  1. to Aberdeen Football Club 112 years old today, and before any smart arse asks, no I don't remember it, although Phoenix might
  2. Getting to the business end of the season Hope we're all wrong because we win our remaining six games COYR

Lol, haven't heard that in many a year.
  4. Not being defeatist with this, but just don't the Tims at Pittodrie in a game whereby if they win they clinch the title that day and have these fuckers celebrating like they've won the champions league, instead of the SPL title where all their competitors are seriously disadvantaged in terms of resources.
  5. Victims at Pittodrie first please Chance to turn the heat up on these fuckers and silence the Ronnie Roar
  6. Certainly can't argue with Derek's comments re our dominance. Just a pity that once again we didn't put a team to the sword whilst so completely on top.
  7. Hayes, Rooney,Logan for me. Worthy of mention also is Taylor, as I sense that we sorely miss him when he isn't on the park. Given his phenomenal scoring record this season I reckon Rooney just edges it.

Can't really disagree with that. As the Americans would say he won it "wire to wire"

Far from faltering, he is actually pulling away from the chasers. Going to take a monumental collapse now for him not to win. A very controlled and mature performance from him.
  10. Well then, ended my self imposed boycott of Rugby Park (justified by Johnston no longer being chairman) and by fuck I'm glad I did. That was a thoroughly entertaining game, and whilst we might have made harder work of it than we might of, we got there in the end. Was initially concerned about listing three players on the bench whom McInnes patently didn't fancy playing on the artificial surface but it worked out in the end. Our dominance in the first half hour must have been the pretty close to being the highest by any team in a SPL game this season and apparently on BBC Scotland was reported as 78/22 us for the first thirty minutes, but worryingly we had nothing to show. First goal I initially thought was Daniels. Second half we were less dominant, but I never had any doubts about not winning that game until Brown's moment of utter madness in injury time, but thankfully he redeemed himself. Top Dons in no particular order, Flood, Smith, Logan & McGinn.
  11. Dr Feelgood - Back in the Night
  12. I must also confess Stupie that I also find a sneaky wee peek into RM irrestible whenever they face another crisis, so I guess that is pretty much every day
  13. From a sentimentality point of view, I would love to see Cadger leading the team out again, however sentiment has no place when results are important, therefore maybe see him in on of the last couple of games of the season If I am bring honest we have probably seen more of him since he rejoined than most of us could have hoped for given his issues of the preceding seasons.
  14. Michael Johnstone might be gone, but his treachery to Scottish football is not forgotten therefore, much as it hurts not going the ten minutes to Rugby Park I'm out. Out Walking the dog Watching on TV Depending upon the weather, either golf or lazing about Hard fought one each draw Hayes for us, Big Josh for them.
  15. Pleased to hear chemo is almost at an end Phoenix You're a tough auld bugger and you'll beat it mate Guess it is just the way of life, that when you're young you don't give things like cancer a second thought but as you get older it is never that far away from your thoughts, and as others have said we all know far too many folk who have contracted cancer. Here's to a full recovery, you'll need to be fit for a foreign jaunt for our assault on the Champions League qualifiers come July 2016 A' the best Al.
  16. Can't see a change of keeper tonight to be honest unless Clangers is injured. Out Working Listening Online Sleeping 1-0 ( ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY)
  17. Thats what I was thinking about Stewart. Good find
  18. I seem to vaguely recollect that he played the racist card whilst with us as the reason he fell out of favour. I could of course be totally imagining it though

    Fazzat?

H'min I am but a youngster compared to Phoenix
  20. Rhetorical question I assume
  21. Well with the weight i put on over the winter, I'd fill a fair section of the goal by just being there
  22. Wouldn't necessarily disagree with that line up. Massive incentive for us on Wed as three points is going to pretty much guarantee us second place barring the biggest arse collapse since I had a Vindaloo with extra chillies.
  23. How could I possibly have forgotten that we paid £50k for Richie Byrne
