  1. Don't know much about this lad, and probably shouldn't prejudge BUT a quick look at his career stats doesn't fill me with great excitement......2 goals in 30 games If we get genuinely want him and get him I'll be delighted to be proved wrong and eat some humble pie
  2. LEEDS are among a host of English clubs eyeing a possible swoop for Falkirk goalie Danny Rogers. The keeper is on loan from Aberdeen and has been in stunning form for the Bairns this season. His brilliant last gasp save from Martyn Waghorn's penalty saw Peter Houston's side beat Rangers last month. His displays — which have helped the club into second spot in the Championship — haven't gone unnoticed by clubs south of the border either. The Elland Road aces are thought to be keen on the Republic of Ireland Under-21, whose Dons deal expires in the summer. Championship rivals Reading, Bristol City and Preston are also understood to be interested. The Dons have confirmed they won't recall Rogers, 21, after Liverpool allowed Danny Ward to see out the season at Pittodrie. =========== I'm hope if we have any intention of trying to keep Rogers that the management team are all over this like a rash....

  4. FFS Jack done his hamstring, however allows Pawlett on to run at Thistle
  5. When that happens we tend to turn up in the second half. Hopefully that pattern will follow tonight
  6. Official site says no plans for inspection this afternoon. Aberdeen v Partick Thistle: Game ON 30 December 2015 12:25By AFC Media Team AFC Please note tonight's game at Pittodrie against Partick Thistle remains ON and at present there are no plans for a pitch inspection. Reckon it wasn't this Motorhead gig I was at. Think they played at the Capitol in late 1979 and also late in 1980 and reckon it was the second one I was at Rocket

Must have been more pissed than I realised, either that or I completely missed the support act. Definitely saw Saxon as support to someone around that time at the Capitol
  13. Summer of 2018 Tyrant, so two and half years.
  14. Horrible horrible little man See they had him on tv yesterday for the Tribute Act game yesterday. Nothing he said or did made me dislike him any less
  15. Obviously lived through the Forest era. Sound like a good view so will give it a go Bobby
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-35169108 Interesting read. the elder ones amongst us (me, Rocket & MBT) will remember the '74 World Cup and East playing West. Nobody gave the East Germans a chance but they came out on top.
  17. Not sure about English clubs moving for Rooney giving his past history down there. Concerned however that The Howkers could come in with a bid for him as proven goalscorer in SPL and without The Thumb they have very little else.

Was there in late '79 at the Capitol as well Rocket. Woke up the following morning with a ringing noise in my ears. Am I havering or did Saxon support them that night

    Xmas.

Merry Xmas one and all Have a good one lads.
  20. Interesting that only one goalkeeper is in the numbers 11-40. Expected that one of the Andy Goram's would be in top ten. Right few goalies missing so far, Leighton, Snelders, Boruc, Klos and Gordon (Hearts days). Derek Johnstone on the list...wtf
  21. P.S agree re Cammy Smith, thought he had a great twenty minutes or so. Probably unlucky not to get extended run in first team but competition for places is intense.
  22. As comfortable a 4-0 away win as I have seen in many a year. We came flying out of the traps and by the time we got our first goal must have had near 80% possession. I've seen us take many a humping at Rugby Park in the last twenty years so yesterday was particularly enjoyable. Heard the Killie fan (Gordon or fitever his name) is on Radio Scotland after game saying that it could have been double figures for us such was the domination. Lets hope we can keep the momentum building into the New Year cause the howkers are there for the taking this season.
  23. Sorry to see Logan go but McGowan ticks lots of boxes. Experienced SPL player Internationalist Decent age, hopefully best years ahead of him No fee required Pisses off the Arabs It's a yes from me.
