  1. Told you..... Never in any doubt lads
  2. Rocket my comment was tongue in cheek. My apparent optimism was more bravado then belief. Do however think that the pressure in firmly on United and would love to bring their apparent revival to an end. COYR
  3. Out Work Listening online Bed 3-1 (Church, McGinn & Pawlett) Too much negativity in this thread
  4. Ah but Taylor is Plan B When we're toiling throw him up front
  5. Spoken to police after the game at Tynecastle about alleged racial abuse by Hearts supporters. Sure there will be much more on this later today.
  6. Think it's a given that we will be facing Scotland's newest club again next season. Guess the only consolation ID that none of The Orc's supporters will be darkrning our stadium when their team come to town.
  7. McInnes saying that he can't be certain on the penalty decision but is going on about managing out the game yet again. Getting pretty sick of this "managing out" games Surely the only way to manage out games is to score goals and put yourselves out of sight of the opposition.
  8. Yet another chance blown The story of the season I'm afraid Can't say I fancy us on Wednesday at Tannadice
  9. Couldn't have put it better myself
  10. Rooney has a torn thigh muscle and expected to be out for around six weeks
  11. As a club we have a major goalkeeping crisis ahead of us in the summer Brown out of contract Rogers out of contract Collin loan period ends Aussie keeper out of contract Presume there is a plan to cover this scenario
  12. Haven't really heard the ins and outs of this story, but seems to be a strong suggestion that the BBC have made a scapegoat of Tony Blackburn and announced his sacking to take the headlines and cover up their failings to accept any fault for what went on under their watch by Saville and Hall.
  13. Excellent news Lets hope he kicks on
  14. Having read your post, I am going to change my view. You are right to highlight the difference between incompetence and corrupt. One thing we can all agree upon though is that they are both shite referees !
  15. I actually think his consistent level of fuck up's makes him even worse than McCurry. Got to wonder what the real cause of our inability to produce decent referees in this country is
  16. Read all three when they came out and generally enjoyed them. If you like these see my post from 8th Feb and give that triology a go
  17. Similar article in today's Retard: Aberdeen defender Shay Logan: Champions League chance would keep me at Pittodrie 06:00, 15 FEB 2016 BY MICHAEL GANNON THE right back is out of contract at the end of the season and admits that winning the league and qualifying for the Champions League would convince him to stay. SHAY LOGAN insists a crack at the Champions League could convince him to sign a new contract at Pittodrie. The Aberdeen full back’s deal is up in the summer and he’s considering his future with his young family in England. Logan is keeping his options open but he admitted the Dons winning the title would make it impossible to leave. Aberdeen are looking to go level with Celtic at the top tonight with a win in Inverness. Logan admitted he is loving life at Pittodrie - and he’s relighting being in a title fight. He said: “Champions League might make it a heck of a difference. That would be a massive thing. “It’s still to be confirmed. I have yet to speak to the manager but I am sure that will happen in the next few weeks. “I love playing for Aberdeen. I love the city and the people in it. I’m part of a great bunch of lads and I get on with everyone from the cleaners who come to my house to the ground staff who I talk to daily. “I love it - and that’s why it’s going to be a big decision. “I’ll have to take real consideration as to what I do.” Logan admitted he has family issues with three young kids - but that won’t be the only consideration when weighing up his future. He said: “Yeah, people say my family is down south, but I played down in London for three years before I came here so I have been away for a long time. “People need to understand that football is a short career. My family will always be there but football won’t. “That has to come in to my decision. It will be on all aspects. It won’t be taken lightly. “Anyone who has kids knows it’s tough. It’s not like people who work offshore and don’t see them for two or three weeks. “Obviously it’s not the best but you have to think of your career. The family are a bit part of the decision but not the only factor. “I don’t know what I am going to do yet. I just take every day as it comes and enjoy every moment. “I’ve always got a smile on my face because I enjoy being in this place.” Logan insisted boss Derek McInnes is another huge reason for the pull of staying at Pittodrie and he rates the gaffer as the best he has played under. He said: “I can see where Derek and Tony Docherty are taking the club. “In terms of manager’s, for me he is top. No doubt. His man management towards me has been second to none. “It could be a day off or asking how I am, he’s been brilliant. Tony Doc is the same, we’ve had a good few games of golf and we talk about things away from football. “I have massive respect for the pair of them. “That’s another massive factor with me as they have done so well for me. “I’ve been at clubs when I’ve been playing well but not seeing eye-to-eye with the manager. You want to have a good relationship. “I’ve always respected every manager but you like some more than others. “Derek McInnes has been excellent for me - I couldn’t have asked for more.”
