The front three I really like - Hayes, McGinn and Rooney are always looking a threat. "It is going to be a tough game." Mark Warburton's side have come in for criticism for their performances since promotion to the Premiership, which culminated in a 5-1 hammering at rivals Celtic in their recent league outing. Ferguson believes his old Ibrox team-mate McInnes will have his Aberdeen players primed for the visit of Rangers, but thinks Rangers could exploit weaknesses in the Dons defence. He said: "The only problem I have with Aberdeen is that defensively they don't look great, but going forward they are a major threat. "So it is a massive game next weekend. It is a very hostile place to go and it boils down to what happened with Durranty - it has always been like that. "I know Del really well - obviously I played with him - and I really like the way he is setting his teams up, his signing policy. "He's not got a lot of money to play about with, but he's got some real good players. "I really like the look of the boy he's brought in from Norwich, the midfielder (James) Maddison - he looks a player. "Del has an eye for a player and Rangers will have their work cut out, but I can't wait. "It should be a cracker."

  15. Get this part. Glad it was an enjoyable trip
  16. Rest my case re optimism. Don't like Strachan, don't rate him and don't think him and Magoo will take us anywhere. Will eat very humble pie if proved wrong?
  17. 5-1 await the outpouring of mass optimism and belief. Strachan is still an incompetent cunt in my book.
  18. For the a oidance of any doubt...... Chesney can fuck right off. Tierney withdraws and Hun Wallace gets the call. Don't even start me on the Tony Watt call up.
  19. Mmmm, Chesney to cap the most expensive Scottish player ever......the boy has surely blown his chances by leaving the Championship
  20. Lol, took you long enough to notice
  21. Raises a couple of valid points for me. Don't think Mulgrew was ever a serious option.....wages, fact he was disliked during his time here, past his sell by date etc etc. Think cheap journalism or social media speculation at best. The lack of rumours over signings is a worry, but McInnes and AFC have a track record of keeping things under wraps until last minute and then just announcing the signing. Lets all hope this is indeed the case this time around, as at least one midfielder required before close of window.
  22. Well almost time for our first game of the season against them already. No great hopes this time around, although do believe they as seriously suspect at the back and we willscore against them. Would appear likely that O'Connor will be moved out of central defence into midfield which means Taylor and Reynolds as defensive pairing. Going to predict our usual reduction to ten men against them and Shay Logan to be subjected to constant barracking from the minky mob followers. Out Golf Golf Finishing round of golf 3-1 to them (McGinn, followed by an apology)
