  1. Michael Johnstone might be gone, but his treachery to Scottish football is not forgotten therefore, much as it hurts not going the ten minutes to Rugby Park I'm out. Out Walking the dog Watching on TV Depending upon the weather, either golf or lazing about Hard fought one each draw Hayes for us, Big Josh for them.
  2. BT Sports 1 right now...... fucking great entertainment
  3. Pleased to hear chemo is almost at an end Phoenix You're a tough auld bugger and you'll beat it mate Guess it is just the way of life, that when you're young you don't give things like cancer a second thought but as you get older it is never that far away from your thoughts, and as others have said we all know far too many folk who have contracted cancer. Here's to a full recovery, you'll need to be fit for a foreign jaunt for our assault on the Champions League qualifiers come July 2016 A' the best Al.
  4. Can't see a change of keeper tonight to be honest unless Clangers is injured. Out Working Listening Online Sleeping 1-0 ( ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY)
  5. Thats what I was thinking about Stewart. Good find
  6. I seem to vaguely recollect that he played the racist card whilst with us as the reason he fell out of favour. I could of course be totally imagining it though

    Fazzat?

H'min I am but a youngster compared to Phoenix
  8. Rhetorical question I assume
  9. Well with the weight i put on over the winter, I'd fill a fair section of the goal by just being there
  10. Wouldn't necessarily disagree with that line up. Massive incentive for us on Wed as three points is going to pretty much guarantee us second place barring the biggest arse collapse since I had a Vindaloo with extra chillies.
  11. How could I possibly have forgotten that we paid £50k for Richie Byrne
  12. Christ, I almost feel as if there is still a chance of me getting my long awaited break through after reading that

You're probably right, in which case doubly good bit of business by Dundee

Dundee keeper recently linked with move to the victims has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2018. Good to see him staying at Dundee instead if moving now to get splinters in his arse.
  15. Thats sad news. A true football man with integrity. Will always be remembered by me for standing up for what is right. RIP Turnbull Hutton
  16. Am I right in thinking it was Michael Dobbs that wrote "House of Cards" that is on Netflix ?

    Introductions

    Hello welcome on board min
  19. Ok Rocket I'll engage. What you say is not that different to what I have to say. Few things to clarify firstly, I am no great fan of Langfield, Brown or indeed Leighton as a supposed goalkeeping coach. Goalkeeping errors have cost us dear on a number of occasions already this season (and other seasons come to it ). You are right to say that a goalkeeper shouldn't be blamed for a clean sheet, however to suggest that nobody ever did is totally wrong at this time. Manc has already highlighted the existence of this out there in the world wide web. Trust me there are several comments on a.n.other AFC website where posters clearly blame Langfield for the loss of two points yesterday. I'm sure you'll be able to find them if you look. The goalkeeping position is of real concern to me, as it patently is to you, however unfortunately we are stuck with two keepers under contract for the next season that few of us rate. Resorting to petty name calling against them, and blaming them for all our ills because it suits an agenda (that is not directed against you ) patently serves no purpose and does us no good. Does Leighton's track record of identifying future No 1's fill me with confidence....does it hell as like. Do I have the answers.... No Do you....I don't know but I'm sure you'll share if you do
  20. Missed opportunity to all but tie up second place so gutted about that. Reckon it has to be the first time I have ever known sections of a team's support blame a goalkeeper for the fact that his team drew nothing each. No prizes for guessing where you can find that
  21. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Fca-35-Peter-Frampton/dp/B009AFG6MW/ref=sr_1_10?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1428096919&sr=1-10&keywords=peter+frampton Whilst that is ok, I have a double CD recording of the actual concert in Glasgow that I bought on thr night after the concert.
  22. A clip from the concert in November 2011 As you'll see Frampton has lost a little bit of his hair in the intervening thirty five years
  23. And there we go, a routine 2-0 win away to the league's bottom team and he is on their pitch giving it large
  24. Don't know exactly why Bobby but the prick gets right under my skin.
  25. Stupie, saw Frampton on 35th anniversary tour of Frampton Comes Alive at Royal Concert Hall. He played the entire track list from the album in order and then some of his newer stuff. All I can say is I would pay good money to go see it all again tomorrow night