  18. Whatever happened to Seebass Fair made me smile Rocket. Love the thought of it actually happening
  19. Think Logan is in line for a suspension unless I'm mistaken
  20. Interesting trialist with over 200 first team games in Italy and Greece under his belt. Is this us planning for life after Logan ? According to wikipedia he is under contract until end of June 2016 so must have been released early.
  21. Ok have now read the first book in this trilogy and it is an absolutely cracking read. If you like your Nordic Noir then this is for you. Third part not being released until the summer but can't wait for it http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sebastian-Bergman-Hjorth-Rosenfeldt-ebook/dp/B0085NZQOO/ref=pd_sim_351_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=5152ImspW-L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR102%2C160_&refRID=1TR49XMEK4EG4MYEHBFR
  22. Talk is cheap, lets just get it done PLEASE Copy and paste from Evening Depress Aberdeen youngster Craig Storie today said he wants to pledge his long-term future to the club. The 20-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, has started the Dons’ last three league games, including the crucial midweek 2-1 victory over Celtic at Pittodrie. While Aberdeen were bitterly disappointed to miss out on signing Inverness Caley Thistle midfielder Greg Tansey on transfer deadline day after making a £200,000 swoop, Storie is proving himself to be a more than capable option in the middle of the park. The Carluke-born player looked comfortable going head-to-head with Scotland skipper Scott Brown in the heart of midfield as the Dons cut down the Hoops’ lead at the top of the Premiership table to just three points. Sitting alongside Kenny McLean, Storie once again delivered a tenacious and composed performance in the holding midfield role, following equally impressive displays against Ross County and Dundee. Storie admits he hopes his performances will be enough to persuade boss Derek McInnes to hand him a new deal at the club. “My contract is up in the summer, so I need to keep playing well and hopefully get a new contract at the end of the season,” Storie said. “I think I have a great chance here playing under Derek, so I would love a new contract to stay on.” The midfielder is finally starting to show the Red Army what made Sir Alex Ferguson try to sign him for Manchester United in 2012. After a trial with the three-time European champions, the then 16-year-old spurned the Red Devils’ offer to instead sign terms with the Dons. However, despite Derek McInnes handing him his first-team debut against Kilmarnock in April 2013, on-off injury woe over the following two years prevented him from building on his early potential. But Storie insisted he has had no regrets about turning down the English giants, especially after getting the chance to play in a top-of-the-table clash with Celtic. “It proves I made the right decision as I have started playing now,” Storie added. “I can’t imagine I would be playing down there, so I think I made the right decision to stay here. “I have had to bide my time and wait for my chance until the gaffer put me in. “But I think I have done well the last three games I have played – the gaffer obviously thinks the same by putting me in for such a big game against Celtic. “He actually didn’t tell me I was playing, he only told me an hour before kick-off and I think that helped me – although I had been thinking about it all week. “It has been a great experience playing in such big games. “It is a lot better than playing Under-20s. “I always had the belief I could play at this level. “The aim is to keep my place now and play as many games as I can until the end of the season.”
  23. Started quietly last night but grew into the game as time went on. Thought he had a great second half and didn't look overawed in the slightest. Possibly lacks a bit of pace, but that can be worked on. He has had a tough time with injuries and that probably has held him back a bit over the years. He is out of contract in the summer and potentially free to talk to others right now. Personally have seen enough in the last three games to justify the improved terms contract, and would sincerely hope that the management team are working on this in the background already.
  24. Having a wee look to see if ICT had a fans forum and stumbled across this. Seems the loathing of all things Aberdeen have sunk to a new low. Appears to be some absolute roasters on this site. http://caleythistleonline.com/topic/30242-greg-tansey/
